Reviews of Whites Tavern

Went to the bar with friends for a drink only to be told by the door lady the bar was full and all tables were fully booked! We went around the corner to find the beer garden with loads of space and a great band playing. We had a few drinks and a very enjoyable time. It’s sad the door lady did not know there was another part to the bar, I wonder how much custom is lost by her lack of knowledge.

We had the excellent spare rib starter, and the Irish stew, and lucked into three guitarist playing Irish folk songs and pop songs starting about 8:30 to end a nice day. The tavern has 3 areas and outside with covered picnic tables, a large open bar area, and the old, dark, warm small restaurant area with a wood burning fire where we ate. I was a bit warm, and my clothes still have a whiff of campfire. I would go again.
J. B.
Amazing experience. Fire going in the fireplace, baby shower in the back corner, live music, phenomenal food and service. No wonder they have been there since 1630!
R. H.
Oldest tavern in Belfast!
Brick walls solid wood beams with a fireplace and Irish music in the background, need I say more! Simple menu without standing fish and chips and the grilled cheese with local cheddar, was outstanding. Prices are more than reasonable!

Had a bit of a chaotic visit to Belfast but the moment we stepped foot inside the tavern it felt like coming home. The ambience was wonderful, as was Thomas' playlist and ofc Thomas himself who recommended us amazing shots and was very kind and friendly and quite possibly the best bartender I've ever met. Cheers for setting us on an amazing night!

One of the Oldest Irish Pubs in Northern Ireland 🇮🇪. Good Beers 🍻, Great food . Lovely atmosphere. A must visit
E. B.
Very busy and lively pub
Lots of outdoor seating, mainly benches and tables.
Belfast oldest pub, so worth a visit.
A. B.
Strangford Lough mussels and Creamy Seafood Chowder very delicious. I suggest a lot. Prices correct. 😋😋😋😎👍

Nice cozy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Food never disappoints. Been coming here for awhile now and it's always a great experience.
M. B.
Live music, young lively happy staff, delicious food and wide variety of drinks.

Found this on an alley in town, exceptional staff, we are from Sale, England and went in three times, the last time we went in with our nephew and niece in law who live there and have never been here the lad behind the bar said to my wife... "The usual" which made them laugh.
Superb atmosphere some lovely live local style music.
Nice old building, we will definately be back.
Thank you for such a great Belfast welcome.
G. B.
We were thrilled with this historic tavern. There was a peat fire in the grate. It was very welcoming. It is a good spot for live music. It’s a little on the dark side which is as refreshing as the beer. There is a big outdoor beer garden that is covered if that is your preference.

Dating back to 1630 this is an institution of a pub. Spent an hour or so in newly created beer garden. Love the rustic feel and the low bar that you can sit at. It was a bit chilly despite the heaters on. Most of the tables were reserved for the evening so that might be a good idea to do if you were out for the night. Unisex toilets - not really a fan of those in pubs as they’re usually filthy late into the evening
S. R.
Quiet lunchtime on a Tuesday had the seafood chowder served with 4 small pieces of soda bread. It was really tasty & fresh and a great lunch filler.
Staff were really helpful & fast to provide friendly service.
Traditional dark pub with beamed low ceilings & old wooden furniture
H. 1.
We asked for a mocktail and the bartender did something nice for us it wasn’t in the menu 👍🏻
D. W. C.
Visited with family who were here on holiday from England; Hoping for a real Irish experience. Staff on duty were extremely pleasant and very professional. The only issue was the very loud music ( the staff kindly offered to turn the volume down, ever so slightly) Food was fab and service first class! Would highly recommend…

Omg visited Belfast for the weekend and a friend who lives there recommended Whites Tavern. What an amazing time we had cosy warm, fabulous atmosphere and brilliant live music. Definately a night to remember. thanks you 👍🏼🤩
C. B.
Very nice atmosphere, food, drink and service were ok
G. M.
Whites never lets you down, such a comfy warm little bar with great staff, draws a nice crowd. The atmosphere is great, A good pint of guinness with the smell of the fire, someone playing guitar. You cant beat it. Also do good cocktails.
M. H.
Whites is a lovely cozy wee bar, hadn't been in for a while. We called in on a wet Wednesday afternoon as I knew the fire would be blazing. Ordered a pint and a glass of wine ... over £11!!! I wasn't acknowledged by the bar maid for a while even though I was the only person standing at the bar and it certainly wasn't service with a smile!! I think it will be another while before we call in again.
