Reviews of Hare & Hounds
A. G.
Great live and DJ events venue. The sound in this place is top. Friendly service and laid back atmosphere makes the vibes there great! The pub itself is equally good for a nice pint out with friends.
L. A.
Great music and vibes. Staff are lovely. Lots of things during the week like quiz night on a Wednesday and blues club on a Saturday. Best espresso martinis 👌
j. k.
Friendly place, good venue. Saw Big Lad, Haq123 and Pink Chips. All great. Beers pricy though. The sound man was excellent, probably the best I've ever heard.
S. L.
Great venue. Grab a good beer, sit in the corner, toe tap to some great live music, and guess how many other customers will wander in clutching a new vinyl from the nearby Polar Bear record shop (hint: quite a few...). One of my faves.
D. P.
Great venue, always a good experience, although the small room can be loud, the sound is well balanced. Drinks available upstairs in each of the rooms as well as good space downstairs and now out on the pavement.
A. F.
One of the best pubs in Birmingham. Shame it was so quiet over Xmas whereas I remember it being the life and soul growing up. Hope it can return its former glory when people actually venture outside
P. M.
First visit here to the pub and venues. Venues are small, intimate and have great acoustics. The pub itself is modern yet nostalgic. I love it! Hope to be there again soon for a pint, gig or both!
K. A.
First visit for the Ruby Turner gig. We ended up staying in the bar until it closed at 2am. Warm atmosphere, good ra ge of drinks to choose from. Definitely on a repeat visit list. Even if it is around 140 miles away from where I live!
J. H.
Excellent Saturday night music event with a mixed age, relaxed n happy crowd.
Amazing pub architecture (more visible downstairs with the lights on) and some proper musical history embedded into the walls, wotz not to love 😀
P. F.
An absolutely fantastic pub and live music venue, great staff and awesome sound
M. R.
Nice venue. Saw a band in the upstairs room which is separate from the pub with it's own bar. You have to park in the side streets so be prepared for a bit of driving around to find a spot.
m. d.
A pub with character and decent ales. It was remarked that the ceiling was stylish. And they seem to have more craft ales recently, which I appreciated. And as always there is frequently some excellent music hosted upstairs.
I. S.
Lucky to have this place on my doorstep. A large Victorian style pub still with many original features melded with an eclectic mix of more modern furniture and fittings. Plenty to drink including some Purity ales and their own branded ale. Plenty of spaces to sit including the back bar at busier times. No beer garden but there is street seating.
All that's great and I've had plenty of good nights here with a very mixed crowd but it's upstairs that the best nights happen. There is a full schedule of live gigs, djs, regular theme nights, parties, video game nights, you name it. Only two rooms, neither of them massive, but so much going on. Over the years I've been to great parties and gigs upstairs and the atmosphere is always great. You can catch all sorts of bands outside the mainstream, some on their way up, some who've been at it for decades, all musical styles and even the more popular folk acts booked by Fletchers opposite play her for the bigger venue. Great sound system and proper old school lack of backstage - all bands have to walk through the crowd eventually!
M. P.
I had a great Saturday afternoon in here watching the schemers in the saloon bar, if I lived closer I would go here much more often
P. A.
Great live events with some amazing talent. Definitely worth a visit. Cool alcohol and soft drink prices
S. R.
Love it for gigs. Pub has a good range of beer
C. S. F. M.
Hare&Hounds is a place where you only can go for a beer. They do not have many other choices and that is the only reason why I only gave 3stars.
Apart of that, STAFF IS ALWAYS AMAZING that is why I still go there. And maybe that is why they still busy everytime!!!
The pub is beatifull inside and the area outside is nice, with good place to stop and drink. It is just sad because they really have potencial to be the greatest pub in that area...but on my opinion they need food and more choices for drinks (non alcool).
Well done to the staff!
L.
Great venue for live music. Bar downstairs is really nice.
