Reviews of Sister Ray

Always makes me happy when I visit sister ray either to mooch downstairs or pick up online purchases. Where else could I have found my own holy grail of the vinyl world and where my own personal love affair with music began...12 inch single of "the lunatics....." By the fun boy three. I salute you.
S. T.
The best record shop in Soho. Lots of interesting vinyl, relaxed at atmosphere. No knobheads, records are fairly priced. Go in and explore, but do them a favour and buy something!
J. V.
Great shop, friendly staff. When they found out I was mailing my records home, they gave me a solid record shipping box. Will come back on my next visit to London.
M. P.
I have been a customer for nearly 30 years. A great shop with an excellent stock and friendly staff.
J. S.
Fantastic selection! I could lose myself on the ground floor, i was like a kid in a candy shop in the vinyl records bit! Staff are super friendly & will go the extra mile. This is a must stop shop for any music lover. Can’t wait to go back
D. D. R.
CDs on the ground floor, great genre hopping vinyl collection in the basement! Something for everybody! Friendly staff!
K. L.
Hi I brought kenny wayne shepherd on limited red vinyl from sister ray this was very well packed. The album is called straight to you and is a live album this the first album I have and will buy more from this band.I would highly recommend sister ray to my friends and family and will buy from them again.
M. B.
This is a must visit for music lovers in London. Friendly and knowledgeable service and a huge selection of new and used vinyl LPs on the lower floor. Give yourself lots of time and enjoy!
C.
Great advice on buying second hand vinyls from them. They didn’t let me buy a scratched vinyl that may not work.
G. B.
Feels like a bit of a lone stand in modern Soho. Fair prices, good selection of vinyl in the basement covering dance, pop, rock, jazz, 60s r'n'b, and a bit of metally/industrial stuff. Quite a few rarities up for grabs too.
L. L.
I've visited this store a few times whilst I lived in London, but used the store online a few times over lockdown since I now live further away. I've pre-ordered a few limited edition items and the service has been great. Both times they've arrived well packaged and well delivered. Great service (even from farther afield!)
C. S.
Excellent record shop with great selection of indie rock, classic rock and other genres. I always visit the placen when in London.
S. R.
Great shop with great selection and helpful staff.
They have a good amount of CDs on the first floor but do take some time to check out the box sets as well. I felt I could've easily blew a few hundred £ right there.
The vinyl is downstairs. They have a pretty good range of everything though they lean more towards rock (indie, classic, metal, punk, etc). They mostly have new vinyl though there are the small smatterings of used stuff. I love that they put photocopies in the sleeve instead of actual records though I wish they did this for the used items as well.
Worth the stop if you're record shopping in London.
P. O.
A big shout out to Phil and his staff.Ive sold a lot of vinyl to them in the past few months;they've been very helpful in explaining what it is they are looking for when giving me a quote.Ive never met people with such a level of knowledge of music and vinyl.
They have answered any questions I've put and been treated with respect.I regret my youthful innocence in writing stuff on inner and outer sleeves of my records,as I would have been rewarded more.
So if you have vinyl to sell this is the place to go.
M.
Large selection of records, lovely atmosphere, nice staff. Left the store with my bags full. If you are somewhere nearby you need to drop by!
Don’t forget to take the “what’s the story? Morning glory” pic!
L. E.
Always find some classic metal vinyl for the husband on our visits to Sister Ray.
K. S. (.
And amazing grotto of music... Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. It's a small store so it won't have absolutely everything but I finally got round to purchasing Pretty Hate Machine by Nine Inch Nails... So I shall be forever grateful
S. O.
I stopped off at Sister Ray to look for a couple of specific records, after visiting a few other SOHO stores I found this one to be better organized and the staff were very helpful. I was looking for some Prog Rock and ended up buying a couple great LP's in very good condition. If you love music, digital or analog then Sister Ray is the place for you!
