T.I can't recommend this store more for buying/selling retro games. The owner Pete is absolutely wonderful and really goes out of his way for his customers. I have sold quite a few games to retro games hq over the past few years, and I can say that Pete has been absolutely amazing! He is very knowledgeable and will do the research to get the fairest prices. This will definitely be my go to store in future when I need to buy or sell games. Absolutely amazing!

The owner Pete is amazing, he knows his stuff and is a big fan of retro games. He's always willing to help and you couldn't ask for better customer service. The shop has an incredible array of retro games and consoles for sale at great prices.
They've expanded the shop in recent years and it now has an amazing extra area upstairs that has some freeplay arcade cabinets as well.
You can't really ask for more.
W.Amazing range of games from any generation! The owner is very nice and knows his stuff, prices are very competitive. The only thing I would say is some of the games I purchased were dirty, nothing giant but for someone who likes to collect games it can be slightly annoying.
Overall, I would 100% recommend this place, one of the only retro game places in Swindon and they’re exceptional!
R.I found some old items that had been hidden away for years and were no longer required. I spoke with Pete to understand exactly what I had and the value. Pete did some research, informed me of his findings and made me an offer based on photographs and, having done some of my own research, I realised the offers were fair. I could have maybe got a little more taking the eBay route, but I really didn't want the hassle and Pete had been really helpful, to the point that I wanted to do a deal with him. Pete came across as really honest and genuine, a very likeable chap and I would happily recommend him, whether it be buying or selling. It was also interesting to see so many items in his shop, a real nostalgia trip! If you are like me and not really knowing what you have or its value or, if you are a collector, I would certainly point you in the direction of Retro Games HQ and Pete. Also good to support small family run businesses.

C. N.Brilliant. If you love retro video games - this is the shop for you. My son & I visited the shop on Friday & were taken aback with the huge selection of games & consoles they had to offer. Great prices too.
The three arcade machines are a brilliant addition and were a great hit with my son - who has never play on these types of machines. Pete was so kind to him and changed out the games so he could have a try on different titles.
Thanks Pete, for your time that day & treating my son so well. I wish all shops were like this..
