I do love a good old fashioned customer focussed retail experience and Phil at Mann Hifi delivers in spades. His expertise and passion for great sounding music are obvious and he is prepared to spend some time understanding your requirements. When I had a follow up issue with the Leak 130 and CDT I purchased from him he was happy to offer a solution and deliver a replacement without hesitation. Absolutely first class service - support your local hifi store!

I have looking to buy a system after getting back into vinyl. I googled local places and found Mannhifi. I went to visit Phil’s shop in The Tything in Worcester and was given some very good advice and recommendations by Phil who clearly knows his stuff. After some additional research I returned and purchased a Rega Planar P2 turntable, Rega io amp and Dali Spektor 2 speakers, of which I am very pleased with. Can’t recommend enough. Keep it local! I visited Mann Hifi as I needed to get a turntable working and I was unsure what to purchase. I am so glad I went because Phil was incredibly helpful and demonstrated a number of amps for me. I bought a Rega amp and some Wharfedale speakers, which I was able to take away on the day, and which he kindly set up for me. I was really pleased with my purchases which were competitively priced and sound amazing. I was also able to buy some vinyl whilst I was there. I would definitely use Mann Hifi again as it was nice to be able to discuss my requirements in person with someone knowledgeable and not have to wait in all day for an internet delivery for something that would probably not have been appropriate for my needs.

A few months ago I contacted maybe six Rega stockists/ specialists via phone and email, and Mann’s was the only one who responded. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to chat, without pushing you down any particular path nor sounding like a ‘used car salesman’. A very satisfied customer! We visited MannHiFi to add a streamer to our old HiFi. Following Phil’s recommendation we ended up adding a Bluesound Node. We were able to listen to the Node on various speakers in the shop with very low (zero) pressure salesmanship. Having listened to the streamer in the shop and then at home we decided to update our 21 year old amp and speakers. More sampling in the shop, and we ended up with very nice new system, including all the cables, at a cost possibly even better than shopping online, but with the benefit of expert knowledge and experience. Excellent service from Phil Mann at mannhifi.i had an old hifi system that I wanted to update . Phil came out and assessed my system giving sound advice about what could be retained and what needed replacing. The advice was clear ,helpful and informed by experience and knowledge. Phil set up my new system incorporating the retained units that didn't need replacing. I am very happy with the quality of the sound it produces . It was refreshing to get such a positive customer experience in a friendly informed way .

The owner, Phil, is friendly, helpful and honest. The speakers I bought were exactly as described and I am loving them. Phil was very knowledgeable about them and I'm sure he is equally so about all the things he sells. From my brief time in the shop, I can say it is nice and stocked with some nice equipment to suit all budgets. The overall experience at independent hifi shops like this, where they are passionate about hifi is always lovely. I would highly recommend MANNHIFI and you'll get great service. Free parking directly outside the premises for 45 minutes too, so please support this local, independent business.

I first contacted Phil after being a bit disappointed with my local hifi dealer. Phi was brilliant from the off arranging a home demo of a pair of Fyne Audio F -15 speakers I wanted to hear, and a loan of a Rotel amp. The speakers were brilliant and just what I was looking for. He gave me a great deal on the speakers and a pair of stands. He even drove a 30 mile round trip to bring me my new ones when they arrived! Excellent service with great knowledge. I would certainly recommend Phil and Mann HiFi to anyone looking for help and equipment.

As soon as Phil learned this he let me know and very generously offered to lend us his pair of the same speakers while we await delivery. This is my second experience of Mann Hifi having previously purchased a vinyl system for my daughter. On this occasion I wanted to replace my ageing amplifier and speakers and had a few models in mind together with some recommendations from Phil. Over a two week period I tried them all in the comfort of my own lounge, on two occasions Phil actually delivered them to my door, where else can you get personal service like that?! He is an absolute top guy and a pleasure to chat with and share experiences. You really must give this little gem of a shop a visit. One word...Brilliant!!

My husband was tasked with setting up a Hi Fi system for a friend. He was favouring Rega and had chosen the Rega P3 Elys 2 with a Rega Neo power supply and a Rega Brio Amp. He spoke with Phil Mann about the speakers he was considering and Phil suggested the Dali Oberons - a little more expensive but worth it! Phil kindly offered to trial the set up with both sets of speakers. We do not live locally and he said he would give us his opinion. He told us that the Dalis were far superior and so the decision was made - as it happened the Dalis were slightly smaller and neater and so would look better in the space allocated. Our fiends had decided on the Atacama Evoque Eco Natural Bamboo four tier stand and my husband was expecting to source this himself, however, Phil could get this for us - brilliant. Phil's prices were also very reasonable and fair. He met us at his store outside opening hours and we loaded the boxes. My husband set the system up for my friends and they are delighted - both with the sound and the look. When we left the next day it was already bedding in and sounding even better. It is a pleasure to deal with Phil - his expertise, advice and efficient friendly service are invaluable. We do not have a good Hi Fi store locally and so we are envious of the folk in Worcester who have access to this gem.

I have been into Mannhifi a few times now, most recently to look through the selection of vinyl albums there. I ended up buying a few albums (see photo) together with some vinyl record cleaner, Vinyl Kleen. The Vinyl Kleen kit works great but, if you have alot of records to clean like me, I would recommend getting some more microfibre cloths from Halfords. I cleaned my records on a table covered with newspaper & spraying 2 areas direct onto the record & using 1 cloth to wipe & 1 cloth to polish. Phil, the owner has a wide selection of hifi equipment and we purchased the Rega Planer 1 turntable together with an amp & speakers about a month ago. Phil also has bluetooth steaming equipment if you want to listen to digital music. A great little shop packed with equipment for starters & enthusiasts alike.
