Not selling to capacity so plenty of space to distance if you want/need to. Staff friendly and helpful. As usual, a superb concert and pre-concert interview.

Worked with the CBSO as part of assorted projects featuring my school. Staff and musicians go out of their way to help and are really making music accessible through their community initiatives, breaking down the barriers between an orchestra and young audiences.....quite literally walking amongst them as they perform!! Do yourself a favour and go see them in action. Hairs on the neck stuff once they fire up!! Uplifting and a great day/night out.

Visited for British and Eastern music. A very enjoyable time. Music was traditional from Hungarian region and other eastern countries. Some of the instruments were traditional too. The music was delightful and, in some cases, had people tapping their feet. One of the group playing gave a little display of traditional dancing along with the music. All in all a most enjoyable visit. Would like to see more sessions like this. Both with the eastern music and music from other countries.

Great concert venue for chamber music - brilliant acoustics.

A good place for a lunchtime or small scale concert - or in the case of my latest visit, a pre concert talk. Just at present though, (autumn 2019) it's a bit of a faff to get at, with the alterations to the streets in central Birmingham in preparation for the tramway extension. Bear with them though, it's worth visiting.

Went to see Notelets, special performance for kids. Great idea and lovely musicians who really care. They were so nice wth the kids. Craft beforehand we nice too. Highly recommend going

Listening to the CBSO is awe inspiring. Add to that the symphony hall venue they you are in for a real treat. We have watched numerous performances and each one has been spell binding.

Not really a place. But Symphony Hall, which they inhabit occasionally, is fantastic. I wrote the above when Google asked me to review "CBSO". Something changed, and it now seems the label is correct for this location ("CBSO Centre"). So now my review doesn't make sense.

I almost regret not being there but glad for the close ups & intimacy of watching a totally staggering & absorbing proms concert last night on TV. The Howell I really loved, a person I did not know & the Knussen was an absolute dream. The Elgar has always & always will be a serious favorite & The Sheku Kanneh-Mason took me to another level, other names, always mentioned were irrelevant, this was Sheku's Elgar & thank goodness I've recorded it. Lastly, is it really true or did I miss hear that this was the first time Weinberg has been at the proms. I have some cds but no symphonies & was really taken by it, the performance was breath taking, I did not want the slow movement to end. What a precious gift you have with your conductor. Can't wait for more, thank you so so much !!!!!!!!! Denis RT

This is a wonderful, purpose built, accousticly-integrated building. I attended for a rehearsal but know certain concerts occur here, and it's well worth a visit.

This is Birmingham register office but there are no free parking for cars you have to pay and display the tickets
