The owner and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the music and their customers. Never disappointed with any of my visits there. They specialise in funk, soul, jazz, disco, acrobat, the list goes on. And they will search for what you want if they don't have in stock, and order the item for you, at reasonable prices. One of the best vinyl shops with real credibility.

Pure Vinyl Records is always an absolute pleasure to visit. It's a great place to find hip-hop, R&B, soul and jazz vinyl with new releases being added regularly. Owner Claudia is almost always behind the counter and is a wonderful, friendly individual and will always greet you with a smile.
If you're a fan of jazz, improv or are just feeling a little adventurous, there's also a jazz jam almost every Monday night, anyone can play or just watch.
Overall, Pure Vinyl Records is a wonderful little space that means so much more than just buying records. It's one of my personal favourite places in all of London.

The best record store in town. Great selection amazing people and just a wonderful all round vibe. Love this place.

Great place and the owner doesn't have that air of a "know it all" like some shops do to the average customer like me. Claudia spent 20mins playing records for me in a genre I know nothing about, as I was buying presents for someone. She not only played the records but gave me a history on each artist she played; a true music lover.

Great find on our walk around Brixton this week. Owner was very friendly and kept a tidy store. Was also good enough to allow us to shoot a few band photos outside the store. We will be back when we have a duffel bag and royalty cheque. Highly recommend you check out this place!

This shop includes an amazing selection of r&b, funk, soul, jazz, including the obscure and all the hits. The woman at the front desk was so friendly and personable , she really makes one feel comfortable and welcome.

Top Friendly Down to earth record store. Its the type of place you can go in browse, chat, talk, get advice about tunes, equipment, life etc without intimidation. If you are brand new to vinyl or reggae soul etc, don't worry about a thing! These guys know their stuff and don't care if you don't know yours they will help you onto the right track! Also you can test any music before you buy to make sure you like it. They have a public usage deck + headphones!
