I have been having lessons with Gavin for around six months now and would highly recommend him as a first class teacher. My playing has come on in leaps and bounds along with my confidence flying high so wherever you are in your learning journey give Gavin a call if you'd like some additional expert tuition.

I've really enjoyed my lessons with Gavin so far. He is a really friendly & patient teacher, and I felt at ease straight away. I have learned so much in a relatively short time, have felt encouraged to practise and look forward each week to my next lesson. Gavin has tailored the lessons to my needs and provides great learning materials. One hour lessons with Gavin (most do half hour) mean you can cover things in lots of detail. One of my life time ambitions was to play the guitar i am 60yrs old , off and on over the last 45 yrs never getting past go I tried the early days tutor books that were around at the time, just could not understand them, you need a book to understand the book! type of feeling, tapes cds same results as the books getting nowhere, yes youtube great but really there is nobody really there to stop you correct you and you only get what has been loaded up ok questions can be asked but how long for the answer decided to try a tutor first lesson told gavin about my eye sight problem had a knock about he quickly worked out what level was best for me and arranged a 2nd lesson when i arrived an enlarged song sheet was all printed set up and ready to start!!!! before the end of the 2nd lesson half way through my first song !!!!!! NEED I SAY ANYMORE
