Good venue, seems to have a few rooms and stages of various sides. Attended a very small concert on the smaller side. We appreciated the seating option which was slightly raised above the standing room. Good drinks and fun.
D. D.
In for a concert. Queue was well managed and moved quickly. They were a bit light on bar staff but those who were working did their best to get everyone served.
They do two pint (plastic) glasses if you don't want to have to go up to the bar as often.
Saw the Undertones and there were people who needed crutches at the start and were dancing by the end. Or else someone stole their crutches.
J. M.
Saw Frank Turner tonight and he was amazing. The limelight is a fab venue, I always love it when I visit. I even contacted them beforehand to see if I could get a stool because of an injury, and I got a perfect view 😍

First live gig back since the pandemic and what better than rocking out to Chris Jericho and FOZZY!! Great night and have to say my mind is blown by your 'Two pint cups'!! Finally the end to walking around with two pints trying not to spill them!!
a. c.
The dualers were amazing but the venue it refused entry to many people and waiting over an hour at the bar that was half the gig already gone
G.
Travelled here from The Mourne's for Anna's Number sell out concert. Superb venue and excellent acoustics. Great stage and atmosphere. Go to gigs all over the country and this is firmly now one of my favourite venues. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the bar staff worked really hard all night in a sold out gig. Brilliant.
D. C.
Great night at the Mission, acoustics was brilliant
C. S.
Energy was off the charts. DJ hit all the right spots and the drinks were the best price I’ve seen in all of the UK for a club. 100% recommend for active night life
G. H.
Went for the Iron Maiden afterparty. Music was good, loads of space in the venue. Takes forever to get a drink, I'm talking 20 minutes to half an hour each time. They do double pints which I would recommend if you are a fast drinker, but they get warm if you dont chug it down.
T. C.
May be the best sounding venues I've ever seen gigs in. Unbelievable sound quality. Steve vai last night the sound was perfect. My favourite music venue.
M. N.
Excellent gig King Kong Company they deserve 5 stars as they blew us away they were amazing! .... but venue bit sticky floored and made band finish too soon for their paying nightclub for which we would have had to have paid again IF we decided to remain on (despite paying big bucks for gig) - we didn't!
g. a.
The vibe was extraordinary. However, learned my lesson to not order 'fun drinks' anymore as I received three small shots of Bailey and nearly paid for the whole bottle, if I were to buy it outside.
H. C.
Great service at the bar bit dark at first but then when Martin Kemp came on he lit the room up. His 80s music was great and good crowd.
K. D.
Bar staff were friendly and efficient. But the staff at the end of our live music were rude, un-accommodating and give a poor impression of how your venue is run
S. M.
One of my favourite spots in Belfast specially for live concerts! Staff are always very pleasant and the place is well looked after.
J. H.
Magic night John lydon Public Image limited bloody Class support act Class to.
R.
Always great for a gig should it be a DJ, band or a show.
J. M.
Nice nightclub with mostly college crowd. Can get very crowded when students aren’t on break. Nice drink specials .
K. v. d. B.
Such a nice venue: attended the soundcheck of Skids in Limelight 2 and in the evening stood front row in Limelight 1 with Dea Matrona.
G. M.
Nice place. Went to see the darkness there. 2 pint glasses and sticky floors. Proper rock venue!
C. W.
Been there a-lot before but first time being there dir an event was great seen Creed Bratton and it was a-lot of fun
K. R.
Went to see for the umpteenth time King Kong Company on. 19th March. They were as usual in top form. My only greiviance is the very short amount of time the performance lasted. An hour estimate . Left with mixed emotions... ecstatic at what id seen but let down by the duration of the performance
S. B.
Great small venue for gigs! Capacity levels were great also, not too packed at all for a sold out gig!
D.
I do like Katys bar. Nice seats, and pretty casual. I think the bar on the right is way overrated though. Often so overpacked, lousy service, and makes me claustrophobic. Also overly loud music. Bouncers are also insufferable, and make it seem you should be so privileged to walk into their bar. Arguably the most overrated bar in Belfast imo.
Z. S.
Really really had fun during the Lany concert and had fun dancing and drinking at Katy's Pub @ Limelight! Felt that the security is doing their job really well and felt safe when we were having fun there.