B. D.
Staff great atmosphere very cosy and welcoming beautiful little spot to chill and food AMAZING PLEASE HOLD ON TO YOUR CHEF
G. K.
One of the best 'trad bars' in the city. Open fire, great pint of Guinness and if you're lucky some live folk or trad music.
Always an interesting crowd too.
C. L.
Great wee spot good music fast service and a lovely pint of Guinness served
J. R.
Smallest bar top I have ever seen. A great experience and a decent pint too.
C. W.
Great venue-friendly helpful staff, good food and good sized room for small crowd. Perfect for a small gathering topped off by great music by 'The Cavemen' couldn't ask for more 👍 plenty of buffet food and very tasty morsels indeed.
K. M.
Fantastic old tavern in the centre of Belfast. Lovely food and guinness with excellent friendly service. Irish stew and Seafood Chowder were both delicious. We will be back.
B. B. l.
Called in for a pint the other day, lovely Guinness and a cute olden time atmosphere! They even let us sit at a reserved table until the people arrived, I loved the big open fire, really adds to the feel of the place ;)
o. w.
First time in Belfast to sort a passport, ended up in the Whites Tavern. Molly the barmaid was unbelievable. Would travel back just for her. If you’re looking for a local Irish pub with great food and amazing service head there & ask for Molly. X
J. W.
Delicious food, I high recommend the lamb shank. As with alot of the good bars in Belfast, its tucked away down a small alley, though please do not let this put you off.
J. A.
Very atmospheric, lovely pint of Guinness and good food
T. 7.
This place is full of atmosphere and cozy. There was a dull red fire glowing in the fireplace and you could sense the smell of peaty coal as you stepped over the threshold. The Guinness was excellent too and all the drinks seemed to be priced reasonably for such a centrally located pub along with such history.
M. J.
A bustling bar. The inside was jam packed full of people. A relatively small interior with only a few dozen seats, however there is a large outdoor area on the street (one of the nicer ones at any bar around). While there are heaters outside, they are only by the entrance. The bar has a lot of history. I liked the woodwork.
K. W.
Great staff really obliging food really good we had the Irish stew. Very reasonable prices...please go there for the craq 5 stars
Z. C.
Gives the feel of a true Irish pub. Tucked back in an alley gives a secret feel to it. Very rustic and you can feel the history in the room.
K. v.
The Guinness is no joke the best I ever had. The pub is very cozy and nice to drink some Guinness and maybe some snacks. But that's about it. The waiters are not nice at all. We wanted to have a snack before 6 and that was not possible, but we were allowed to order starters.. and then later we wanted to order dinner but that was only allowed before 6, so we could only order snacks after 6. Really?! Maybe explain that then? And it says that you can pay by card but they only accept cash. It's a strange place.. too bad because it has so much potential. The snacks were good btw.
C. B.
Great live music, amazing fried chicken sandwich and loved the atmosphere!
W. V.
One of the most lovely bars we did so far in Belfast.
Cozy, mix of locals and tourists.
Staff was friendly.
K. W.
Absolutely lovely place. Irish stew was amazing. Little gem of a place. Would definitely visit again
K. H.
Great location. Loved the atmosphere; old and cozy. We were too late for meals, so our group of 6 ordered a bunch of stuff from the snack menu. The stew and brie were particularly good.
D. N.
Great place. Inside and outside seating. Tables get reserved for evening so book if u can so ur not moved on.
J. W.
Me and the boys went in for a few beers after Christmas shopping and well looked after by Thomas great day thank you
S. S.
Great ladies! Friendly! Loved the twirling of ice to cool off the glasses. Added sparkle to a dull day.
O. M.
I just got engaged and was lucky enough to be able to meet up with my lovely family and friends in Whites, the drinks were great, the food even more so and david the canadian really stood out making the night so special. Couldn't ask for more lovely service.
M. K.
Cool place. Great atmosphere and good service. Worth going, just to say you have been in the oldest pub in Belfast.
B. H. T.
One of the citys oldest and most traditional pubs. New outside area is a great addition to the city. Perfect place for Guinness and whiskey in a warm cosy pub
A. B.
Must visit if you're in Belfast. Open fire and live music while you enjoy a cold beer, great atmosphere.
J. M.
Fabulous atmosphere, food and drink - the Irish stew is amazing 🙂 - thank you
P. G.
Great pub! Love the hearth with a nice little fire going
P. M.
Love whites tavern for its location and atmosphere. The Saturday night we were there, the service wasn't amazing and it was fairly difficult for us to get bar staffs attention or a drink. Saying that, craic was great. Menu could do with being looked at as it's more like a children's snack menu as opposed to a beautiful sit down adult menu. Will return in the future.
a. d.
