Very nice experience, gave me good advice and options and allowed me to sit and play the guitars for a while so i could get a good feel for them. The money i received for selling my guitar was not what i was hoping for but i do understand that the business needs to be making money. Excellent service, would highly recommend if you are looking for a guitar or an amp. Also had a some beautiful banjos in there if thats something you are interested in.

In response to your review, I would like to be clear on the facts. You came into my shop on Friday 10 February and told me you had recently purchased an Ibanez RG350 from another shop, for which you paid £220. You stated you were not happy with it, as you were having problems with the tremolo unit and wanted to either swap or sell the guitar to me. I suggested that if you had a problem with your guitar, you should return it to the shop you purchased it from and ask them to either rectify, replace or refund you. You then stated that you had been back to the shop but they were unwilling to do anything to help. You said you would bring your Ibanez in for me to have a look at the following day but in the meantime, I did some research not only on Gumtree, but also Ebay and the internet in general. There was an Ibanez RG350 on Gumtree for £160 which was £60 cheaper than yours and not £160 cheaper, as you state in your review. Anyway, having second thoughts about your guitar I decided as there were problems with it, I would not want to proceed with any transaction, hence the reason when you brought your guitar in on Saturday, I no longer wanted to see it. You were not happy at the time and left, only to phone me later in the day demanding to know why I did not want to buy or PX your guitar. To get things straight, why would I lie to you, as I had no intention of doing business with you? Your issue is with the shop you purchased your guitar from and not with Music-X-change.

Sorry you had a problem with the SG you purchased on Friday 10th April. All our used guitars come with a "6 month warranty", according to your post you were going to return the guitar to us the following day Sat 11th so we could sort out any issues, you have not made any contact with the shop by phone or in person since your purchase on Friday? I have known this shop and it’s owner for more than 10 years. I have both bought and sold items with him and have always had an excellent,polite and knowledgeable service. I now live over 100 miles away but still use this shop every time as I feel the service cannot be beaten by a chain store. Keep up the good work as a great independent place.

Reasonable prices and very good service, especially seeing how I must've gone in there about 5 times in 3 days asking about stuff. Owner seems like a nice bloke. Very happy with my purchase, would (and have in-fact) recommend to a friend.
