Paul has great knowledge about guitars could talk to him for hours he came to my address and offered to pick my guitar up too change the strings on my guitar. When got it back he set it up and played beautiful top guy. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Excellent service replacing my acoustic guitar strings from Paul. Full of experience (40 years in fact!) As a beginner guitar player, I would highly recommend for how helpful he was. Enquired in the morning, fast reply to email and was available straight away on same day by the afternoon. Very professional, knowledgeable on guitar repairs and really welcoming with making a great rapport straight away. Repair was as good as new, but or I'd say the strings felt better than new condition for my Yamaha acoustic guitar.

I dropped two neglected guitars off with Paul and he had them back to me the next day in better condition than I'd ever seen them in. He explained everything he'd done, didn't try and sell me any unneccessary frippery, and charged a very reasonable fee. My old guitars now look and sound beautiful, and I know where I'll head the next time I need any work doing on my gear!

Recently got a lovely new Schecter Apocalypse C-1 FR, but it needed a proper set-up straight out of the box. Took it to Paul and he has done a fantastic job - perfect action, fretboard oiled and Floyd Rose set-up exactly right, plus a new set of 9 gauge strings. He is now my go-to guy for any maintenance work and would highly recommend to everyone. And what he doesn't know about a Floyd Rose bridge isn't worth knowing!

First guitar I had set up by PSG was my Steve Dawson (SAXON) signature FLYING V. As part of the set up the frets were filed down a touch...so much smoother and easier to play! The guitar looked and sounded like new after the set up - what a difference! Additionally, when I collected the guitar I asked Paul about the guitars cosmetic neck damage (a lacquer crack on the back of the neck since delivery in 2019) so glad that he was able to repair this straight away with some new lacquer! The second guitar he looked at was my 90's Fender Squire Strat. After chatting about my options with Paul (he had lots of great ideas about how I could change the sound quality within my budget) I asked him to convert it into a Fender USA Stratocaster using genuine USA parts - this took less than a week and sounds AMAZING!....WOW!

Had my Ibanez Jem set up by Paul at PSG guitars as he is a whizz with Floyd rose bridges. Full restring and set up. Paul was a great bloke to deal with, very polite and quick responses. His work is excellent and my Jem has never played so well! I’ll be using him whenever I need set ups now.
