There's nothing better than browsing through the racks whilst having a chat with Dave the owner. There's vinyl and Cd's etc to appeal to every taste and I never walk out empty handed without an armful of early 80's vinyl (that's 1980's you cheeky sod!!).

Music For The Soul is a goldmine of a record shop. Previously located in a tiny back room of a shop, it has since taken over the whole premises and has boxes and boxes of used and new vinyl, as well as a selection of console games (and used consoles) and a few cassettes too. It's well set out, and Dave - the proprietor - is a really friendly and helpful guy. He knows his music, and if you're looking for something in particular that he doesn't have in stock he will search for it for you. A real gem of a place in the centre of Urmston.

Great little record shop, the second hand vinyl is generally in good condition and there's a decent stock. Very reasonable selection of new Records Also sells retro games (Nintendo SNES, Atari & classic Sega)