T. P.
You can have a brilliant night out here but most likely it’ll be ruined by the bouncers. They tend to be difficult and cause hassle for no particular reason, and can only be described as unprofessional
J. h.
I really enjoyed the live music, staff were pleasant. All standing where live music is, so be prepared if you have mobility problems.
B. K.
Absolutely packed but Martin Kemp was fantastic great nite out
S. C.
claire and jen really helped me whenever i was very drunk, they are absolutely lovely beautiful girls and made me feel so comfortable, i really recommend these ladies when you use limelight, i would consider them sisters.
S. G.
Limelight 2 is a pretty sweet venue that has hosted bands including the strokes, manic Street Preachers and plenty more. It has a rock and roll night club feel including Marshall amp decor.
E. M.
Great club for gigs less than 1000 people
P. D.
Mega pints of heverlee brilliant. Price not so much. £11.20
M. H.
Its simply the best venue for a gig. Unparalleled
m. m.
Best bits- double pints and pretty red head bouncer
K.
Fun club, alcohol is reasonably priced and the place is always clean and tidy. Staff are always pleasant. Tends to attract certain types of people, if you know what I mean though. Keep your eyes open and youll have a great night
W. S.
Quality venue! Small, nicely presented, good sound & efficient bar staff!
D. C.
Good beer selection and music. Atmosphere was good and staff were good. Only critical point was that there weren't enough bar staff on duty for the anticipated crowd.
E. P.
Friendly staff and well managed for gigs. Bar is a bit too busy and takes ages to get served.
J. A.
Great comedians and incredible atmosphere!
S. M.
Staff and bouncers were friendly. Having the new extension on the back is a great add on to adapting to the ever changing times. Always have a great time when I’m there. Only thing let’s it down is the limited beers they serve and not having Apple Pay as a payment option on the app.
J. M. (.
Gig was excellent. Very limited service at the bar, couldn't get in next door afterwards, obviously very busy but felt rushed out of the place. Was supposed to have a drink with the performer who said he'd catch us afterwards.
D. B.
Best venue for live gigs and rock music every Saturday night! 3 venues, include limelight 1 formally known as spring & air break, Katy Dailies & Limelight 2.
If live gigs and rock music are your thing then this is the place for you!
J. M.
Great wee bar/club ect...only problem I've had with this place over the years is - so many ppl seem to come to gigs here, just to talk and ruin the experience for everyone else.. it's a shame as this place has some top quality band on regularly
A. T.
Great club and what a great night ... All staff great except 1 of the bar staff .. a guy prob in his early 30s , glasses on and prob 6 ft ... Had a serious aditude problem . This was mentioned to me by quite a few people on the night
A. G.
The bar has plenty drinks to offer, the venue is great for shows, I've been several times, the atmosphere is fantastic. I was last there to see Inside The Ropes with Bret Hart and it was a great night
M. G.
Great venue for live gig.
A. M.
well ran with good sound. went here to see "Steve Vai" and the sound was amazing
M. R. D.
Seen Kevin Hart, was unreal wish I was young again so I could go clubbing. Nice spot
S. K.
I found this place very grimey. The bar staff was odd, pleasant but odd. Very slow service.
M. K.
Iconic venue. Saw Charlatans. Great concert. What's with all the mops, however?! Staff gone mad with mopping up even in the middle of gig. Very annoying/distracting. Weird!
p. r.
Public Image Limited live, amazing. Nothing else needs to be said.
G. A.
Very good but could use some extra bar staff to be served swifter. Sticky floor is always a turn off but understandably cannot always be prevented. I would rate higher but the door staff are horrible and have a very poor reputation.
V. S.
Nice big dance floor with live DJ music. Multiple bar counters. Very lively and get to see good crowd.
S. C. (. C. C.
Great live music venue! One of the places to be in Belfast.
w. k. m.
I remember when I was in uni we used to go there every day.it’s amazing place for night out takes so long to get into it with long queues but what do you do when you know you are going to have amazing night thanks
B. H.
Ugly Kid Joe epic night of rock !!!!
