Lovely record store/cafe, a very reasonably priced range of coffee and great selection of records. Plus, the store being air conditioned is a blessing when the weather is almost 40°c as I write. Over all, worth paying a visit if your in the area 😊

Great store packed to the ceiling with stock, Dinked editions, 2nd hand vinyl and some great limited releases. Lovely young lady on the occasion I visited, she was very knowledgeable and generally nice. Take your time, have a coffee and get digging into their delicious vinyl.. CD's too!!

Absolutely brilliant little retro record shop and coffee shop!! Just make sure you help these lot out by buying a coffee or 2 or 3 (especially if you are working on your laptop inside - it’s only fair). Great coffee, albeit the slightly phalic coffee art, which made us laugh (see image) as for the shop if you collect and listen to records this is the shop for you!!! Absolutely brilliant selection, and occasionally you see some absolute gems perform here off the cuff (with the o2 just down the road - you can imagine!!!). Love this place, relaxing and cosy!!! Highly recommend!!!

An excellent coffee shop in Oxford. It's got a great vibe, the coffee is always fantastic. It serves cakes and other baked goods which are delicious, but I like it for the intimate space and the fact that it's located in a record store too. I recommend it to everyone I know - you should too.

Understood the various intricacies of a cup of tea - let it brew a while before giving it to me, asked if teabag should be in or out, and let me pour the milk for right amount. That's a proper cup of tea. Also nice to use the hatch on side of building when pushing a pram and not wanting to faff about going inside.

Best coffee and cakes in Oxford and also the most wonderful staff who really take their time and energy to engage with customers about music. In addition they support the local music scene so well and really have their hearts and minds devoted to making the place feel warm and cosy and with a bit of a hipsters on laptops co-working feel. Unfortunately it's so popular that you might struggle sometimes to find a place to sit, but people are often happy to share a table. The soundtracks are always stellar and you can even buy record players direct from the shop.

Had some lovely green tea here - the quality is excellent. The staff are super friendly - amongst the best on the Crowley Road. The cafe part of the store is small and cosy. In a sea of cafés these days, this little indie is well worth your support.

Such a great shop. When you walk in you are amazed by amounts of vinyl you see, it's very nicely organised, there's great music in the air and whats's better, the shop is sharing the premises with a café where you can drink tasty coffe while enjoying the atmosphere. The staff of the record shop were also very nice, when I had ordered a vinyl by them, in two days time I had it in my hands. Amazing place certainly worth a visit.

The wife and I love coffee and so visited the Truck Store for its beans rather than its vinyl, but we absolutely loved it. The coffee (even a decaf) was fantastic, tasted as good as it smelled and the barista was very impressively friendly considering he was working at 4:30pm on a Saturday, he was very happy to accommodate our questions and brought over our coffee and tap waters. The vinyl/CD store vibe meant that it felt very relaxed and the music was a good selection. 10/10 will visit again next time we're in Oxford!

Nice place, like the record selection, the background music is great and the coffees are good. It's a bit small, a bit hard to get to and from your seat, and it'd be nice if there was a vegan cake, biscuit or sweet option available in the future :)

It's a cosy place, huge collection, you could spend hours searching for a vinyl or CD. It's nice how they mixed a record shop with a small cafe. Very good attention from part of the staff, it's definitely a place you should go.

Awesome record shop that reminds me of shops in the States. They have local records as well which is cool if you wanna tap into whats going on in the local scene. If you want to sit down and enjoy existance, you can do so at their coffee bar area. Overall a cool atmosphere, I would highly recomend if you’re visiting.

Obviously you're going to be paying high street prices for vinyls (mostly new releases) but the atmosphere is so relaxing and this is a wonderful little hideaway with delicious coffee to work in. And I always end up coming away with something under my arm.

Friendly staff with a good knowledge of what they have in stock. Well organised stock of new records (both classic albums and modern releases) all relatively competitively priced if compared to online stores. The second hand records are reasonable in terms of stock, prices and selection although I personally found their new record selection to be broader and more appealing to my varied personal tastes. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Oxford and I happily bought two records there. The coffee, brownies and staff at the café in-store could not have been any kinder or more professional. [They stock a great deal of CDs although I did not browse through them and based the review on my first and only visit to the Truck Store]

At the heart of Oxford's music scene, this record store offers regular small gigs, launch events and live play-throughs of new records. Good selection of vinyl including short run and limited editions along with CDs, t-shirts and all the usual trimmings. Well-curated selection of second hand CDs and vinyl, comprehensive local band section. Excellent coffee and tasty cakes provided by the Mostro coffee collective. Essential shopping stop-off on Oxford's famous Cowley Road, pick up music, tickets for local gigs, and local music free papers including Nightshift.

A nice way to shop for music, speak to real experts on local bands and who are also passionate about music, while you are there have a coffee with home made cakes, and then back to browsing and finding those collectable cd's. Only about 10 minutes walk from the city center, so you can feel the real buzz of Oxford.

Have to express my disappointment as of late. This shop used to have some really great indie CD's from artists like Toro Y Moi and Ariel Pink and now it seems that they've chosen to expand on more pre-owned records instead... what happened to representing the indie scene?
