The Crows nest studio has been mindfully set up by a Olly - musician and producer. The studio boasts state of the art equipment alongside Olly a highly skilled, innovative musician who constantly pushes the boundaries and encourages those in his presence. My experience at The Crows Nest has always been a positive one. For those that need to advance their musical career this is a fantastic place! For those that are just starting out this is the place! Had the pleasure of working with Olly several times at Crows Nest over the years. He's a professional and meticulous sound engineer, but also heaps of fun and creates a positive and chilled vibe in the studio. He is attentive and listens to ideas, but also makes good suggestions and is always up for a bit improvisation/experimentation. The studio is awesome too, great gear and lots of cool instruments to play with.

Fab studio and Olly is simply amazing, I recorded my first singles here and he took so much care to help me execute my vision. And at times when I wanted some input, he came up with great ideas (and he is a drummer so came in handy with percussion!). I got that great heartfelt, authentic vibe I was looking for. I plan to record here a lot in future!

We worked with Olly towards the latter end of 2016 to record two new tracks and I speak for all of when I say that he was one of the most professional, engaging and enjoyable producers we've had the pleasure of working with. We'll most certainly be heading back to work there soon and the quality of the studio is exceptional. With The Crows Nest, Oli has managed to squeeze a whole lot of sound into a small amount of space and the proof is in the pudding: We're exceptionally proud of the records we've made and can't wait to make more. The only issue I have is that I've fallen slightly in love with his Gibson Hollow Body and I'm now in the danger of spending absurd amounts of money to buy a model.

This is by far my favorite studio in London. I have recorded 2 albums here with Olly plus many more projects. He has a fantastic collection of vintage and new amplifiers as well as awesome microphones and outboard gear from NEVE, Universal Audio and a vintage Roland Space Echo. Tape or Protools he's got it all. Not only is he an excellent studio engineer and producer but an amazing drummer who's been more than happy to get behind the kit on my projects. Can't recommend this place enough. Look out for Olly's work on my new record! LT Wade

The Crows Nest Studio is everything you as a band or Indeed a solo performer will ever need to create the finished recording that you are wanting to hear, and there are a number of reasons for this. Olly's career in music/bands and drumming are testament to the fresh, exciting ideas and vision he has, his easy going and fully committed approach to recording are a revelation, that makes you feel at ease in 'The Crows Nest' (and what a fabulous place it is to be) With a wonderful selection of amps/drums/guitars/mic's, etc etc to get YOU where you want to be we urge you to book a session and see for yourself. Olly has created a lovely chilled working environment from which to work, and with plenty of places to eat/drink/ and chill when having a break from recording (Broadway Market on a sat is a must) Don't delay call now as you wont be sorry for long!! Best little studio in East London. Full of good outboard gear and an ace little desk. Loads of good amps to try out. Olly, the engineer really knows his chops so your session is in good hands but i believe he dry hires the studio too. I got really ace results working here so i highly recommend!

Colosseum.TV recorded the London leg of our UK grime competition in March 2017 at the Crows Nest Studios in which we recorded 5x cyphers with 25 MCs. The personal touch given by our sound engineer Olly was second to none - he made sure everything was perfect for us and our artists. We really couldn't have asked for more and will be returning later in the year for our next project.
