My 9 year old son started playing drums with Cameron this year. It was my sons idea, and we were a little concerned as we knew our son wasn't well coordinated and has since been diagnosed with ADHD and Dyspraxia. Throughout all our sons drumming lessons Cameron has been very patient and helped by breaking down things into simpler steps. Our son can now play along to a number of popular songs and really enjoys his sessions. The experience has been so good that as a Dad wanting to support him I've decided to try and learn the drums aged 50! Again Cameron is coming up with the goods with identifying ways to get the best out of me too. On top of that Cameron arranges social events to get his Drummers together which we've had great fun at. Thanks Cameron for all your patience with us and for making learning to play the Drums fun.

I decided to commence some drumming lessons for my 6 year old, Xavier and found Cameron from a google search! From the first enquiry through to now 6 months on I have been super impressed. Xavier can be quite a handful but Cameron has introduced him to the drums brilliantly. Attention, as you would expect can be challenging but Cameron’s personality, and style is wonderful for Xavier. Strong communication, professional in all aspects and very good value for money! I would certainly recommend Cameron especially for little ones just starting out.

My 5 year old grandson wanted to learn to play the drums. I had concerns he was a bit young and would struggle, However Cameron now has him playing along to AC/DC. and reading drum line music sheets. I would definitely recommend Cameron if you are considering taking up the drums

If you are looking for a drum teacher I can’t recommend Cameron enough. My 10 year old has been having lessons with Cameron for just over a year now and he absolutely loves it. He has come on so much - when he started he didn’t even know how to hold a drum stick correctly. He did brilliantly in his debut drum exam and is now ready and excited to take his grade 1. Cameron has a great teaching style which has really helped drive his passion, love and confidence for learning / playing the drums. Defo 5 stars from us!

Our son Joe, aged 8, started drum lessons with Cameron in October 2020. He had no experience, just an interest and from the very first lesson Cameron has made him feel at ease. Cameron breaks things down to simple steps that are easy to follow and he is extremely patient and encouraging. Due to the pandemic lockdown we have had both face to face and zoom based lessons, both have been effective and Joe has learnt loads in the last five months. The lessons are fun and also give us some insight to Cameron’s talent on the drums - Joe’s impressed to see what can be achieved and aspires to play like his ‘role model’. Having had Cameron recommended to me by a local musician I contacted him through his website about giving my 13 year old some instruction on drums. We went along on a Saturday for an assessment for which we were not charged and his lessons started the following Tuesday. I'm just a Dad and do not understand half of what is being said in the lesson but what I do know is that my son is really learning how to play the drums. His progress is amazing in the 6 lessons he has done so far. Cameron obviously knows his business, is patient , calm and keeps the lesson focussed and fun. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. 8 months later I cannot believe how far my son has come in 8 months, through Cameron he even got the chance to play in a live band in public. My earlier opinion has not changed, a great teacher who I highly recommend.