D. S.
Love buying classic vinyl from this store, so sad that most youngsters don't see this as a pleasurable pastime. Unlike my other fav store Groove Records, this place has managed to survive the decades, so help it out and don't just browse BUY, as this is the only way these remaining stores will survive.
S. B.
Absolutely brilliant store if you love music vinyl cds its a must place to visit.
B.
Excellent two storey modern record shop in the heart of soho. CDs upstaira and records downstairs. Not as big as their previous shop in the same street but still Sister Ray. Been going here for years. Always find something.
P. B.
The staff have impeccable taste in music and this is reflected in the stock. Excellent and diverse selection of new and used vinyl downstairs. The staff are all very friendly. Prices are okay, it's Soho, so expect them to be more expensive than Discogs. I enjoyed going there more when they had larger premises opposite.
J. A.
We've been visiting Sister Ray for years. A real record collectors hub for sure!! I've picked up many gems from this Soho giant over the years.
J. C.
Great selection of new and old, lots of rare gems. Was delirious and dehydrated in the heat but the clerk was v patient and helpful
J. G.
Excellent treasure trove for music lovers especially fans of alternate rock and rock history
P. C.
Great selection, picked up a bunch of interesting stuff I'd never heard of from the vinyl new releases section downstairs.
M. W.
Massive selection of records downstairs and reasonably priced. Probably the best record shop in London...
D. C.
Decent selection of records, prices are a bit steep.
C. T.
Just a brilliant record shop, and always has been.
s.
You can get some discounted records here if you search well. Really decent place
M. F.
very nice record store. the stuff is very friendly and helpful as well. the vinyl selection downstairs is huge and has a lot of different genres as well as many sub-genres. there is also the possibility to pre-listen the records (max 5 at once). I can highly recommend you this shop if are down in london for record shopping.
D. H.
Love this place . Its amazing for vinyl
A. S.
A small shop but fully packed with vinyl. I went there on purpose and I really concentrated only on vinyl so to be perfectly honest I have no clue what they can offer on cd-s but if you are a vinyl fan this place is a must visit. You can find all sorts of styles from classic to jazz through funky, hard rock etc. They sell both new and second hand LP-s. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. There are a number of vinyl players and let you listen to the open box records. This shop reminds me of London in the 90’s. You can spend a whole day there easily.
d. h.
One of the finest record shops left in soho. You will not find a more comprehensive selection of cd's or vinyl's spanning all genres. Incredibly friendly staff with broad knowledge of musical genres, couldn't recommend more!
J. M.
Very wide selection of different genres helpfully labelled for those of us who don't always fancy digging through dusty crates. Lots of rarities and special editions.
P. U.
Really nice record store, so much choice and nice price!
J. G.
Great range of CD and vinyl. Helpful staff.
T. D.
Sister Ray's one of the best record stores in London. Great mix of new and classic releases, CD and vinyl, and friendly staff who know music and are happy to chat about what they're listening to. Love it. Support independent!
M. D.
Great little shop packed with old vinyls and CDs. A gem of a place to find those records and reminse of yester year!
D. L.
Well stocked with plenty of Vinyl and CD's well recommended when in London to record Shop 10/10 keep the faith
T. M.
Once again, found exactly what i was after. Some Brazilian vinyls from the 80's that i was struggling to find out of Portuguese speaking countries. Quickly popped to Sister Ray on my way to the tube and got 4 of them when usually for the same price i would get 2 of any kind of vinyl. Made my afternoon and added to my collection😁
O. S.
Always a treat to pop in, one of my favourite independents!
A. P.
Helpful staff.
Good quality vinyl
E. G.
A very high quality record store full of both new and pre-loved vinyl records, CDs, flexi-discs, and laser discs. It really has quite an expansive collection as I was able to find almost every album I wanted from very varied genres (70s post-punk, modern orchestral hip-hop, ambient garage).
Prices are all very fair, mostly being at or below market price, but as they have such a great collection you should be prepared to spend a lot!