U. A.
The best small live music venue in Birmingham
P. T.
great night of live music, staff were very rushed to start with but did an outstanding job to serve everyone. Will definitely be back again soon.
H. B.
Great pub always packed out Great staff fantastic music venue upstairs
K. A.
Great place for bands, got to be up there as one of the best places in Birmingham, had to get to without a car, parking can be tricky at times
A. A.
Lovely boozer and gig venue made all the better for having the lovely Attic Intuition on tap.
G. H.
Great traditional bar. Good beer. Good service. Nice and warm.
C. A.
Had a great night watching Ruby Turner, then enji a relaxing drink in the bar downstairs, a pub I'd visit again.
N. S.
Saw a brilliant live show here tonight (SLOCOCO). Amazing venue, great vibes!!!
V. M.
Had a great night. Fun crowd. Fab sets. Thanks. Who won the raffle though? 🤞😂
j. c.
Went to see a couple of bands upstairs. Great venue, opposite the bus stop, & staff friendly : )
M. L.
My favourite concert venue, bar none.
The pub downstairs is fantastic, serving great beer, beautifully restored too. They do interesting pop up food offerings frequently as well. A great Birmingham institution!
D. S.
I went to the Hare & Hounds for an event called Brukup, so Iwas only there from 10pm. It's a busy pub with 2 function rooms upstairs and a large bar downstairs. The clintele are mostly under 40 y/o and there is a friendly vibe about the place. Security staff are in attendance as you would expect for a venue that closes at 3am, and the are courteous and respectful. The bar staff must love working here as they are constantly smiling! If you're attending an event here then you will have hit a funky hotspot. 10/10
p. t.
Alll sorts of bands here in the top room indie rock pop and covers a good night if your looking to watch a band
N. D.
Went for a gig there but had an opportunity to have a couple of drinks before the show. Good array of drinks on and lovely to see Orchard Pig on tap as a massive fan. Prices reasonable for Brum. Gig rooms are upstairs and are cosy and intimate when watching an act and from experience get hot and jumping one the crowd warms up! Good night and great place.
J. B.
Went to see Joe Lycett in one of the upstairs rooms & it was amazing!
Had a drink in the main pub before too, amazing staff who are not just knowledgeable but very friendly & welcoming to all.
Cocktails were really nice, old fashioned, mojitos, espresso martinis, all expertly made & delicious.
Will definitely be returning to this venue soon
E. K.
Great venue in a very vibey area.
Pleasantly surprised.
Even better having seen one of the best bands I've seen in years there, "Screaming Females" we're a tight sounding group, talented musicians, just brilliant.
J. A. P.
Great for gigs Top beer. All good.
K. P.
Visited for a gig (Bob Log III) and it is my perfect type of venue; small and intimate but excellent acoustics. The staff were lovely, and they have Stowfor Press on tap!
M. Y.
Brilliant venue. Good sound, good beer and friendly staff and atmosphere 👍
t.
Great music venue. Friendly staff. Beautiful pub.
S. G.
Nightmare to get to but well worth the time and effort you invest to reach this beautiful grade 2 listed building, where some brilliant bands have played, beer and staff are decent tooooo.
D. J.
Nice venue...EXPENSIVE beer 8 pints of Camden Hells Lager ...£44 😭
A. W.
Went for the blues night, amazing atmosphere and great selection of craft beers!
M. R.
Brilliant venue for live music upstairs..and a lovely pub downstairs
S. R.
Very good, not equiped for a large amount of people fire hazard.
D. W.
Cool intimate venue in trendy Kings Heath.
Always a decent calendar of gigs.
A. W.
Great place to meet, have drinks and watch music. Good selection of draught beers too.
J. W.
Best pub in brum but don't tell anyone

Great venue for a new video shoot. The guys ther are just so accommodating and easy going. Pity the bar was unavailable, we will be back when Paradise Circus can play to a live audience. Thanks from all at paradisecircusuk
A. M.
Canny boozer that attracts a decent crowd and has some good new bands on weekly.
