A Life-Changing Experience with the Best Guitar Classes Around!
I joined these guitar classes with some hesitation, unsure if it was the right choice—but it turned out to be the best decision ever! Dan and Carys are truly a dream team, guiding students through the world of melodies with expertise, passion, and kindness.
Dan is an exceptionally talented and patient instructor who tailors his teaching approach to suit each student’s pace, habits, and unique style. Whether you’re a total beginner or have prior experience, he ensures you feel supported every step of the way. What sets these classes apart is the personalized attention—Dan makes sure no one is left behind, creating a warm and encouraging learning environment.
Thanks to their dedication, I’ve not only improved my skills but also developed a deep love for playing the guitar. This has been a transformative experience, and I cannot recommend these classes enough! Whether you're young or old, a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, this is the perfect place to start or continue your guitar journey.
If you’re on the fence like I was, take the leap—you won’t regret it!
My 7yo son absolutely loves going to his guitar lessons. Dan and Darryl are fantastic tutors, fun, professional and caring. The method and online material is great (I even managed to tune my son’s guitar, something I thought I would never be able to do). We are super happy! I really couldn’t ask for more.
I've just started learning to play guitar at Guitar Tuition East London, and it has been great. The instructor, Dan, has been really helpful and makes every lesson a fun learning experience. He is a very talented guitarrist, so even more experienced students can learn from him.
Fun, friendly and professional guitar lessons. Dan is very passionate about guitar and a natural teacher. My 10 year old son loves his lessons - Dan is so good at keeping the kids engaged and my son is always so proud to show me what he has learned that day! My husband and I are not musical at all but Dan has supported us with instrument suggestions and even re-strung my son’s guitar. The guitar belt course is such a clever idea too. These lessons are worth every penny, thank you to Dan and the brilliant team!
I think the offer here is very good. The online resources are excellent, as is the student book- produced by Dan. I love the karate / guitar strap way of recognising progress, and as a method of motivation. The weekly lessons are groups rather than individual but your child does get a monthly 1-1 check in which I know my son really appreciates. There are termly performances which are a good source of inspiration and the environment in the Guitar school is just really cool. It’s expensive but I do think you get quite a lot and Dan does a great job of parent communication.
I have quite enjoyed learning at East Guitar London. Dan is an epic teacher, and I feel like I have grown jus by osmosis, especially seeing how he breaks down music sheets into smaller, fun and structured practice habits.
I have been a student at Dan for about 4 months, and he has helped me connect with music and playing guitar lot more than what I initially expected from the classes.
Most importantly, he makes a genuine effort in making sure the students are learning while having fun, which make the classes a breeze and enjoyable !
All the very best Dan and Carys ! 😇
East London Guitar Tuition offers a fantastic, friendly, and warm environment for anyone looking to learn or improve their guitar skills. The group lessons are fun and engaging, with vibrant attendance, making it a great social experience alongside the musical learning. The sessions are well-organized, and the coaches are excellent—especially Dan, who is a pleasure to work with. His teaching style is clear and motivating and has been very helpful. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance your skills, I highly recommend East London Guitar Tuition for a rewarding and enjoyable learning experience!
If you’re one edge about signing up for lessons there, do not think twice! The classroom setting works very well for me. At the start of each lesson, the tutor writes some practice material on the whiteboard (with varying levels of difficulty to cater for all skill levels), and students get some tome to practice this. Meanwhile, the tutor will walk around, answer questions and tailor suggestions to students. Being offered tea/coffee during the morning lessons is a very unique/nice touch!
Prior to joining this school, I learned most of what I know through online resources (free and paid), with the odd lesson here and there. But I have made more progress than ever after starting the lessons at Guitar Tuition East London.
Dan is my teacher, and he is excellent as he understands my goals, and he tailors his teaching accordingly. In fact, the whole team there is great. They put a lot of love and hard work in their jobs, and that is admirable.