C. D.
The most important thing is that the store keeps a database with all the music records they sell. You will find mostly second hand but also sealed records and as usual in life your luck plays a great role in the daily catch. Good luck and don't forget to check that what you finally get inside the sleeve is what you asked.
R. W.
Pre- ordered the Joe Strummer vinyl lp assembly ,and this company made sure it was at my home on the day of official release , from soho to Durham (perfect) thank you all at sister ray records
A. B.
Great selection of vinal, great place. Great part of London
D. C.
Was just passing and heard some good tunes so popped in for a browse. Daughter bought some Christmas Elvis... random. Lovely, helpful lady at the counter. Will definitely be popping back.
W. C.
One of the best curated record stores I have ever been to. They always have several hard to find records , second hand, and new stuff. They have an excellent selection for 45s for you to flip through to find what you need for your juke box. Highly recommend for the visiting vinyl collector.
K. B.
One of the best places in central London to get your music.
It's a small place but always well stocked with both the new and the old. They will also buy your old vinyl from you if you have an overwhelming need to ditch. Be assured that they will find it a good home.
A. E.
I have recently given my son my 1980's Technics deck and set plus, about 250 vinyls from the 70's and 80's. He loved rooting through music representing his genre and purchased 5 albums. Very clean, efficient and good ambiance. Andy
X.
Exceptional customer service.
A special shoutout for Rachel and Leo who were really professional and kind, with good customer care.
I will definitely buy more vinyls from them.
Thanks guys
S. B.
I happened across this shop while exploring London last year. Since it was at the beginning of my renewed interest in vinyl, I didn't realize how great this shop is until I visited shops in other cities. They have a great selection and is well organized. The staff is very helpful -- a girl behind the counter identified an issue with one of the records I was getting and found a better one. I'll definitely visit again if I ever get back to the UK.
T. L.
One of my favourite record shops. There selection never ceases to amaze me. The staff are all very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The prices are very good too!
T. G.
A decent mix of new and good quality used records, and always a well-stocked sale section. Plus their "Near Mint" vinyl cleaning fluid has brought several of my records back into useable condition when I thought they were beyond repair
G. I.
Record shops should be protected by law. Maybe a bit like Listed Building Status. I start with Sister Ray being a Grade I Listed record shop. Been buying from here since 1980's and thoroughly recommend it... go on, give it a try, you won't regret it
A. J.
They have a knowledgeable team eager to help. A great selection of CD's and vinyl in the shop and downstairs. Thoroughly recommended.
R. K.
Sister Ray is always a great record shop to visit with always helpful staff. CDs upstairs and vinyl downstairs. Both new and second hand music on sale. Also one of the best shops to visit on record store day.
F.
Great Shop & Staff, is a busy place and they do their best. They got occasionally very nice piece, so u have to grab it on time. Fair value if u want to sell some of yours vinyl
M. D.
One of the few surviving record stores in the Soho area. Sadly it's now moved directly across the road from its original location and in doing so had lost some of its original charm. But it still has that dark and 'sombre' grungy feel to it and most importantly caters to most tastes in music - rock, punk, electronic, disco, reggae, hip hop etc - and has a huge range of vinyl and CDs to choose from.
M. M.
It's ok for mainstream rock and indie, but if you like anything leftfield or esoteric it's not here. London prices necessary due to location. Great for those new to collecting
L. V.
Great selection of CDs and vinyl - at good prices in a central location
G. G.
Fantastic range of music staff helpful and knowledgeable recommended
J. B.
Brilliant store filled with a ton of CDs, and a downstairs filled with record apon record. Whatever it is you want, bootleg, original pressings or reissues, they have a great selection of records. The staff are friendly and the records are reasonably priced. If you record shop in Soho, check this place out!
A. U.
Simply one of the best vinyl store in London. Located in Soho neighborhood, you can find rock 80s 90s 00s, psychedelic, soul and acid jazz genres, vintage and hard to find music and collection items, new and second hand. A kingdom for vinyl addicted. Top!