E. “.
Great night. Bar, live music
M. R.
Hare and Hounds, all good with great staff and lovely stay. Recommended for a great time
P. C.
Great venue for gigs and nights out with friends
R. F.
Brilliant live music venue
P. S.
One of the best venues left in the Birmingham area. Always great sound, great pub too downstairs with gigs every week upstairs.
D. W.
Great venue amazing atmosphere
S. M.
Good beer and great service! Loved the atmosphere xx
T. W.
Birmingham's best kep secret! The best small music venue around, a really great place.
L. T.
Friendly, crowd a lot of excitment
B. C.
Had heard so much about the place so it was a joy that when I finally went it was so cool. Really good venue for concerts; several rooms and break out areas to suit whatever size event . Love the Victorian tiles on the walls as well. It's also great that the venue supports do many local groups and festivals.
M. O.
One of the best pub/gig venues in Brum
P. M.
Fantastic pub and above all else a fantastic music venue, 2 rooms, close up and personal to the bands. Perfect
A. O.
Great pub, good night out
A. B. C. B.
Concerts, good beer, great music, polite staff and great atmosphere! What else can you ask for…
K. C.

d. h.
Saturday afternoon live music is back and it's great
R. S.
A real English pub. Great decoration, great drinks, great mix of people. Friendly, fun & normal priced drinks. Everyone goes to Hare & hounds 😀
M. R.
Just a fantastic little venue really good for intimate gigs 👌
N. S.
It's a proper pub. Good range of beers & ales. All the other drinks you'd expect these days too. Though not a cocktail in sight!
Excellent venue for music & comedy. I even did a stand up comedy course here, then performed.
Lots of wood, feels like nothing's changed since the 1920's. Clearly popular with locals & those from further afield. Apparently you might even see the odd well know musician sipping a pint looking for the next big thing.
W.
This is a great pub with live music and events every night of the week. My favourite is blues club with is run in the back bar every Saturday. It's free to enter, runs from about 5pm to 8pm and features some fantastic local musicians. Sometimes they travel a good distance, sometimes it is blues. It can be rock, country, funk, pop, disco... It varies. You can only guarantee it will be great and the vibe is friendly, dancey and lovely. Members of all the local most successful bands will turn up from time to time. You name them, one of them has turned up and probably performed at Blues Club sometime. 🙌
D. J.
Ubu on draught and the beautiful talented girls of Soeur blasting out awesome tunes ably supported by Birminghams own Outlanders and yr Poetry. A great night out.
T. H.
Fell in love with this venue on my first visit. Fantastic old pub downstairs and decent live music venue upstairs. Sound was good for the one gig I saw. Building is also cool and gives the whole experience an extra vibe.
M. C.
Amazing place. Amazing manager. Amazing drinks. Amazing staff. Amazing nights in the venue x
A. B.
Great crowd friendly staff and a good music scene. Drinks are over priced and could do with a bigger range of proper beer but the Hare & Hounds branded IPA was nice enough
If you want a good music scene look no further. If you're in it for the beer and corner to sit in then there are better pubs nearby
j. r.
Great pub and gig venue
J. G.
Really great pub, fantastic environment, and friendly staff. The drinks selection is pretty extensive, and all in all the place lives up to its well deserved reputation. The only downside for me is the lack of parking, driving to this venue can be a bit of a lottery even on a weekday, but apart from this a fantastic place to grab a drink.
E. E.
Love this place, such a great local. Always a fantastic atmosphere. Events are always amazing. Music is always great. Drinks are great prices and they have a pretty Decent range of alcohol. Staff are friendly. Weekends are perfect for your catch ups with mates. Definitely recommend Hare & Hounds Kings heath 😉
I. G.
Best small venue in the Midlands
S. j. (.
Awesome venue! Perfect atmosphere. Pat Dam Smyth beautiful. Amazing voice and so original and personable! He took time to speak to us and was very warm and friendly.