T. D.
Another great night seeing the amazing Steve Vai
B. G.
First visit to see stone foundation last night. Really impressed by venue. Great sound system and friendly staff
M. M.
Nice wee nightclub but taking 2 stars for bar service. Ppl getting served right on the spot when others waiting 15min and longer
M. W.
Great venue, good sound, nice staff
J. “. P.
Nice village pub. Outside area for smokers. Guinness was cold and just fine. :)
K. C.
Great place and atmosphere n friendly staff and quick service👍
I. W.
Well organised venue bringing good acts to Belfast.
P. P.
First time in the limelight and had a great night
K. S.
The acoustics were awesome and the appnesphere was electric.
S. S.
Good vibes, really crowded though..fun night!
C. c.
Brilliant night....can't wait to go back.
A. T.
Great night scouting for girls were awesome
T. C.
Great manager - sorted lost wallet and always smiling
B. M.
Really enjoy going here great atmosphere plan to go more often
P. R.
Great live music venue that always has a nice atmosphere. Never far from the stage as its not a huge place.
J. Z.
Amazing place no words, you must Go! party finish at 2am that is very sad :(
A. R.
Ticket collection was easy although we didn't know what happened before hand. Good venue that attracts great bands
I. K.
Good venue to listen to good music.
During the concert I attended, in order to save walks to the bar, there were giant, plastic pint glasses, to hold 2 pints.
Only complaint, I was denied the simple pleasure of taking a picture of the tour bus (one step outside, supervised by bouncers), as the moment you step out, you are no longer welcome.
Luckily I asked in advance, as I'm not sure if my coat would have become the bar property, would they post it out to me or would I have to take a flight back, to pick up my coat...
Fibbers in Dublin is way better, if you're looking for a rock bar in Ireland
H. R.
Perfect intimate venue. Great night
H. W.
Regular spot for me since I started going out. Great selection of music across the three venues within Limelight. Rock bar is always a favourite to return to.
Also a great venue for gigs. Very intimate atmosphere with many of the acts Ive seen play here, coming out to play amongst the crowd.
V. C.
The limelight is a brilliant music venue, great atmosphere for live music 🎶 😊. 15 minute walk from Belfast City center.
T. F.
Went for a UFO gig.... Great venue for it and really enjoyed the gig but was far too cramped..... Been over a dozen times and this was the first time I noticed it was overly cramped
M.
Another superb night watching The Dead South.... great venue.
J.
It's no 🍋 lemonlight, but if ya get Ur time right ul end up in the limelight, bouncer says NAT the nyt 🤏👏 heard it was good tho 👌🙋 believe it when I see it 😏
B. C.
Had a wonderful night here seeing Rival Sons..band was superb, as was the crowd..pity there aren't more nights like this..
S. R. d. B.
Live music experience and great beer
N. G.
First experience was brilliant decent upstairs bar and smoking area 4/5 although drinks were from a plastic cup, matters not after 3rd one. Complimentary (awesome) pizza (don't be shy) at 7pm, nice touch. Definitely be back.
T. C.
Beer Garden-
Great atmosphere and music. Only been to the bar side. Drinks are little expensive but not the most expensive in Belfast. £4 a shot when we went. However on weekends you might want to make reservations or go early if you want a table as it is often packed.
Amending review as I have now been in different parts.
Limelight Room 2 was amazing. They had a DJ and you can request songs, not guaranteed to play it depends on the djs mood haha. Service was quick mainly if they don't forget your order. Definitely recommend the vodka slushie. Free pizza was also handed out at around 7pm which made it so much better. One of the staff was very friendly and funny. Made the night so much more enjoyable. Great atmosphere definitely recommend going.
S. F.
My go to place on a Saturday night out in Belfast!! Sometimes the bouncers can be a bit rude but I guess it's expected after dealing with some of the ones they'd see throughout the night. Great overall vibe, music's great (choice of a few different rooms on a Saturday), smoking area is also very nice and bar staff are too quality!
T. C.
Cheap and cheerful! Great vip service from the security team!
S. J. W.
Fantastic Venue for Live Music and a brilliant atmosphere! One for anyone's Bucket List if you love Live Bands!
m. s.