•. G. •.
Great selection of new releases and jam packed with different genres both on CD and Vinyl. Also had a little section of music related books and magazines which I found quite endearing. Loved it!
G. P.
Great music shop where the staff know their stuff and are very happy to help and make recommendations. Recommendations rack of CD's just inside door is worth a look. Includes good notes to help you pick.
a. t.
Visited today and found lots of vinyl I wanted to buy. I came away happy and the staff were friendly. Also lots of other record shops nearby, makes for a great day hunting vinyl.
M.
This shop has a nice selection of records, and a good system for displaying them. They had quite obnoxious music playing on the speakers, which made us eventually have to exit the store. Fairly expensive.
P. R.
Whether you're looking to expand your original vinyl collection or you're a late-to-the-party hipster, this shop is worth a visit. They know which items are rare, so don't go when your credit card is near its limit.
A. G.
I've found great vinyls there! And pay attention 'cause they have box sets and many things on cd. I took a Danzig very rare live copy, Queen live in Bs As 1981 vinyl too. If ya're in london soho, go and take a look!
A. D. A.
This place is my Mecca. Hands down my favourite store in London. I tend to pop in twice a week after work. Needless to say my wallet isn't very happy, while I certainly am! Very good selection of records and some truly exceptional rarities. The staff is exceptionally friendly and prices are quite competitive, on average 10% cheaper than other London stores.
K. B.
One of the top record stores in London where you can find a wide variety of styles. In the first floor you can find CD's and in the basement you can find the record collection. Typical but well organised collection in a wide range of prices. The store is clean and spacious. A must visit if you're looking for records
A. J.
This is THE record shop if you're into independent music, with highly knowledgeable staff and an excellent stock of CDs, vinyl, books, memorabilia etc... They also buy in second-hand collections so you can often find rare vinyl/CDs in the racks. The stock ranges across genres, such as rock, pop, psyche, drum and bass, hip-hop etc... with something for everyone. Highly recommended.
S.
Great selection and a wide variety. Went to a few other record shops in the area and left empty handed, but I ended up exiting this shop with 3 records. It's wonderfully organized in here. Although a bit pricey, it's a great place with most likely something your looking for.
D. F.
Well there's not much you can say about this store except Excellent. Some vinyls are overpriced but who cares if you want it you'll buy it. Friendly staff and a great selection of everything.
Z. T.
Very nice place for a vinyl lover :)
P. H.
Price: Not cheap, but given the convenient location it's not horrible.
Stock: Wide range, little bit of everything, 1st and 2nd hand.
Overall: All vinyls are pack in a quality plastic cover, which is a joy to flip lol. One thing worth mentioning: Quite a lot of the stocks are displayed with printed covers instead of the real ones, which is confusing because you can't tell the version of the disc (therefore you can't judge the price) without asking one of the staffs. On that day I have little intention to shop and didn't bother to ask the staffs hence left with empty hands... Worth visiting.
I. W.
The best record shop in Soho! I called about my Record Store Day purchase for collection and despite being really busy it was processed straight away 🙂
C. B.
Excellent selection, well priced
K. M.
Long standing record shop of excellence 👌
C. M.
Good record store with a very wide variety, though pretty hot and cramped on the inside. Got a Darkthrone and John Maus record while I was here. The soundtrack of the day here was Chill Hip-Hop Beats to Study/Sleep/Smoke To 24/7.
M. H. (.
Very wide collection of records spanning many genres. Some real nice gems to be found in here. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
C. L.
I love Sister Ray. It was originally the London sister shop to Nottingham's Selectadisc - which I still miss after it sadly closed down a few years ago. This is probably the best independent record shop I can think of. Always has an interesting range of stock (including vinyl) and a new releases section that's worth having a browse through.
