I've recorded three albums with David now, and I've had a blast every single time. He knows exactly how to get the best sound out of whatever is being recorded. He strives to get the best takes out of you, which is what you want in a good producer. If your music requires massive sounding drums and about a thousand layers of guitars and vocals, then look no further. Go record at Red City Recordings!

My band Amongst Liars have recorded our debut songs with Dave at Red City Recordings this past year. It must be the 4th time I've been back across 2 bands. When you go there you are so relaxed and everything is about the songs and making them sound the best they can be. The hands on apparoach and by taking the songs on as his own really inspires us and it gives everybody a lift. Not to mention how big the production is once everything is in place. Even before you touch down in Manchester hes asking you to send demos so he can do some ground work before the recording week and that to us shows his commitment even more so that hes putting the work in way before your in the studio. If your a rock band or any sub rock genre Dave has to be one of the best producers in UK. We honestly wouldn't want to work with anyone else. Also...he has great hair

Awesome vibe in this studio. Dave's a total legend and one of the hardest working chaps I've met. As producers go he's up there with the best, and has an arsenal of weird & wonderful production ideas, as well as some amazing gear to work with. The record he created for us is massive and sounds 100 times better than we could have hoped for. As for the studio space itself, the live room is a decent size, big enough to accommodate a full band for live tracking. Drum sound is great. The studio is pretty central with plenty of hotels, parking and amenities... pubs... etc. within walking distance. I can't recommend this studio or Dave enough. Chris ~ Plainview