Great food friendly staff we had a ball see you soon cheers guys.
J. T.
Lovely little pub with roaring fire. Class music and great service 🍻
P. G.
Gorgeous rustic tavern, the oldest in Belfast, with beautiful rafters, heavy wooden doors, and fireplace. Worth seeking out.
Y. M.
Brilliant staff during testing times. Big thanks to the new manager! Good pint of Guinness too!
R. O.
Cozy inside with a good selection of beers and spirits. Plenty of seats outside and down the alley way
k. f.
Nothing less than excellent!
O. S.
Irish stew was amazing. Garlic potatoes also incredible.
B. Y.
When I visited this pub it had been available only outside to sit, It was good though. Hopefully weather was good. staff is good
M. A.
Great atmosphere in this old tavern would recommend and will be back
M. C.
From door staff to serving staff they were excellent. Food and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere with the fire was perfect
M. B.
Awesome dark atmosphere with roaring fires and great food. Perfect winter retreat with a group of mates!
C. M.
City centre bar which is traditional and has a great relaxed atmosphere. It is right in the shopping area of town so great to stop off for a quick break. Staff are friendly. Well worth a visit to see a proper Northern Irish pub.
E. M.
Great atmosphere nice staff very enjoyable place and good fun for night out.
J. P.
A really nice irish bar, the inside made of old brick with an ancient wee chemney, beautiful place to go at anytime of the D.
P. H.
Really cosy, turf fire, warm and friendly
M. J. P.
Great spot for a drink ! , historic old pub , great spot to watch rugby on the big screen in the beer garden
w. w.
Great, big tables, heat sources outside, beautiful old fashioned pub inside. Missing table service mind 🤣
M. M.
Good service, friendly staff. The only thing is when I walked in a smokey suit strong smell from fire burning left my clothes smelling of suit. No air conditioning in bar. A bit stuffy.
The pizza was good but small for the price.
A. G.
Its a great wee.place very chilled and laid back great spot
Z. S.
Lovely bar, great food and great atmosphere!
C. C.
Lovely traditional tavern with a real fire burning and good guinness.
S. M. G.
Went there for a meal with friends. They got my food order and drink order wrong when I was there. They did rectify the issue quickly though. Limited non-alcoholic drink options advertised. Also added 10% gratuity although I understand that this is standard in many places for a large group (7 people).
C. B.
Local pub experience, lots of rooms and atmosphere.
J. M.
Really lovely traditional pub. The service is great and love that they light a fire.
K. K.
Unreal best pint of Guinness in Belfast.best old school pub in the city 👋👋👍👌😎
F. M.
First time out in Belfast in a long time good atmosphere and friendly staff
G. R.
Really busy but looked decent I'd you could get a seat
G. M.
Nice location in the entries of Belfast City Centre. Tables can be booked ahead. Both inside and outside are open for service. Food is available, pizzas, chicken wings, fires, etc. We were a group of 8, no complaints about the food. Drinks can be ordered at the tables.
R.
Nice cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Peat fire and traditional Irish music live regularly
j. b.
We had a good meal (sharing plates with patatas bravas, prawns, meatballs and fish) and a couple of drinks. Thing that put me off was that both my glasses were still dirty with lipstick smears. Ugh.
B. G.
Fine bar, service a little slow
L. N. C.
Excellent wee place , don't go Belfast and miss this place. Cosy and lovely warm fire plus good food and cocktails
B. S.
What a gem of a bar great live music and lovely dire deff rec this 0oace
P. M.
Helpful and friendly service and really nice food at a reasonable price.
L. S.
Beautiful interior for such a small city. Food was good, too. Service was excellent, as you can expect from an European country. It did lighten up my mood afterwork.
S. M.
We were in the new bit that is in the outside adjacent alley which has been transformed. Nice atmosphere, great customer service and food. I would highly recommend. They limit the number if people inside so you have your own space.
D. K.
Very smokey, my clothes still smell of it, noisy, didn't need the music so loud, could be a great wee pub
D. E.
Great atmosphere and great food would highly recommend
J. M. C.
Good local and there was a lot of vegetarian options
C. M.
One of the best pubs - great for a pint of Guinness by the fire.