S. D.
Awesome record shop in Soho. They have new and used vinyl, many rarities, and bargain bins. Knowledgeable staff. Two turntables are available on which to listen to potential purchases.
K. K.
Fantastic record shop in the heart of Soho. Great selection of vinyl in the basement and CDs as you walk in. Plus lovely helpful staff. Highly recommend a visit.
P. O.
Cool record shop and very knowledgeable staff.Had recent dealings with them got fair price for my records.
S. K.
Great shop, good friendly staff , who know there stuff! , prices more than fair for new vinyl & second hand quality material.
M.
Excellent record store with helpful staff and great history to boot. I'd recomend this place to anyone looking for the new sound. But be careful as you might just find it..
M. J.
Biggest selection of records in SOHO as far as i can see, went also through reckless records and others nearby.
Prices are fair and staff knows what is available and what not by heart.
Seems to me they are not specialized in one genre compared to the others. You can buy new releases and used both vinyl and cd.
By the way - SOHO is an must-see for all kinds of alternatives....
R. H.
A great selection of records as always, with helpful and knowledgeable staff.
j. b.
Plausible prices for decent enough ranges and depth of new/used vinyl and CD's. A canny Berwick Street survivor with a deserved reputation as one of London's top music destinations. Definitely worth visiting.
D. T.
Found loads of vinyl on my visit with helpful and friendly staff. All records are easy to find and in great condition. A must for vinyl lovers!!
E. D.
Fantastic record shop, be prepared to do some serious digging and you will uncover some bargains. I found some records I had been after for a long time. Great staff too..
M. W.
Good record store with a wide selection of records and cds. Prices are average and I managed to pick up a sealed record I've been after for a while for a decent price. Will be visiting again.
J. ..
I love jazz , U will never know what would u get from the old vinyl record from here ,it's not really much collection , but friendly staff and it's provided test listen that's make a lot of different .
A. J.
Bought QOTSA songs for the deaf, received an unsealed, scarily thin, and warped product. Not really expected for the £24.99 price. However a good selection, just seems like a bit of a gamble selecting a print of an album cover in the hope that he brings out something sealed and of a reasonable quality (180g)
M.
Really nice record shop with rare recordings at really cheap price! Support them!
L. H.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff, this shop sells a range of Vinyl for vinyl lover.
The price is fair, sometimes much more reasonable than any vinyl fair/market.
B. P.
Great place to browse cds and vinyl. But wrap up well because the air-conditioning takes no prisoners. I heard they found captain America in the basement last week. He'd been in a block of ice since World War 2.
R. E.
Love the vinyl they have downstairs, great selection of new and second hand. I always go in looking for fresh second hand stuff and they always seem to have some new pieces in.
K. C. B.
Awesome selection of CDs and Vinyl - almost too many to go through! (That's never a bad thing)
Hoping to visit again soon.
A. M.
I love this record shop, the prices are not way too high and you can find some gems from time to time. Still lots of vinyls and a good selection of all sorts of music.
K. K.
Fantastic record shop in the heart of Soho. Great selection of vinyl in the basement and CDs as you walk in. Plus lovely helpful staff. Highly recommend a visit.
F.
Great Shop & Staff, is a busy place and they do their best. They got occasionally very nice piece, so u have to grab it on time. Fair value if u want to sell some of yours vinyl
D. T.
Found loads of vinyl on my visit with helpful and friendly staff. All records are easy to find and in great condition. A must for vinyl lovers!!
S. C.
A Soho institution. Great selection of vinyl and friendly well informed staff
s.
A nice vynil shop with a big selection of new and old hits. A very helpful and kind staff.
B. P.
Great place to browse cds and vinyl. But wrap up well because the air-conditioning takes no prisoners. I heard they found captain America in the basement last week. He'd been in a block of ice since World War 2.
M. A.
I love this shop - staff have always been friendly and in one case went the extra mile to get me an ESG record so I could get it signed by them
E. F.
Lovely helpful and patient staff!
