I found this guy through another training experience for voice over and he told me he produced songs. I was trying to improve my songs as I knew I didn't have the skill to bring the best out of it. I emailed Anthony to ask advice about one of my songs. I decided to go for asking him to help me on the song. The price was so worth it. From the get go, Anthony made it such a relaxing atmosphere. Me and my friend looked at each other in utter disbelief at how amazing this guy is. He knew what sounds to add to the song when I wasn't able to totally express how I wanted it to sound apart from the genre. It took him just one day to complete it. This guy is a genius, highly professional as well as humble and totally relaxed and friendly. I will definitely use his business for future songs. 5 star for sure. If you want a pro who knows how to add magic to your music, this is the guy!! He brought the song to life on so many levels. Thanks Anthony!

Let me start from the fact that I came to record my songs from scratch without any professional attitude how to do it. Anthony provided amazing guidance and knowledge. I must mention that generally I am very demanding and harsh to people I work with and I need additional patience as I always have to make things done according to my vision. I was looking for producer who will follow my lead and fill me up with his vibes. We had with Anthony incredible understanding, we worked on compromises and choosing the better good. Anthony Galatis is very professional, open-minded, funny, patient, handles knowledge and passion for what he's doing. I’ve always had amazing service over the years from Anthony Galatis & the speed at which he works makes him excellent value. I recently needed a track mixed at short notice in order to pitch for a film. Anthony was very booked up but was willing to fit me in by working a longer day. He still achieved an incredibly professional result in just a few hours. After his skilful mixing & mastering, one of my tracks has been accepted for the Caffe Nero play list and another has been accepted for an emerging film. He has great skills and has never let me down. I highly recommend him as a first class producer/engineer; he is also amazing pianist. During the last year, I have spent a lot of time recording music in the Uptown Studios. The facilities are modern, clean and well-equipped. Also, they are quite easy to reach as its just a 5 minute walk away from Parsons Green tube station. The staff and producers are friendly and professional and overall it seems like quite a warm, family-like atmosphere. Most importantly though, I was always happy with the quality of the recordings / productions that were created in the Uptown Studios.

I have done two recording sessions with Ant at Uptown Studios. It almost goes without saying but the reason for going back a second time was based on the experience I gained first time round and it was a privilege to work with him and Maxwell on both occasions. I was nervous, having never recorded before, and I think it would be fair to say the first few takes were shaky, but what defined this experience for me is how I was coached and made to feel relaxed. A quick word here; a suggestion there. It goes a long way. As the confidence grew, so did the sound. The booth is a place of freedom of expression and being given license to explore the sound is a liberating experience. Like with most things in life, confidence comes from the people around you as well and it is not difficult to find here as the skills of the people that you work with makes you raise your game. It is in the editing that you get a sense of how it all comes together. I do not profess to have an unlimited knowledge of the profession but I can say without hesitation that Ant is one of the most extraordinary professionals I have seen work. His technical skill and artistry is extraordinary to watch and the sounds that he can develop can make even the mediocre, rich and purposeful. I have been very impressed with how my tracks have turned out and vindication of this has been in the comments I have received. I admire and respect Ant for the work he does and feel immensely fortunate to work with someone without parallel and at the very top of their profession. Despite his pedigree, this is an unpretentious, raw, yet polished, imaginative and inspiring experience and recording at its very best.