Went to see Manchester calling no covid checks and people vaping next to me the sound was just ok some times hard to make out
P. B.
I went to the Thursday night Comedy Club last week and what a great evening's entertainment. £7 entry (£6 for students) gets you your ticket for the comedy show plus entry to the nightclub afterwards. We booked our group's tickets online and got a reserved table and complimentary drinks token each for one beer/cider/soft drink. Would highly recommend. Great to see local talent for a change, instead of just more of the same well-known comedians.
A. M.
Great concert venue
S. S.
I went on Thursday night for alien ant farm gig that was a very good gig but when we went into the other room after a good night it turned into one of the best night's out I have had in Belfast for years. Music was amazing great rock tunes for everyone (they even threw in a back street boys song that made my night even better) cheep drink and amazing music I will be going every Thursday If it's like that
G. L.
Fantastic night watching and listening to From The Jam.. takes you back, his voice was spot on..
b.
Please give the AAA dj from nov 9th a raise, bops all night long and I literally have no voice today to prove it
I.
Good but one is wrong when the irish boys go to girls tables they don't say anything but when we Foregner doing the same they stop us otherwise security is very first class service,,,Nice staff
T. B.
It is what it is, old building converted to a bar/club, I have to question the validity of a venue that issues ear protection to its staff. £5 door charge, and overpriced soft drinks while running booze promotions really gear this place towards binge drinking, and it shows in the clientele, was in for 30 minutes pushed passed, stepped on, and drinks spilled on me. Great spot if you were raised to be a prat
A. H.
Attended for a comedy show. Doors opened as promised at the correct time, show started promptly. Bar staff were friendly, helpful and prompt. As we're security staff. Good night out.
k.
A nice place with cheap drinks and often pretty good sing a long music as well. I recommend getting whatever the special is for that day though as it will have the best value. Good place to party with mates or chill at the bar and also features the best mopping crew in the entirety of Northern Ireland 😂
S. R.
Simple place the location seems nothing too different, a big place to dance but the music is not always great in my opinion. Gets too crowded and the entrance is not at the best location, drinks are at an average price and it's mostly designed for very young people
A. N.
My friend was not asked to leave but dragged out by the neck for jumping around with a bunch of people, he was the only one removed and in a very poor fashion. He would have happily responded to a request to leave with no hassle. It's odd how the staff (doormen/security) think they can treat people under the influence of alcohol. Apart from that great music and beautiful smoking area, usually have a better time here.
A. J.
Hang massive were superb
K. N.
Always good for live music and a friendly atmosphere. Queue to get drinks on a busy night can be time consuming and can take away from you seeing the band you’ve paid to see. Floor is very sticky hence the mop patrol always out in force.
A. C.
Really great night at a Gig here last night with friends. Only gripe is they shut the bar at 9.45pm when still band still going! Good night had though and in the bar next door which was also free into with ticket/armband. 😊
M. S.
One of the best clubs for a good night out in Belfast
L. T.
Awesome night at Showhawk Duo
K. M.
First time at this venue. First impressions good. But felt disappointed that could not enter the bar after concert. Would have had to queue up outside again. Ushered out for next concert to commence.
K. B.
Great spot for a gig.
C. B.
Great 4 catch up after work. Few drinks to relax and unwind and I enjoyed the music and atmosphere! Only downside was I could have ate more than 1 slice of pizza! Suppose u can't really complain as it's free! Overall good craic 🤗🍷🍕🍻
I. D.
Brilliant atmosphere copule of rooms with a different styles.
L. M.
The gig was amazing showhawk Duo and warm up band was great.
The problem was trying to get served at the bar, stood for 30 mins before someone took pity and ordered my drink and I gave her the money.
The place had a really good vibe to it, but would be better if you get a drink at the bar.
P. L.
Great place to enjoy dancing in Belfast, one of the best clubs in Belfast especially on special nights here, Weekend nights are great too... Enjoy its DJ and dance with great crowd of Belfast, big place so also convenient, Katy's bar is also good... You can also sit and chill with drinks here...
A. B.
Great venue to see bands up close.
The sound quality seems to have improved recently, though it is very loud if you have sensitive hearing.
Good bar, more than reasonable prices.
P. H.
Best gig in years at a great independent venue - Public Service Broadcasting!
M. Ś.
Fantastic live music. Good beer.
