I do not know about good albums, but enjoyed so much the place to relax and had a good time for food and drink.

Located inside Mare Street Market find this trim bijou vinyl specialist.
Showcasing all new vinyl, largely from boutique and independent labels and thoughtfully avoiding the "Hackney-ed", obvious and anodyne for the more adventurous, recherché and off-kilter.
Researched and pinpointed stock curated by an astute and intrepid hand that doesn't shy away from cohabiting with the more outré fringes of most genres.
The prices be high, perhaps mitigated by the expertise evident here while the staff are approachable, responsive and pleasant.
This might be a relatively "new kid on the block" but this store already hold its ground amid the established players.

To me this is the no1 record shop in London, it's the staff that make a record shop in my opinion. A lot of records that are promoted here are not your average popular releases but much more interesting rarer little gems that you may have never heard of. If you can't make it to the shop just take a look at the staff picks on the website, they are second to none.

Excellent range of vinyl records with friendly staff. One of the best shops on the East end!

Nice little record store in mare st market. Never been to the market but came here specifically for the records. Up to date represses and lovely classics. If you're looking for vintage records it's a little trickier to find them here but the staff are very accommodating and will help you find what you want.

This store is amazing! Especially in a time when there is quarantine. The service has been fluid and very cooperative under these circumstances. They delivered my record by bike in a 3miles radius. Great for local customers! Support local businesses, they truly give 5 star service!

This is what a record store should be. Amazing, knowledgeable staff who love what they do, are super friendly and have a really thoughtful curation strategy. It's a joyful place to be. Phil, Noreen and Sonny will chat to you, find out what you dig and suggest new records for you. A growing portion of my racks at home are filling with their tips (which are always excellent). Excellent selection of interesting reissues from around the genre world along with new releases. Highest recommendation.

Everything I want in a record shop! It looks so small but those shelves are heaving with exquisitely curated titles.
I love the relaxed atmosphere inside the shop and I never feel like I need to rush through the shelves. The team are incredible, so friendly and knowledgable. They never make fun of my naff taste and are always happy to accommodate special requests.
The special releases they have brought us so far have been ridiculously excellent and they keep coming.
I also admire how agile they were to adjust to the new 'normal', barely any impact on getting my hands on the records I want. It must have taken some sleepless nights to get that in place. Bravo STP Team! May your reign be long and wonderful.

Furnished shop, but we did not find what we were looking for. Need to go back
