I have bought and used their (non Alcohol) cleaning fluid for a couple of years now. When used as directed can give old records found in attics and car boots sales full of static a new lease of life and a great shine. Worth ever Penny.

I didn't have time to look through everything, but the 2 for £5 bargain section was very good - lots of '70s and '80s albums. I got 4 and they were in a good variety of VG to Near Mint condition. Will definitely visit again for another rummage.

Vinyl Guru are amazing as they have a wide selection of the genre I collect (video game soundtracks on vinyl) and their delivery has been on point during lockdown. I've ordered (and pre-ordered) on 3 separate occasions and they've not disappointed. I heartily recommend them!

This is the best record shop, not just in Newcastle, but perhaps in the country! Absolutely no tat, just loads of well organised and reasonably priced new and used vinyl.. They also have a list of 'collected artists' on the front counter as these items are not on display - would have been nice to see details and prices maybe. Staff are very helpful and friendly and only wished i lived closer, but will return one day.. Maybe think about having a drinks machine available for those long browsing sessions!

Probably the pleasantest of all of Newcastle’s vinyl stores to actually browse around right now, and probably the broadest range as well. I collect mostly funk and soul stuff, and it’s especially strong in that regard. A good place to shop for any sleeves you might need as well.

Well worth the trip from Manchester to Newcastle. I shop mostly new vinyl, but they stock plenty of used, and the peripherals are excellent quality (I bought PVC sleeves).