C. G.
Fantastic food and great atmosphere. 👍
R. J. W.
Wonderful space and atmosphere. Highly recommended
M. O.
Greeted and welcomed by Thomas who excelled at making us feel welcome @whitestavern. Thomas Interacted with us throughout our time reflecting his social, outgoing, and friendly personality. His situational awareness made sure we never had to wait or request his attention for drinks. Being looked after by Thomas made us feel he was one of our company rather than just doing a job. A character who makes going out for that drink an experience. Looking forward to our return visit! Gemma & Martha 👌
M. S.
Really nice... A must to visit...
A. S.
Nice little pint in an old Irish pub 🍻
a. f. b.
We went for lunch and ordered steak sandwich med to well done however it was very pink and cold as where the chips, I asked the waiter to change it and I had the chicken sandwich instead which was delicious.the waiter was very approachable and friendly.
D. D.
Lovely food, we had a few small dishes to share. A good selection of beers and drinks and very friendly staff who made us really welcome
f. y.
Good atmosphere n clean traditional pub.
But pricy on drinks and staff could do more to ensure no massive roudy crowds
J. S.
Sitting outside with table service, it was almost impossible to get the attention of the staff to order any drinks. Even when we did make contact with one, it was another 10 mins before he actually came back to take the order
W.
Great pint of Guinness
R. M.
Lovely tavern will go again.
W. M.
Absolutely brilliant bar. Very homely
D. P.
Nice fire and atmosphere. Lovely Guinness
N. M.
I have lived in Belfast all my life but have never went to Whites Tavern for food before, only a drink. Went in tonight and tried some food for the first time. It was superb. I had the slow roast beef and it was the nicest piece of beef I've had, good size portion too. The gravy was great, the mash was creamy and the veg was fresh. I tried a couple of chips off my partner's plate and they were so good as well. We also tried the chocolate brownie for dessert, also amazing. Both left feeling very happy and satisfied. 10/10 will be back to eat again, and again.
t.
Lovely warm fire, plenty of tourists about. Not my favourite type of bar but have to give credit for a nice pub and good experience. Friendly staff, great drink selection, large smoking area to the front if a decent day.
R. M.
Another lovely bar in the Cathedral Quarter. Staff very pleasant and chatty, a good selection of beers on offer and plenty of indoor and outdoor space.
G. W.
Lovely old pub with genuine heart and atmosphere. Extremely professional staff and a friendly welcome. Didn’t order food on this occasion but what I did see looked very good. Belfast has many delightful pubs and this ranks among them.
B. R.
Table set up for Christmas Dinner super job , lovely Christmas Dinner, staff friendly & good service 😋
P. O.
Nice pub, good atmosphere but table service a bit sporadic and our server had his mask down while serving.
T. M.
Great pub in Southhampton. Stayed there one night prior to boarding our ship.. 1/2 mile to ocean terminal
J. C.
Absolutely authentic Irish vibes.
D. S.
Best fish and chips I've had yet. Great table service. Nice interior.
賴.
Less choice for cocktail, but the cost was reasonable.
d. g.
Great little spot with nice outdoor courtyard in city centre. As far as pub grub goes the tapas were very tasty and service was good.
C. F.
Happy hour specials, prompt service, cool old pub!
k. h.
Really really good Guinness. The setting is beautiful too, a very old style Irish pub. Big smoking area out the front too. A few years ago I would have given it 5 stars but now it's full of mainly tourists, hen and stag parties. The atmosphere has changed a lot 😞
M. A.
Traditional pub with a great selection of drinks and some live music, on the Sunday night we visited.
This place was recommended to us by the waitress in Bert's Jazz restaurant. She described it as a good place to go for some real Irish craic. Would agree!
d. b.
Great bar but pricey.
M. Q.
Always loved this pub great atmosphere lovely pints 👍
L. P.
Lovely little bar with friendly staff and good wine. The Guinness was good too although a little more expensive than some of the other bars in Belfast. Certainly well worth a visit though.
E. B.
Nice pub but service wasnt altogether great on the day were were there. Food was nice enough though.
D. D.
The 3 of us had a great lunch in the Oyster Bar location. It was so good that I had a second order of the Guiness stew.
Plus the crumble dessert was very good.
Service also was very good.
I live in Tucson, Arzona but will be back this Spring time
Thank you
S. M.
Great service and great Irish stew
S. L.
It was very good had a lovely time 😍
j. b.
Lovely quaint old pub with great atmosphere and open fire
F. C.
Such a lovely little pub. The oldest in Belfast. Check out the photo on the wall showing a ghost! The food is real good as well. Friendly staff and regulars.
