I had been in contact with Martins HiFi for a few weeks. They had Selekt DSM for sale. I haven't been able to get a demo of anything due to Covid, but as regulations relaxed I was able to visit and audition a bargain. I took my own Majik 109s, since they were in short supply. And a superb demo followed. Quite apart from the Selekt DSM itself, which sounded excellent, Steve walked me through the capability and set-up with what could be achieved with this unit. I toured the mechanical details, and I was very happy with my choice. So I decided to purchase. I live 150 miles away from Martins HiFi. Because of their friendliness and knowledge, I didn't mind a 300mile round trip to see them, get a super bit of Linn kit and then to return home with it. The pinnacle of the visit was watching Steve wrestle with the box and packaging, which needs a university degree qualification to repack it - funny. Super demo, lovely hospitality, good advice and I even picked up some great tips for tunes to expand my vinyl collection. Super dealership. Thoroughly recommended.

Popped into Martins yesterday and spent about half an hour with Marcus who was the font of all audio knowledges. Highly jealous of a hi-go set up Santa brought our daughter this Christmas I too wanted to jump back into vinyl after years of synthetic, digital streaming. We very quickly decided on the B&W 607 S5s anniversary edition paired with a British made Rega IO amp and a Rega Planar 1 turntable. The sound is incredible!! We have sonos in the house and it’s good but not like this. To me this is the difference between reading a book and kindle, a loved and lived in leather jacket or a vegan leather one. I was so glad to part with my hard earned shiny ones to a highly reputable, local independent. I would highly recommend Marcus and the team for all and any of your HIFI needs from an £8 RCA cable to a full blown custom set up of over £200k! They literally cover all bases! For you audiophiles out there, yes I’ll be repositioning the speakers once we’ve got Christmas out the way! Super stoked 🤜💥 🎵

I visited Martins Hi-Fi earlier today, what a showroom, it was like being a kid in a sweet shop! I have a viewing booked to listen to some REL T7's in the listening room. I was met by Ian, who makes a lovely cuppa, nice one Ian! My meeting was with Steve Forrest, i have to say, what this person doesn't know, probably isn't worth knowing! I sat in the listening room for around an hour, listening to music, and discussing various music related topics. I have come away a very happy bunny, and know I need to part with some cash on these beautiful sounding pieces of audio equipment. Nice on Ian & Steve, will look forward to seeing you both in the not too distant!

Since the demise of a certain other Norwich shop, this is +the+ mid and high end hifi place to go in Norwich. There are a couple of others a few miles away, but this is the best. The customer service is second to none, the knowledge the guys here have is amazing too. Demo room is wonderful. And they're totally happy too if you just want to browse and admire the kit. Highly recommended.

Jack at Martin's Hi-Fi was really helpful to us. We were very unfamiliar with these new technologies, but Jack guided us through and recommended an ideal system for our needs. An hour after delivery we were listening to a beautiful and delicate delicate sound. The whole process could not have been better.

Having previously installed a comprehensive audio/visual system in our home (which at the time we thought was a good quality & well designed set of products), after 4 years we began to experience operational and reliability problems, which the original installer attempted to resolve. After several attempts (& escalating costs) it became clear that there were some very FUNDAMENTAL FLAWS in the original installation. In frustration we decided to approach Martins Hi-Fi because many years earlier, in another property they had supplied and installed an Audio System which had performed superbly over many years. We didn't initially use Martins for the installation in our current property as they were a more expensive option and we thought the chosen installer seemed very capable. Martin's listened very carefully to our concerns, visited our home and provided us with a clear report on the shortcomings of our problematic installation (at no time condemning the previous company but simply saying we had got what we had paid for!!) We were then provided with a range of options, covering ease of operation, quality of performance and future flexibility. Having made our choice, the new installation has been installed to an exceptional level of neatness and freedom from exposed wiring and most importantly, by 2 impressively knowledgeable and patient engineers. We are still learning each day how to get more & more out of our new system and experiencing superb quality both in audio & visual terms - and best of all - the system is controlled from a single remote. I summarise by quoting the old saying "Quality remains long after the price is forgotten". In these times, it is a wonderful experience to discover a genuine "centre of excellence".

Marcus has patiently assisted me for years, from a top of the range, very high specification top of the range reference multi room multimedia project, down to a simple soundbar. The technical team are brilliant, true experts and really friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. I am particularly grateful to Kevin and Richard for super support over many years. Martins HiFi are my top recommended “go to” company for anything home entertainment. They have a “try before you buy” sound and video set up room in store. I trust these guys.
