Really Good Records is one of my favourite shops in Plymouth. So much selection to choose from and the owner is so helpful. I very rarely leave without adding something to my collection. This is probably one of the best record shops I have ever visited in terms of levels and quality of stock along with fairness of prices.

Amazing shop! Some pretty good finds in there for some really great prices. Loads of new and used vinyl for really reasonable prices, the owner was really nice and knowledgeable about everything! Definitely coming back soon!

I visited the shop in August 2019. Really nice selection of vinyl. Ended-up buying several lps all in great condition and reasonably priced. Very friendly and knowledgeable owner too. Highly recommended!

This is a veritable treasure trove for vinyl lovers. Best bit is what a great chat you can have about music. Records are all great clean condition with new inner sleeves and the prices are really sensible (non of your 25 quid for a new pressing which is probably digitally mastered anyway!)

Brilliant shop, great selection, the man that runs it is spot on. Overheard me talking about an album and had it ready for me before I got to the till. Couldn't be happier. If you live near, use this shop. Don't use it and you'll lose it.

Great staff. Friendly and very helpful, knowledgeable and experienced. Very well organised with genres and record labels clearly identified and having their own sections. Easy to stumble across records that you desire and rare hidden gems alike. You can try out records by popping on the record player provided in the corner and listen through some headphones and you can suggest any record and the staff will often come back a few weeks later with it. Highly Recommended

Superb shop. Great staff who know their music. If you are selling to the shop the price offered will be reasonable and not an attempt to pay as little as possible for them to make as much as possible. If you are buying then prices are below Internet quotes. You know it is a did shop when well known producers have travelled from places like Bristol and Birmingham just to shop here.

The shop is above a bus station. Don't be fooled by the front if it says it's open it is. It has the appearance of a porn shop. Don't be put off. When I entered it was crammed full of quality vinyl. The shop is well organised and the owner was very helpful. They only buy quality unscratched discs. The discs are cleaned and look loved. Unlike lots of other shops I frequent. I asked the guy if he had any other material from the band I collect. He said if it wasn't too busy for me to return later and he'd see what he could find. I didn't have time to return but made arrangements through PayPal to have the records sent to me. I rate the shop highly. Go visit crate diggers.

Not bought a duff album from here. Everything, from the more expensive rock and pop classics to the bargain bin best ofs to the Sinatra and blues/ jazz has played like a dream. In here at least once a week. Always come away with something.

Kleiner, gut besuchter und relativ gut sortierter Plattenladen. Im Angebot war hauptsächlich Rock (viel 70er) etwas Pop, Subgenres wie Indie, Alternativ, Punk, Goth in einzelnen Kisten. Die Platten (Neu - und Gebrauchtware) waren in gutem Zustand, die Preise größtenteils angemessen. Der Besitzer war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir durften uns in sein WLAN/WiFi einwählen, da wir mit unseren Mobiltelefonen keinen Internetempfang hatten und deswegen nicht prüfen konnten, welche Platten wir evtl. schon haben. Wer Platten sammelt und in Plymouth ist, sollte auf jeden Fall bei Really Good Records vorbeischauen. (Translated) Small, busy and relatively well stocked record store. The offer was mainly rock (a lot of 70s), some pop, subgenres like indie, alternative, punk, goth in individual boxes. The records (new and used) were in good condition and the prices were mostly reasonable. The owner was very nice and helpful. We were allowed to dial into his WLAN/WiFi because we didn't have internet reception with our mobile phones and therefore couldn't check which records we might already have. Anyone who collects records and is in Plymouth should definitely stop by Really Good Records.
