Joe has been teaching my 10yr old every other week for the past year and is brilliant with kids. I hear them laughing and enjoying the lessons. My son has come along so far playing the drums to various rock and pop songs. Joe is patient and supports him. They are currently working towards grading and learning new songs that he will be performing in October (recording studio). With Joe’s support in learning the drums my lad played his first gig in June playing drums to demons and seven nation army to perfection in front of the whole school at the school BBQ. If your looking for a brilliant teacher who is patient and makes lessons fun I would recommend Joe all day long, he works with the child’s strengths and interests when teaching.

Joe has been my Drum Teacher since I first touched a Drum kit at the age of 8. I have had sessions regularly for the past five years, from learning the names of the basic parts of the Drum kit to being able to record my grade 6 pieces on a mac, and I have used these skills at school I am learning Rockschool at present, and once we are past grade 8, I will progress to Jazz and other styles, as Joe teaches all of these as well. Joe is really thorough and patient in the lessons. He teaches and plans his lessons so they are fun, and also sets me practice tasks so I can repeat what I have been taught. I think Joe rocks!!!!

We have been using Joe for a couple of years now for both our children's music lessons. I have one son who does drums and one who does guitar. Joe is such a good teacher and works really well with my children who both have different needs. Both my boys have learned some much with him and it's definitely down to his great teaching style. Thank you for all the help you’ve been given me to learn to play drums! Your patience is incredible and you took the time to make sure I understand the beats and how to play the drums. In a short amount of time with Joe i have learnt some basic beats but also some really interesting ones which allowed to progress further in my own time and book extra session for more intermediate lesson. Not only you’re a great teacher but you’re also a very kind, fun and patient to be around ! Thank you ! I highly recommend Joe for his professionalism, knowledge, patience and friendliness!
