Went out on RSD Part 2 to pick up 2 sought after releases and was very lucky to find them cheaper than other places and best of all a lovely smiling face at the cash desk un like my other experience. She was vey happy I don't buy much but this will be my first visit. Great selection of stuff.

I like this record store the best. Their web site is excellent. Most of the albums have some or all the tracks available for listening. Browsing is easy. Prices are clear. Downstairs have used vinyls, upstairs also the recent ones. They also carry lots of music related books. So everything is just as good as can be. I even bought something. :)

One of Soho's finest. Number one destination for jazz, reggae, soundtracks, latin and much more. An easy place to spend too much money.

A lot of interesting things: classics, new releases. However, I find prices high on average, as compared with internet prices (discogs, to give an example). The thing that I like most is that there is always music on the speakers inside the shop and often I've listen very nice things that I wasn't aware of. Overall, nice atmosphere.

I’ve been multiple times here and alway got out with great music in my bag. Amazing records selection. Sometimes it could be packed with random people who are not really aware of the quality of the stuff inside this shop. The staff upstairs, which is clearly annoyed by the tourists, could be more friendly and not treat you like they are doing you a favor when you buy a record because you are the one paying their bills.

Really cool record store with a great selection of records. Fun to look around at what they had as it was a little more eclectic than what I am used to. I wouldn't dream of marking them down for not having a pop album the day it was released, but as this was the 3rd record store I'd gone to within 2 blocks of our flat and none of the 3 had the Harry Styles album on date of release, I was a little bummed. I understand their target audience doesn't go in for that kind of thing necessarily, however I had to go to a much larger chain to find something that I would have been happy to pay a higher price at a smaller business to get.

I knew it was going to be one of my favourite record stores before I even got there. Great vibe, staff knowledgeable and approachable; very important. Offered some releases for me to listen to. Bought some great jazz LPs at online prices. Second hand dept downstairs also friendly and packed with loads of decent stock. SOTU is almost exclusively killer with zero filler.
