Great record store. Rupert knows his stuff and is friendly. Bought many records here. Last one was Electric Wizard. If your into a real vinyl experience then this is it.

What a great shop. I've been trawling the record shops of the North West for months, and this one has the best selection I've seen yet. A little bit of everything really. I'm really into indie, especially American indie and hardcore. I could have spent hundreds. As it was, I found two records I've been after for months. The owner is really friendly. While I was there he helped a couple find some old rock records to frame for a present. It's a bit out of the way, but well worth a trip out to Frodsham for. I'll be going back regularly.

Wow! I am actually surprised there are no reviews here. This shop has been a staple part of building my record collection over the last 3-4 years. Paying a visit most lunchtimes during work and as often as possible. The owner Rupert is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all genres of music, labels, pressings, etc and on top of this he is also a top bloke, fair on his prices and has introduced me to numerous bands broadening my musical horizons. I hope Convoy Records continues for many years to come!

I feel compelled to update my review. Still the best used record store i've been to in the Merseyside /Cheshire region. It's got to the point now that I don't even check the vinyl as the pricing is always spot on for the condition, which is important to myself as i don't have an unlimited disposable income! My modest record collection is all the better for Convoy, it's a rare treat to be able to dig through the racks. I just wish I had both more time and money!

I have driven over to Convoy Records a couple of times recently and it was well worth the visit,a really good selection with prices to suit everyone starting from £5 ! I picked up two Paul Weller albums, a little more than £5 but in mint condition really pleased,highly recommended. Steve Kenyon 1985 Great North Run winner.

A good selection of sensibly priced stuff. I could easily have spent £100 there but unfortunately they dont accept card payments. Get into the 21st century and you might do better !