G. H.
The limelight has always been a regular haunt of mine for over 20 years. Yes it's changed over the years but it's always got better. I have seen so many bands and DJs in here it's unreal. I've even seen acts here more than once (I'm talking about you Goldie Lookin Chain) and I've seen straws shake themselves out of their containers on the bar in what was Spring and Airbrake thanks to Mr Scruff. Great as just a pub, great for a night out and great for seeing acts. Highly recommended. The roof terrace was great for a nice early evening beer.
J. W.
Nice place. Went to see NF there and came to a suprise it was more like a night club with a great style. The drinks were a bit dear but that's quite common for most nightclubs/bars.
C. K.
Good place for a graduation
Not good as it accepts card in every single bar
4th of July free beer pong was a shout. Felt like I was in that Will Ferrell film Old School due to the fraternity theme.
M. M.
Yeo! great to be back in one of Belfasts best music venues!
L. B.
I went here to watch Corrosion of Conformity, and it was fantastic. Absolutely wonderful. There was a really angry and agrees I've guy, and they quickly removed him which was nice. So much better going to a show versus going to their clubbing nights.
A. T.
I have been here a few times now for shows and it is a ideally located in the city centre beside hotels, different restaurants, car parking and a 5 min walk into the shopping are if Belfast. Drinks are reasonably priced
F. M.
Good music venue but bar is a disaster. Takes ages to get served when it isn't even that busy. Bar staff have a preference to service women first and let them jump the queue ahead of men.
B. M.
Groovy!!!!! Love the vibes, cool Dj
D. C.
Nice place, could do with a better selection of cider
L. O.
Fantastic venue, we saw The Doors alive, a tribute band to The Doors.
A. P.
Really loved the Gig went to see the Showhawk duo they were amazing.
The limelight was good however trying to get served at the bar was ridiculous I stood for over 30mins finally a lady took pity on me and ordered my drinks along with hers and I gave her the money.
The place is quirky and has a really good vibe would have been 5 stars had I been able to be served.
R. J.
A really awesome place with a few different bars and good DJs. They were mostly playing popular pop music, such as 'Starboy'. The club itself is very high with three different rooms and a smoking area upstairs. The only downside is that drinks are pretty pricey, with a Smirnoff Ice being £4 and a shot of Samboca being £3.55 I think. I would still recommend Limelight for a good night out though :)
D. G.
Younger crowd, good varied music but no drink promotions on a Saturday. Plus no drinks to the loo if you’re Male but you can if you’re female. Always long queues at all the bars.
K. O.
Great small venue for some big name artists
C. W.
Cheesier tunes than my grans pickup lines. But here if you're looking an absolute bargain bucket dirty disco night out here is your spot. Monday night entertainment provides more culchies than the Balmoral show, head to the far bar for some slip the clutch and a litter of pints! great venue me and mum will definitely be back
p. b.
Nice smaller (but not tiny) venue to catch a rock show at.
W. M.
Superb concert venue
J. B.
Some very good bands are playing there. The bar has a good choice of alcohol but... The toilets are not always very clean and the place can be extremely crowded and the bar is not always staffed enough.
R. M.
Legendary live venue. Rarely enough bar staff on when there's a gig. Beer is poor. Great bands though. Katy Daly's is much better for a decent drink.
F. S.
Great venue for metal gigs. They even serve a double pint for a decent price. The bar is always extremely busy but the staff is brilliant.
A. B.
Love Limelight as a bar/nightclub. Have so much fun here. Provided handwritten birthday card for birthday event. Drinks can be expensive but various rooms with different genres of music
T. (.
They're doing a great job adjusting to Covid. Staff are great. Doormen are great. Atmosphere is great
R. A.
Good since they introduced UFO on a Wednesday night. Just the sort of music that's great at somewhere like this. Also massive venue so plenty of room and good bar service
M. K.
Good atmosphere, 3 rooms with various music genre, mainly targeted to young people - students, some security staff could work on their professionalism as they represent the business not their EGO - some were ignorant towards respectful customer.
P. S.
Drinks are small, but the dancing in Grand. Head here after a few pre-game drinks and you won't be disappointed. Wear shoes to dance in.
p. g.