S. F.
A friendly independent Vinyl and CD shop in the West-end. Thousands of records in-store so there's bound to be something you'll like. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
A. N.
Very good selection, well organized and well maintained second hand vinyl selections. Good jungle and DNB offerings.
J. P.
Excellent record shop for new an old vinyl
K. B.
Always visit when in London. Great selection of vinyl.
C. S.
Sister Ray is another staple on my walks looking for music around Soho, with a big selection of vinyl and CDs to be had here. While stock seems to favour pop, rock and metal, there are plenty of other more obscure genres to flick through and regular cut price sales mean there's always a chance you can grab a bargain.
R. J.
How the mighty have fallen. When it was across the road it was like the throne room of record shops--well stocked and majestic. Nowhere its just a small shop that sells records.
P. J.
Looked a great place to browse for cd/vinyl but when I visited it was Record Day, & the place was rammed!! Will go again on my next visit to London, especially now HMV on Oxford St has closed...
M. A.
Excellent range, definately my favourite, probably the best vinyl store in London.
B. B.
Been visiting this record shop for 15+ years, still great selection of all music genres. Some cheap classics too!
B.
One of my favourite record stores in London. Very welcoming feeling to it and a great stock of records and CDs from any genre you can name.
S. C.
Very nicely set up and welcoming for those who dabble or serious passionate collectors
D. d. l. P.
Wide selection of electronic and rock music. Found lots of hidden gems that I’d never be able to find in the states. Happy costumer!
D. S.
Good place to buy second hand CDs and Lps
l. t.
I didn't even know this existed until a few months ago! A massive selection of vinyl and CDs. By no means cheap, but I spent yonks in there and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable. A definite visit for the music geeks out there.
N. V.
Great music store with a fantastic selection of cd's for excellent prices. Definitely worth visiting if you're a music fan and you're in London.
J. C.
Average record shop given the competition across London and within Soho. Records are average to expensive. Compared against other shops in the area it's distinctly lacking an atmosphere and vibe.
B. S.
Excellent selection of new and second hand vinyls with helpful staff definitely worth a visit
L. M.
Large assortment of vinyls
E. Y.
Great record shop with a varied collection and at reasonable prices, never had a bad lp yet. Can definitely find some gems here flicking through the collectiins
R. W.
Been and purchased many records here. Excellent record shop. Friendly and helpful staff too.
s. S.
Some interesting bits and bobs. Always on my list of record shops to visit when I'm London. Check out the records on the walls for some of the rarer stuff.
V. M.
Very well treated vinyl records. Small selection of a wide range of genres and styles. Mostly major labels, you won't find rarities or minor artists.
A. M.
Great selection, amazing atmosphere.
K. W.
Ordered album online. Cheapest I found and delivered the day it was released. So pleased!!!
A. M.
Independent record shop with wide selection of new and old records / cds. Plenty of collectibles.
W. D.
Not many record shops left. Go there and buy music don't download
E. B.
Music shop stocking a lot of CDs and vinyl records. All genres over two floors. Sells record cleaning solution too.
G. W.
Brilliant record shop. The vinyls in the basement.
S. E.
Busy place which was good to see. Got a very good price on an album which everyone was selling at a lot more.
Well worth the visit
T. B.
Wicked selection of dance in the basement. One guy upstairs friendly enough, one was a miserable ****...that usual London arrogance. Ignore it though, tunes make it worth while.
A. B. (.
Still surviving despite repeated development in Berwick Street. Stock levels seem a bit lower than when they were across the road but still possible to find old CD singles long since deleted and extreme bargains on the front counter.
M. W.
Classic London record store. Excellent stock selection and reasonable prices. Worth a visit.
M. A.
I love this shop - staff have always been friendly and in one case went the extra mile to get me an ESG record so I could get it signed by them
A. D.
Great selection of vinyl old & new & sometimes you bump into musical hero's!
