I found the company via City Lit Clarinet class information. I brought a second hand clarinet and had my basic student instrument serviced and repaired. Edward took great care over my instrument and gave advice on future maintenance for both instruments. I will most certainly go back to them in future.

Edward did a great job on my clarinets. He was helpful and upfront about everything from the outset, provided a quote for the work and stuck to it. Kept in touch throughout - even sent me a picture of my clarinet in pieces - updating me on the work itself and the timescale. I picked them up a few days ago and am very happy. They are in great condition and much more playable now.

I needed my daughters cornet fixed as one of the sliders was jammed and she is practicing for an exam. Ed quickly responded and his apprentice Slavena gave the cornet a full service unsticking the stuck slider and giving the instrument a good service. It was back in our hands after 24 hours and my daughter said there was a noticeable improvement in sound. Thank you for the prompt and friendly service much appreciated.

Called the London Music Co. in North London after my son got his cleaning cloth stuck in his sax...much more common than you'd think! Ed was very responsive and retrieved the offending article whilst I waited at his lovely workshop. He also gave me some helpful advice to stop it happening again! Such a lovely chap. Fast, detailed and helpful responses. No matter what business you use, maintaining musical instruments is not cheap but I’d recommend this place for value for your pound. They cleaned off my mouldy clarinet and it came back sounding better than it ever had even before the mould took hold. Edward was awesome and anticipated several needs like offering a new pull through to clean the instrument with (the old one was mouldy too). I’m honestly very happy with the service.

I found Edward’s business online as I was looking to rent a clarinet for a couple of months. Edward at London Music Co. did an excellent job of repairing and servicing my flute after I had not played it for many years. He also managed to remove all the tarnish that had accumulated over the years, and now it looks like a brand new instrument, as well as sounding like one. Edward kept me informed throughout the process to let me know exactly what needed fixing and what stage the repair was at. I also appreciated the inclusion of a bag containing a cleaning cloth and a tarnish removal cloth when I picked my flute up. It was a top-notch service all round, and I would not hesitate to recommend London Music Co.

I was very sad recently when I discovered two cracks had appeared in my 70-year old clarinet that I had used since childhood. I was resigned to replacing it but thought I would get it checked out first. Luckily I came across the London Music Co on the internet and Edward was able to repair the cracks. He also offered to do many other renovations - all at a very reasonable cost. The result is I now feel I have a new instrument with wonderful tone and smooth action.
