N. M.Came here to see La Villa Strangiato (Italian Rush Tribute) last night.. What a well run, friendly venue. The pub downstairs was great.. Atmosphere took me back to rock bars of the mid - 90's. Good live music spot and great for a quick pint..

K. R.Went to Voodoo after being at a gig in the Limelight which ended way too soon. There was an 80's night on so all was good. Nice relaxed bouncers and friendly atmosphere inside. Only thing I'd advise to be aware of.....staff come round on a regular basis and mop up any spillages, even if it's around your feet! A bit unnerving after a few drinks but I suppose needs must

A. I. P.This is one of my favourite places to have a drink . The music is good and it varies in style . the bar staff is just amazing and the entire bar just has a very chilled out atmosphere. I would highly recommend you go into Voodoo if you are passing by or even make it a must do on your list !

A. A.Great alternative place to have a drink. Went last night to celebrate my partner's bday and after few drinks got brave and decide to have a slow dance just next where we were sitting. No one was around us and we werent putting anyone at risk however the doorman felt the need to stop us and tell us to sit down. I understand that he was doing his job and following new guidance but dont feel that was a need to stop us at this time as the place was quiet and we were following the social distancing regulations. Hope things go back to normal soon and going out for a drink and some relaxing time wont feel so strange and distanced..

C. B.Renovation on the gig space upstairs is brilliant, nice and open while still remaining the Voodoo we all know and love. I was there for the The Also Rans/Son of the Hound about a month back and it was buzzing. Following the gig getting to go down and listen to the open mic was really lovely. Staff are always really friendly and quick. Never really spend long trying to get served.

L. H.Awesome little gig venue. I haven't been here outside of that context but it seems like a cool little bar. The gig space upstairs is a weird shape for a gig venue, but if it isn't too crowded it is a very intimate setting for a gig. The band are on a slightly raised platform without separation from the crowd. Decent selection of beer available too.
S. B.I love this bar, it has a wonderful atmosphere, reasonable prices and didn't argue when I asked for lime with my tequila. It was also a really great crowd to perform too! Open mic nights are Thursdays.

R. M.A great bar with a lively atmosphere. The people are sociable and the staff are down to earth. The range of draught beers is something to behold. The club upstairs is spacious with comfy seats. The only downside is the music downstairs is too loud at times making it hard to hear one another.

J. D. A.Voodoo's is a cozy nook for the avid metal thrasher, staff is warm and welcoming. Small sized venue can translate to easy access to the band members for fans. Limited seating kind of forces you to stay on your feet, but that's why headbanging here is such a good time. I highly recommend this venue for both bands on tour, and people out for a fun night.

The website said upstairs was free between 10 and half 10, but when me and friends went up at 10:15 we were charged entrance and then when we walked in there weren't any available seats because most tables had reserved signs on them! But downstairs is usually great craic :D

A. i.To be honest I was to drunk to fully recall the visit,. Although I didn't remember Google obviously did and prompted for a review. Looking back through our groups photos I had some recollection...trendy, friendly atmosphere, regulars were happy to chat and the drinks went down well.

Went here for Diamond Head great gig ( in spite of lead singers voice problems). Support band (Stormzone) great band much better support than expecting in such a small venue (in spite of there lead singers voice problems). Both lead singers!!! Yea must have been something in the air that night. Great venue will definitely be back.
P. m.Generally good, have had to endure some very aggressive people in here but mostly it's been dead on. Staff pretty much all sound with the exception of one very unpleasant girl who was doing the door upstairs one night. Why the management would put a hateful, rude person on the door I don't understand. One skill required for bar work is people skills. She had none. Upstairs a bit dank with a strange atmosphere sometimes. Downstairs much nicer. I actively avoid going to gigs in Voodoo as I have rarely felt comfortable upstairs.

R.Expecting a metal bar, supposively Slayer and Meticalla too hard core even though they were the most tame tame of our recommendations. Ended up having to listen to lame ABBA and timewarp remixes... Positives been quick and easy to order a pint and excellent crowd 👍

F.Dark and dingy but a good vibe however I appeared to be invisible or rather didn't appear ... as i stood at the bar for 10 minutes being ignored whilst other people were acknowledged that hadn't even been there a min.Eventually I asked could I be served and then when handed my drink I asked for a straw and was told that they were at the other side of the bar and the bar staff couldn't hand me one because they were too busy so I navigated my way through the crowd of 15 people to get a straw which would have taken 30 seconds to get at their end.The music was great and there is a soft seating area to lounge in but I think they could do with some floor lighting towards the stage area.i couldn't even see to find my friend and it was quite dangerous.A good mix of old and young but mostly aging wannabe rock stars.Ladies toilets were really big and clean and I met some nice rock chicks in there.Would go back again but think I would have to be a bit more forward when ordering a drink.
J. K.On holiday in Belfast and stumbled upon this bar. It isn't the biggest of places but it wasnt a bad thing. The atmosphere was very friendly and everyone was talking to everyone. Outside seating was available and the prices were fair. Good place to visit 👌

A.Lovely relaxing place to go for a drink. Staff are great as they take time to chat to their customers and are more than happy to advise on the great selection of drinks they serve. This is a great place for locals and visitors alike!

Upstairs is cash only though, which can be a tad frustrating, but there's cash machines outside the Tesco express nearby, if you're stuck.
Theres not many toilets either. Men, chances are someone will ask to use the sink behind you 😂

B. M.I was excited to go to Voodoo and hopefully catch a good punk show. Went one Saturday to check and it was a Weezer cover band, went back on the Monday and the vibe was dull and uninviting so we went back the following Saturday... No live show upstairs and Downstairs in the lounge was a dj. My husband requested "Rancid" and she said "i don't have any of that metal stuff" lol we had a good laugh finished our pint and left.