A. G.
Good choice of vinyls, used and new
S. W.
Great friendly shop, very diverse stock
M. S.
Just a music lover's dream. Great staff, huge selection of vinyl, CDs & other formats.
G. M.
Five star advice, help and knowledge: one staff member was Spotify on legs! Sadly office staff member #2 was a bit grumpy on banking day.
D. B.
Watching my beloved happy here is infectious pleasure.
D. B.
Fantastic record store! Required visit every time I travel into London.
P. A.
Proper old record shop. Big selection of artists all labelled by name so great for remembering that band you'd forgotten about 10 years ago.
A. V.
I found and bought some vinyl LP records I was looking for.
Great service.
M. C.
One of the last remaining independent record stores in London, a great range of vinyl and CDs .
h. h.
Definitely better for vinyl than shoreditch's roughtrade, i still prefer flashback on essex road however. sister ray's way more central though
D. L.
My favourite record shop in Soho!
R. K.

R. M.
Probably the best record store in London. Too much variety, great service.
S. D.
Great selection of vinyl in store. You won't be disappointed.
K. A.
Awesome collection of LPs, and VERY fairly priced too

G. P.
Great selection new and used. Friendly staff, recommended!
M. F.
Quite a wide choice of cds and vinyl records, both new and vintage.
E. H.
Good selection of music formats. One of 2 shops left in Rupert street
I. B.
Need a LP this is the place. If they don't have it will recommend where to go.
P. B.
Has recently moved but still has a great collection of records and very easy to spend a lunchtime searching through for a great find
B. J.
Great selection of vinyl, sometimes helpful staff
I. M.
Staff are still as rude as they were in the 90s but that's part of its charm. And it spawned the fantastic Kelly Lee Owens so nuff said.
p. g. (.
They were my mail order go to for the longest time, and then my favourite drop in when in London.

(Translated) An institution among the London record shops. Above CD's and DVD's, large selection of new and used vinyl in the cellar, friendly and competent staff, fair prices.
The cover for "(What's the Story) Morning Glory" by Oasis would be shot on the doorstep. Enclosed my 20 years later adaptation.

(Translated) A very nice record shop. If you come to Soho, this is the first place. If you are happy to have a record shop bag, people like a certain rapper in Shibuya will come to buy a MIX CD, so be careful. Even if you refuse, there is no danger because you will only be cursed with a scary face.

(Translated) Used and new record and cd store very well stocked in the Soho district! Personally, I managed to find "second hands" CDs at SPECTACULAR prices !!!! Even at 1 pound! And some of these were practically new! Sealed! Interesting then the music that managers put for their customers / visitors: they practically make a real DJ set! Spacing over different genres. I limited myself to viewing the products on the ground floor only, where there are mainly cd. There is also an underground floor dedicated to vinyls which, due to lack of time, I could not see but, if they are so equipped with CDs, I imagine that they are just as good for vinyls! I cannot, however, comment on the prices. For CDs, I would like to reiterate clearly, you can buy some very interesting things, even starting from objectively low prices, or between one and three pounds !!!! It is clear that there are also expensive products or, in any case, in the average but browsing among the various exhibitors, I managed to find exceptional things (at least for my musical tastes), at very low prices! Last detail that, perhaps, will make you smile: I was there on 6 July, a fairly warm Saturday in London and in the shop they had the air conditioner a thousand !!! It practically froze !!! Bring a jacket! Especially if you decide to spend some time there, like I did! The shop is also worth more than a visit!
(Original)

(Translated) One of the most iconic and famous record stores in London, over the years it has changed location always remaining in Berwick street in the Soho district, for those who do not know the street that serves as the cover for the first album by Oasis (What's The Story) Morning Glory ?, where the shop also appears in its old location. You can find everything there. On the first floor CD, in the basement vinyl. Especially new records, specializing in indie rock pop and listening electronics, they also have a Jazz section and a Metal Stoner.
