I started dealing with ewan about two years ago, I have always found him to be friendly helpful and happy to offer advice, it is nice to deal with a business where when you walk in you are greeted by someone who knows your first name. he usually has a good selection of new and used instruments as well as all the parts and strings needed to keep your guitar in good order. I enjoy any excuse to visit the shop for a chat and check out the latest stock.

I have bought a guitar and a Ukulele from Ewan's GTR shop, and his gentle polite demeanor make the customer feel most welcome. It keeps me going back for my accessories, and see Ewan giving my son guitar lessons too. With these lessons my son has learned many new methods of exploiting the guitar, and getting the most out of his time spent in the lessons. Again Ewan's gentle, warm and encouraging approach has worked wonderfully in teaching a teenage boy how to use many different techniques and to give him more confidence when he plays. I've known Ewan for around two years and always found him to be both friendly and knowledgeable. Before I got to know Ewan I always compared his prices (my purchases included a Blackstar amplifier and a Vox multi-effects pedal) with discounted websites and found them no cheaper. Plus when you buy from Ewan you have access to his (20 odd?) years of experience and will be sure what you've bought fits your needs. There aren't many guitar shops left so we're lucky to have such a good one here in Peterborough selling everything you need from a pick to the finest Martin acoustic guitar!