Never a bad night in the limelight
S. H.
Possibly the best live venue in Belfast
N. M. R.
Awesome place
D. C.
Limelight 2 Great venue, went here to see ANVIL great gig (never seen a guitarist use a "vibrator as bottle neck before 👏) Beers not cheap but wasn't expecting it to be. Staff were friendly and helpful, same in Katy's. Pillars block view a bit, but better than a ceiling falling on your head. If rocks your thing, then this is " the place " for a night
out. Looking forward to MAGNUM and SKID ROW. Yes some terrific bands play here on UK tours. NOTE no food available here or Katy Daly's.
M. R.
Great bar staff, just not enough of them. That said it could just have been because it was so busy the night I was there. Though they knew the event was sold out.
Terrible beer selection.
R. M.
Limelight is a good night out and has three different sections which match the needs of all, want a pub to sit down and chill with the lads?
Has it
Want a night club with vodka slush puppys? Has it
Want a small club with a more niche type of music but better priced drink than the other two sections?
Has it
4/5 as the drink is a bit expensive in the limelight
W.
Good experience staff wouldn't sell me their T shirt, I feel they are missing a marketing opportunity, but hey, otherwise a great night with great company and and a great band playing the Brothers osborne.
G. K.
Decent prices, can be a good crowd on Saturday nights, this is a place for 20-25 year olds.
Toilets can be a complete disaster quite often, and when ravers on drugs mix with metal heads, there can be a bit of fisticuffs.
J. Q. S.
Very nice , 3 rooms , 1 bar ,and 2 different night clubs inside , rock on the right disco on the left , and the bar in the middle, very advise if u want a good Belfast night.
M. K.
Decent night out with a good selection of music. Bit too loud across the board given what they're playing. Good if you've got enough beets in you to not care about conversation.
R. D.
Brilliant craic and a very popular venue. Limelight 1 is great for gigs (Mastodon, Flogging Molly, Dan le sac) and has some good dance tunes on club nights. Limelight 2 is a classic Belfast night out and has all the stalwart rock tunes blaring. Great for having a good night and blowing off some steam. Always decent deals for drinks on but I'd frequently packed out so necessary to go early enough to avoid the queues.
A. M.
Don't go here if you're over 25 but then also, it's okay. Like the non main rooms are good imho
5.
Great venue, large bar and small enough of a space to get close to the live music.
The speakers were too loud but I'll put that down to the sound engineering of the band.
C. M.
Limelight is a take it or leave it place. It's abit like marmite. Any time I have been I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. Great music and drink promo's. Cheap entry. Great live acts at times aswell. The place does look dirty inside but I think that's just the age of the building. For a night out with great craic I would definitely recommend.
R. M. (. M.
It's one of the few places I can see metal bands live.
a. n.
Ahhh limelight..limelight. limelight. Limelight. My old friend. You will always belong in my heart❤ so many wonderful memories of going buck mad on the dance floor with my university friends, annoying the photographer for pictures, trying to get song requests....most of all the rock bar. Dreams were made here.😍 joking aside this place is da bomb, had so many great gigs here especially the more intimate ones in the rock bar. Also katys bar is a cool place to chill or play mario kart😉 also Line of Duty was filmed here, *ahem, "we're suckin diesel now boyyss"
J. C.
Easily my favourite night spot in Belfast. Not for everyone, but if it's the alternative scene you are after look no further for a hard nights rocking to your favourite tunes.
n.
Great location for clubbing, the door staff on the night in went were very friendly. Didn't ask for ID etc. One thing which would have made this place greater would be a quiet bar attached.
R. C.
Came here to see Devin Townsend playing live in Limelight 1. Staff were flat-out busy but swift to serve at the bar. Stayed only for the duration of the gig but found the venue to be quite well managed. Only drawback from the whole place was the extremely slow/underpowered hand-drier in the mens bathroom! Looking at more gigs to attend here.
T. S. R. J.
Great music venue. Sound quality could be better. Drinks served in plastic mugs, probably for safety reasons. An okay spot
R. B.
Martin Kemp was a blast.
P. F.
Best club in Belfast. Chart music in one part, bar with indy music in the middle and a rock club on the otherwise. Great place, friendly people and never many fights.
S. F.
Brilliant night, Gary Newman what more do you expect from a class act, 60year has been I don't think so, crowd rocking, all ages, from 20-60 now that is what you call an artist
C. A.
Extremely slow service at bar, clearly new inexperienced staff
J. S.
Awesome bar with plenty of choice. Brilliant atmosphere before and after gigs. Staff are super helpful and friendly....
