We have invested in a few guitar teachers over a period of a year and there are not many that connect as well as Dan does with his students. He encourages young children to believe in their potential and works them hard to achieve goals quickly but accurately. Dan is helping our son who has already achieved the initial entry level award with Merit within 4 months of starting his online weekly lessons. Dan’s communication with parents is outstanding.
We highly recommend Dan, he’s a fantastic teacher.

Dan is a great teacher. He is so patient with the kids, so knowledgeable about guitar playing and explains thing so clearly to kids and adults alike. I would definitely recommend Dan to anyone interested in learning to play the guitar.

6 Months ago My son aged 10 decided he wanted guitar lessons, after looking around I made my decision and gave Daniel a call. It only took 1 lesson with Daniel and my son was hooked and excited. This made me feel so pleased to see that the choice I made had been the right one. As you know if you have kids it sometimes takes a long time for them to settle with a new Teacher/Tutor.
Daniel has great patience and knows exactly what buttons to push to make your child progress.
When my son first started lessons with Daniel he new just the basics from what he had been taught at school but now with the expert knowledge from his new tutor, has progressed onto Rock School with electric guitar and can read music.
I am sooooo pleased that I found Daniel and would urge anyone needing a good guitar tutor to give him a call.

After my previous guitar tutor retired I was in the middle of studying for my grade 5 rock school exam. Daniel was recommended to me by a work colleague whom had studied with him previously, successfully achieving his grade 8 rock school exam, passing with a distinction.
From the offset, Daniels laid back but informative style of teaching put me at ease immediately, allaying my concerns that I would have to begin studying for my grade 5 again, he was able to help me pick up where I had started with my previous tutor, no easy feat as I had grown familiar with my previous tutors style of teaching.
I successful passed my Grade 5 rock school exam with a merit, which was wonderful and can definitely be partly attributed to Daniels enjoyable lessons and the knowledge of musical concepts he has taught me.
Comes highly recommended.

I drive from Upminster to Dan weekly for really first class tuition. I have wanted to play guitar for some time and have now found the right teacher in Dan. He is enthusiastic, interested in teaching the areas of music I am keen on (mainly jazz and fingerstyle) Daniel is always encouraging and gives great feedback even when my brain wants to play a chord but my fingers say no. he has patience in bucket loads and makes me feel at ease when attempting to play. I have been a teacher for many years and Daniel's approach and style of teaching would suit all abilities. I can't recommend his strongly enough. if you have always wanted to learn then Dan is the teacher to go to.

I was on the point of giving up guitar lessons when someone recommended Dan to me. I had the trial lesson he renewed my interest in a very short time. He is very informative and encouraging. normally I am very nervous when playing anything in front of someone new but I didn't feel at al awkward with Dan. He encourages you to record part of the lesson so you don't forget what to practice once you leave which I thought was an excellent idea. I am certainly looking forward to my next lesson now! So anyone who has become discouraged or lost heart or just looking for a new guitar tutor look no further.

A passionate guitar tutor who really wants his students to reach there full potential. Since I have been having lessons I feel that I have progressed really quickly, and have started working towards my grades in classical guitar. Daniel has a broad knowledge of music and can teach many different styles and genres. Highly recommended. .

Dan has been teaching my daughter for just over a year now, She was a very early beginner, when she first went to see Dan and now she has gone from strength to strength, and had recently played lead guitar in the school band, Dan is very patient, hard working and methodical in his lessons and he is also a great guy too! Don't look anywhere else for a top 5 star guitar teacher, you have already found him!

Have been going to Daniel for about a year now with my son. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable, versatile and above all, patent, a great teacher. Since we started both of us have made amazing progress in both our ability to play and technique. Would recommend Daniel to anyone wishing to play guitar.
