I had a number of recording sessions with Graeme in May and June this year, and found them to be rewarding, creative and thoroughly enjoyable. In addition to a degree in music technology, Graeme has a real ear/feel for the music, a relaxing manner, and was very encouraging throughout, and it made for a very useful experience for me. When back in Reading, I expect to use the studio again. A very high recommendation.

A session with Graeme at Silver street studios = Mastery of Music Technology and a re-assuring and intuitive host to take you on your journey. Mixing is a complex beast and Graeme is a mathematician of music so you all your issues with Equalisation, compression , effects are solved quickly. He used to teach music technology and that's noticeable as he explains each process in detail throughout the session. Couldn't believe my luck! Well done Graeme Viva Silver street `studios!

Thanks so much to Spencer for providing such a great session for my Dad last night. We ended up managing to record 8 songs and it's been amazing listening to the cd today. Spencer was very thoughtful and gave some extremely constructive feedback - hold the last chord! Probably Reading's friendliest studio. Chris who runs the place is lovely and very helpful. Good equipment for rehearsing, but where they really shine is recording. The aftercare and help during the sessions is second to none. If you need an evening suave to rehearse or are looking to lay down an EP I can't think of anywhere better to go to first.

Absolutely fantastic set of masters from Umair at Silver Street - a great price as well and a really rapid response from first mail to finished product. We just had to drop WAV mixes to an online file sharing service and a couple of days later we got the masters back - all communication was clear and friendly and we'll definitely be using Silver Street again.

We record all our records here and then Umair Chaudhry mixes and masters them here. It's bloody great is why. Great sounding room; cracking mics and pres; lovely Soundcraft desk and Adam monitors; crazy professor ears on Umair; very good coffee machine and the garden is luxx. Even our unremittingly awful music sounds grrrreat!