C. M.
Great pint and the outside space is good, not many seats though.
T. S.
Lovely pub, the oldest in Belfast. Staff are great, we sat down and they came over to take our order. The food was tasty, steaming and plentiful. they had a children's day with face painting and magic.
B. R.
It's like stepping back in time, it looked just like I imagined an old irish tavern should appear. And the staff were friendly and the food was fantastic. The Guinness ... well it was perfect. What I like most was it was a local hangout plenty of regulars there. And they'd chat you up.
c. b.
Happy to stumble upon this place, turned out to be oldest pub in Belfast
R. C.
Great food, very kind staff. Definitely venture down the alley for this!
A. P.
Stopped in for a pint. Staff friendly and attentive.
C. D.
Great for a Saturday afternoon for just a drink or some food. Menu is quite varied but would recommend trying the pie as these are homemade and very tasty. Would recommend booking a table if looking for lunch as it's always very busy. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
G. G.
All the years I've lived in Belfast and somehow had never been to Whites.
It's tiny, cosy and fantastic. Went on a weekday evening and was treated well by staff.
The fire wasn't lit, so was a bit freezing sitting there; but not a big deal.
m. c.
Lovely old traditional pub. There was a log fire burning. Only downside was I left the pub stinking of smoke.
G. P.
Really cool place for a drink, excellent professional and friendly staff
G. H.
Massive portions of food at reasonable prices. Great pub.
B. R.
Nice pub hidden in one of the Entry's. Has a good Guinness and some nice beer choices. Food is pretty good too! Definitely a bit touristy but it has its regulars as well
B. H.
Great atmosphere in this wee old bar! One of the oldest in Belfast. It's down an alleyway with fairy lights and you can stand outside for drinks in the summer. Good food too.
S. M.
I was ready to absolutely hate the new outdoor "Whites garden" but it's actually lovely, still has a good vibe.
R. S.
Whites is nice. It's one of the oldest bars in Belfast. It has a good selection of drinks. In recent months it has become more popular with tourists so can be difficult find a seat / table.
L. L.
Irish stew was ok. Nice fire burning. But was more like a beef bourguignon with fancy potato piped on the side..tasty though, but not authentic in my opinion and a small portion.
A. K. A.
The food experience was great.
A. N.
Great wee bar with claims to be the oldest in Belfast. Friendly staff who will go out of their way to help, cosy fire (in winter), good selection of beers and spirits. Also very good food!
B. R.
Great pub with amazing atmosphere
B. H.
Cool bar with great music, friendly vibe and food was excellent.
A. A.
Delicious
K. J.
A must see for any out of towner. Even more so us folks from the new world. Low ceilings, wood burning fireplace, good food and pretty good Guinness made this a wonderful stop on our tour.
A. D.
Nice atmosphere, good Guinness. Great old pub
O. C.
This is a nice cosy bar and the staff seem friendly. I've only been here once and it was a nice atmosphere with really good live music. It was busy and a large group of tourists came in while we were there but chose to sit outside. We didn't have food on this occasion
C. W.
Traditional Irish pub with a lot of character, good foor and charming staff .
a. M. D.
Upstairs of white tavern is nice and retro superhero comics good old fashioned games we played cludo good fun. Food was lovely we had pizza and cocktails. There's a good selection of food, cocktails ,milkshakes and yummy desserts the guy who was serving was nice and helpful so give it ago
K. M.
Loads more food options than the last time I was there! Really good food, too. Went late afternoon during the week and it was nice and quiet, fast service, and very friendly. Definitely recommend!
H. U.
Make your way down the uninviting alley (Trust me, it’s safe.) and head through the front door of White’s while it’s still legal to burn peat in Ireland. Ever close your eyes and imagine a quaint Irish pub but with just a wee bit of northern influence? Welcome to White’s, where ordering the cream of cauliflower soup is actually a good idea and the whiskey options are Insta-worthy.
C. G.
Fantastic pub in the center of Belfast. It does an excellent lunch menu which is well worth the price weekdays. I ordered the sausage and leek coddle and it was delicious! It is well worth a visit.
K. B.
This was a great find! You feel like you’re stepping back in time. Old old old feel! Best bangers and mash I’ve ever had. Fish and chips were fantastic too!
B. M.
Great bar and great Guinness. The new outdoor area makes for a massive improvement too!
J. M.
Staff are sound as a pound. Nice Guinness too! :)
A. T.
It's been a good fifteen years since I was last in here, thankfully in that time it has improved and seems to have food its niche, dark and cosy with decent Guinness what more could you want from Belfast oldest pub?