H. S.
Great note at Pogues tribute nite with Rapparres.
J. W.
Paddy mcdonnell lit the limelight up
N. M.
I say I hate it. But yet to see really anything wrong with it. People are great. Atmosphere is great. The price is great. Music seems repetitive but overall it's a good experience to have.
P. m.
It's ok but for gigs is not a great venue. Not terrible nor fantastic. The bar staff and bouncers are pretty sound.
A. F.
Good venue for certain sizes of concert but full capacity appears to be when you cannot see the stage or bar any longer.
J. S.
Great sound, nice atmosphere and close to the band due to venue being on the smaller side. Some seating, two bars, awesome.
0.
Went to see bay city rollers at this venue cant complain about staff as they were fine. Only fault i had as a disabled person there was no part set aside so i spent nite looking at peoples backs was like listening to them on radio
C. D.
Good solid spot, parking near by. Staff are great. Only downside is how quickly they kick you out of the door after the event.
A. A.
Love going here. Music is great on a Saturday if your in to rock. Good drinks promos too
L. J.
They play the same songs every night, but you're always guaranteed an enjoyable time. Sticky floors are super annoying tho.
G. M.
Always a great selection of music. Especially if your a rocker. Drinks promotions every day along with live music and open Mic nights.

A Belfast classic, that has been took over by shine. It still has all the classics from yester year, the rock is still played! But added bonus of great guest for gigs, including stormzy! Run the jewels and many more! All different types of music, even the likes of the the orb have played.
Northern Irelands biggest student night sketchy which started at stiff kitten, is here as well. Promising you many sing a long classics! All in all a great wee place.
Sadly not alot of cider!
M. C.
This is an amazing place for night out. Staff what can I say only amazing. Can't thank them enough. Looking forward to next visit. Thank you all.😀😀xx
L. H.
Great gig venue and a good night out as well. Limelight 2 is the smaller, more intimate venue while limelight 1 is a bit bigger.
G. M.
Locals call it the slimeshite. But in an affectionate way, like your mate whose nickname is ballbag. But everyone knows ballbag is a good egg and will always chip in a fiver for petrol. I done dug the Limelight back when I lived in Belfast. Me and my crew would go here to get down and funk about, grooving to the latest tunes or classic cuts.
R. r.
A bit soulless. But Katy's bar is lovely.
G. F.
Really great tidy venue. Sounds were amazing. I saw frank turner here and the place was bouncing. Really good atmosphere
M. A.
Great venue and professional staff
J. B.
Really cool place for a gig. Close to other facilities in Belfast. We stayed in the Park Inn which was only two minute walk away.
D. L.
Good place with a decent atmosphere. Fast service. Went for a gig and it was over 30c in the room but everyone was having a great time regardless.

J. L.
Great bar for a swift half after work, or a night out. Be sure to catch the pizza @ 20:00.
C. B.
Venue was good, band were amazing, the only negative is that, there were not enough bar staff & there was a bit of a wait but they were friendly
G. H.
The same music playlist has been played non-stop since I was in Uni but the atmosphere is great and the drinks are pretty cheap.
C. M.
Has alot of options, and good drink promos, however with 3 separate bar areas, keeping a group of varied tastes together may cause debates
T. E.
Friendly staff and good range of drink options for all. Drinks promos on most ngts and good for live music.
s. j.
loved this place, the atmosphere is amazing and the people there are great to definitely want to come back again
J. C.
Still one of the best and most iconic clubs. The playlist rarely changes but it's a brilliant rock night
S. A.
Great venue for gigs and live comedy but the entire place needs a good scrub with medical grade disinfectant. I need a shower just thinking about it.
D. D. A.
If I were a tourist, Limelight would be one of the first places I would go out at night. There’s smth for everyone. Nostalgic? Check. Hip? Check. Bohemian? Check.

D. E.
No matter how they brand it, it's still The Limelight. For 30 years the most important live venue in Belfast.
C. D.
My favourite club in Belfast. Sketchy with my class mates is standard on a Thursday and there are plenty of hot guys to choose from there too.
