C. W.Has everything that a person interested in media would want. Music Films , technology. I wish they still did games but it was phased out ages ago. Physical media is less of a reason to buy over digital, but it's nice to look at what's new bow and again.
R. C.One of the remaining HMV shops, it’s great for gifts and fun to browse. If you’re familiar with the brand, this is a good one, all on one floor. Has a big music and film selection, plus everything else you’d expect, including collectibles, sweets, clothing, graphic novels, vinyl, and loads more.
A. S.There's still a little magic about going into HMV but I don't buy music from there anymore, however, my daughter loves the Anime and Mandalorian products. *Warning £4 for a can of pop with an Anime character on it is something I didn't expect or the obsession with American 'candy'.
They have vinyl but that is a very expensive hobby rabbit hole to go down IMHO.
The staff have always been friendly.
A. N.Just popped in on the off chance of enquiring about an old film 'life-force Toby Hooper ..I had been looking for a while. Spoke to the Male assistant who said oh! The have just reduced that film, whereupon he showed me where it was . And I purchased it and watched it later that evening still good and I got a bargain.

p.Lots of stock but just too pricey when compared with Internet retailers. If you want it now, I guess this is the place to go, if you can wait a day or so, cheaper on the net.
J. B.Popped in for a quick look to see what might catch my eye. Bought the Brian Wilson CD and an AC/DC pint glass for my son and had a very nice chat with the young lady on the till.
Quite a decent selection of new groups in there, as I did see The Dust Coda on display, which was a pleasant surprise.
If we don't use our high street stores, then we lose them, no matter what you think of the owners of HMV.
E. L.If you are an older person (like me), then this was like a time warp back to to seventies. Masses of vinyl on display for sale and a lot of bargains in the CD sections to be had.

S. S.In a world where everything is a digital download, it's great to go into a proper shop and have the tactile experience of looking through the vinyl, BluRay and other media.
My only complaint is the price of some of the vinyl, I know it's a bit of a niche now, but £27 for an album with 12 tunes on it, that you could have got for half that 30 years ago seems a little extreme. I guess some of the multi buy options off set that a little.

b.I always enjoy coming to this HMV! The staff are so helpful. I was having trouble finding a particular album on vinyl and one of the staff members found it within 1 minute, I was so impressed! I don't know his name but thank you Phoebe Bridgers man! I will treasure this album forever and will continue to be a loyal customer for as long as the store is open!

S. T.Good selection of stuff. Mostly music stuff I'm not into. But I'm weird. Most people would love it I'm sure. Was going to give it 3 star, but the Iron Maiden t-shirt in there was impressive enough to earn another. Didn't get the cashiers number, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

R.I really like this store. It's big with a ton of choice: loads of comic books and literature, clothing and accessories, as well as films and games, etc. You can set aside an hour for browsing. Hope it stays.

Prices are nothing special, and it’s usually cheaper to buy stuff from Amazon mind you. If for whatever reason you want to buy specifically from a shop though, this is obviously the way to go.

Good selection and range of music, dvds and some vinyl which is on the come back! Are able to listen to a cd prior to purchase, just ask the friendly staff.
Gentle slope for access and wide aisles inside so good for mobility access.

They have all kinds of music, dvds, t shirts of the characters from a movie etc that you are looking for. They do all kinds of special promotions which is good so you can get quite a few what you are after. HMV is right near house of Fraser.

M. M. M.HMV is a Great place to find all your music and discover New and Various Artists. The store is quite big and at any one Time, There could be as many as 25 people shopping there. And sometimes as little as about 4 people.
HMV have a range of music to suit all Tastes. From New Releases in the album chart To many CD (Albums) on Special offer. Such a huge range also.
Also HMV Sell Vinyl LP"s and they have dedicated a large section to them.
The Range of music that they sell is:-
Pop and Rock, Jazz, Soul, Funk, HipHop, Rap, easy Listening, New Age, Heavy Metal, all Kinds really.
Also HMV sell audio equipment such as Record players, Speakers, earphone's, and a huge section of Figurines of famous people like Darth Vader, Deadpool, etc....
They also have a very large DVD Section of the usual DVD's and Blu-Ray DVD"s.
They also have a Section of Graphic Novels of the Avengers, Iron Man, The X-men, The Hulk, Spider-Man and DC novels such as Batman, HarleyQuin,
The Staff are very friendly and Helpful if you Require assistance.

Except, it doesn't really sell records, and it only barely sells CD's.
If you want a DVD boxed set, this is where you want to be. For everything else, just stream it or buy it online.