M. C.
Quite possibly my favourite bar in Belfast, authentic, great service and atmosphere and fantastic pints on tap. This visit I was joined by friends from London and they loved it too.
M. M. M.
Good pub and great staff. Had a great night and enjoyed the live music which is unusual for me! If it was just a bit cheaper I'd give 5 stars.
M. M.
We were on a bus tour through here and White’s tavern was recommended to us. Unfortunately our visit was on a holiday and they were closing early. We had a beer but did not get to experience the menu so I can’t fully review this until I return sometime in the future!
S. O.
Great historic tavern..with lots of stories..the oldest in Belfast.fantastic atmosphere very quaint, cosy with a blazing fire.Perfect for a cold windy day.Original Lowered bar counter top for the shortest run from cask to flask.Great Guinness.Staff brilliant.friendly and welcoming..with excellent honest to goodness fare! G. G.
Great spot really enjoyed our night out. Door Staff / Bar Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. There was a two piece band there followed by a disco.
P. D.
Great old Belfast bar...friendly staff...well worth a visit
K. “. K.
The oldest pub in Belfast, the whites pub definetly shows this with its cosy and characteristic enviroment. Food was good and came in big portions. You might need to wait little bit to get a table because of its small space, but it will be worth it in the end.
D. M.
Cold, smokey but beer ok
J. D. A.
Great spot for pub-grub, tucked away from the bustle of the main shopping areas. Sunday's they open at 13:00, not noon as Google's hours said. Staff and service are quick, polite and very friendly.
T. W.
My first visit to White's Tavern and it didn't disappoint. Very cosy atmosphere with a varied menu. The food was great and the service couldn't be faulted. I will definitely be back.
B. M.
Nice, live music ...
f.
Great little pub, the staff were deadly and very helpful.
L. K.
Whites Tavern (and the club above it, Vandal) are really great. Vandal's a great venue and the drinks are well priced. The actual bar is nice to sit in and enjoy a pint before heading upstairs.
H. S. (.
Excellent location for food right beside a open fire. Very cosy inside recommend Thursday evening as there is 3 piece band playing 8.30pm trational Irish to R&B. SHMO
E.
Comfy, friendly and warm
l. r.

Z. G.
Oldest pub in Belfast, from 1630 on. Had a great atmosphere, great food, and great live music. Apart from the bridal party that came in too drunk, it was great all around.
J. A.
Enjoyed our first post lockdown pints here. Great atmosphere despite the weather!
M. “. S.
Friendly, professional staff and very nice atmosphere. Always a nice and happy experience. Lovely pub grub and very nice beers and a good selection of rare spirits.
A. H.
Cosy wee pub. Service wasn't fantastic, was a few staff standing about behind the bar chatting while a queue was forming. They also took their time returning with change. but atmosphere was good. And the live music was great.
L.
Lovely traditional bar, great staff food is just ok, better for atmospheric drinks
S. T.
Great atmosphere, lovely staff and delicious food
A. C.
Very nice little pub. Dim lights and the nicest bar man going. Didn't catch his name but a very friendly chap with a beard. Couldn't do enough for me.
E. S.
Lovely cosy place to have a drink or meal
M. B.
Great bar. One of, maybe the oldest in Belfast, I haven't checked that. Not huge inside but very cozy dark old style bar with a real fire. Worth visiting.
K. M.
Had a few beers and some food in the "New Whites Garden" this extends Whites to two establishments In/off High street Belfast Whites Tavern and Whites Garden
D. M.
Wonderful very old traditional pub. Great atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. The drinks not bad either
J. J. C.
Really old bar with a great rustic atmosphere and friendly staff. Great place for a few quiet drinks any night of the week.
Lovely and cosy in the winter and a nice private open outside area for the summer.
S. D.
Good pub. Was quite busy when we went, but got served quickly. Although I didn't eat there, the food looked and smelt good too !
P. C.
Well this place has changed a lot in recent years. And more power to them. When I was here it was very busy and a number of tourists visiting. Unfortunately the beer selection is lacking.
A. 2.
Great cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff
S. T.
One of the best bars I've been to. Lovely pints, beautiful food, good prices and the whole atmosphere is amazing.

m. m. q.
Great food and ambiance.
L. W.
Well worth a visit...took the family there last night - very good. £12 deal Mon-Thurs. Go early for food, check what time their kitchen closes.
E.
