It took a full week for me to record the audiobook version of my new book, “Persians: the Age of the Great Kings” and during that time, COBRA Music Studios was simply superb! Hard working, detailed, supportive, knowledgable and so, so friendly, I could not have been in better hands. The post- recording support was just as good. A flawless experience.

I cannot recommend Cobra music studios enough! Really high-tech, with an engineer who knows exactly what he's doing. Jordan did a fantastic job of the recording and production, helping me a create a product I can be really proud of. Jordan is not only great at his job, he is also incredibly helpful and will bend over backwards to make sure that the finished product is highly polished and professional. If I do any more recording, it will definitely be with Jordan and Cobra Music studios, in the wonderful location of the Riverfront Theatre in Newport.

Flawless experience. The engineer (Jordan) was very professional and made my artist feel very comfortable recording her music in a new environment for the first time. Hello from Germany. My name is Astrid and I normally sing a chamber choir and musical ladies ensemble. Because of Corona I came in touch with wonderful virtual choir projects. The C.O.B.R.A Christmas project was one of my favorites. It was absolutly well organised, the team is very friendly and professional and the final video is just gorgeous. I was so proud of it, so I watched it on Christmas eve with my parents on TV and they were absolutly surprised and wanted to share it right away with all their friends. I am looking forward to further virtual singing projects in 2021 and I am wishing all of us a good time and still pleasure in music and with singing. A big "Thank you" to the C.O.B.R.A team.

First of all, Jordan is such a lovely character with a great sense of humour and puts people at their ease. My student was particularly nervous as this was her first time in a professional studio but Jordan made her feel comfortable and her recording experience was such a positive one that she is eager to return. COBRA did an amazing job putting together the City of Newport Symphony Orchestra's recent virtual project - a recording for full orchestra of "26 Song of Hope and Home" by one of our members, Stephanie Irvine. They say age should be no barrier to try something new, so at 65 years young, I decided I would like to record a few musical numbers that mean something quite special to me. Having been told about the guys at Cobra by a friend in my choir I decided to give it a go. Having booked a two hour slot, the process of getting my backing tracks to the the studio was really easy and very straightforward as were the instructions around car parking and covid compliant attendance. On the day of the session and a little on the nervous side I travelled to the studio which was really easy to get to and park. Jordan and Dean welcomed me with open arms explaining what was going to happen and putting me totally at ease. The session was great, supportive and with reviews of the performance being done as we went along with some helpful suggestions. Overall I can't praise the guys enough, really proffesional and I will probably be going back to record again at some time in the future. I would strongly recommend any individual, group or choir thinking about putting their voice out there to use Cobra.

Affinity Female Voice Choir Virtual Performances - smashed out of the park by Cobra 🙌🏻🙌🏻 It’s not been easy to be in a choir recently, as you can imagine! Not being able to meet and sing together when we needed it most was heartbreaking. But through the determination of our MD to get us zooming and the skills, talents, patience and flexibility of the boys at Cobra we have a collection of virtual performances to be extremely proud of. Thanks to Cobra we managed to put on two virtual concerts in lockdown and have some great recordings that can be enjoyed again and again.

I’ve participated in a number of ‘virtual choir’ videos which were put together by the COBRA team and have always been amazed but the quality, detail and professionalism of the videos! Dean and Jordan really seem to go the extra mile, from taking the time to give the whole choir hints and tips on home recordings during lockdown to adding special effects and personalisations on the videos. I was sat at home miserable with all the time having to be spent alone. I'd been singing with the Great British Home Chorus which had kept me going all year. Then on their site was an invitation to join COBRA for their Christmas recording of The First Noel. I clicked on the link and was sent my part. Unfortunately being rather ancient I couldn't work out how to send in my offering but they helped out and eventually I succeeded. Imagine my delight on Christmas Eve when the finished song was released and there I was singing my heart out. It took me a while to recover but it made my Christmas special.