The Villagers, they never disappoint!! Outstanding! Could have listened to these 2 acts all night!! Loved it!! 😍 😍 🎶🎶
A. O.
Excellent small but friendly venue with great sound quality.
j. h.
Great pub even better atmosphere..
Band excellent
A. R.
Great vibe in the pub very mixed crowd everyone happy. Been going for while on the weekends and not seen any trouble. Also good acts are generally very good so draw a big crowd although can get a bit hot upstairs
R. R.
Brilliant night great atmosphere
A.
Went to a gig here and was a bit miffed that we'd paid for tickets but there wasn't anyone on the door checking them. Good selection of beer and ale. Nice old pub with original features, but still popular with a younger crowd.
K. P.
An intimate venue to see musicians up close and personal. The sound has always been excellent, the people are friendly and always give the artists a great atmosphere in which to play. The only minor downside isn't the venue but the lack of parking nearby.
R. C.
I went to the hare and hounds after a family due down the road. I went for a cigarette and when I came back they had closed the section I was in. My drink was removed. I spoke to the bouncer to see where my drink was. My drink was removed so the bouncer go me another drink. Fantastic service. Couldn't believe what he done. Fantastic guy
s. p.
Beer not too expensive. Good stage. Apparently the sound on stage wasnt good but hopefully that gets sorted.
Good choice of drinks. Venue was nice and warm on a freezing cold night.
Two bands on in separate rooms with no sound cross over which was good.
G. B.
A great place. Traditional pub. Large old Victorian building of great character with decorative wall and floor tiles in the hallways and wooden floors in the bars of which there are several. Touch of spit and sawdust about them. Convivial atmosphere. And upstairs, a number of rooms with stages for theatre and music gigs. Regular programmes. Most importantly good beers; real ales that are well served.
R. L.
Lovely atmosphere, whether you want a quiet drink on a weekday night, or are looking to get dancing at the weekend. Two venue rooms upstairs with a constant stream of different music events, there really is something for everyone.
M. L.
The place is mainly for people who want to discover some local music. There're two venues upstairs playing almost every night and downstairs is a typical pub serving good beers at a decent price. There's also a room for pub quizzes among other things. Don't expect to by food in there though.
G. H.
Cool venue which is local and not any shabby little pub as it actually consists of two lower pub areas of a medium size but saying that I always find it 3/4 full on a average night and pretty much jammed on weekends (separate smoking area outside).
Hare and Hounds hosts artists and bands you would never imagine seeing playing in a pub but yes it is its on little live performance arena of some of your most popular music which is fantastic because 9/10 you will get to meet the artist too.
What have I missed...? Of course performances are not played downstairs, we go upstairs... Where you will find 3 function rooms starting from small, medium, large so whenever there is a free event take advantage because you'll have a great night.
Drink and food prices are average and general atmosphere is welcome to all.
S. S.
I went with a friend to watch a band. I am acquainted with some of the members, but my friend knows them better then I do.
The pub is well known for the entertainment and it draws all types of people. It is a very hip pub!
Unfortunately , l don't visit enough.
N. H.
Excellent venue. Music, beers and proper pub interior.
N. T.
Been here a few times, decent drink menu and nice atmosphere.
A. M.
Best music venue in Birmingham

The Hare and Hounds - I absolutely love it!
Went here for the first time over the weekend to see Joe Goddard and it was one of the best nights out I have had in a very long time! I do not throw that phrase around very often, so the Hare and Hounds is VERY special!!
From the outside it looks like your traditional boozer, there are a couple of bars downstairs where you can sit and chill, and then upstairs there are two rooms that play host to various club nights, DJ's and bands. The general vibe of this place was wicked! It's somewhere I could see myself going to quite often, whether it be for a chilled out pint with my mates or a proper night out!
Everyone here was really sound from the the bar staff and door staff to the crowd. Brilliant vibes all around really! I don't know what else I can say to reiterate what a great place this is! Definitely worth checking this place out!
S. R.
Went to a concert in the upstairs room. Nice intimate venue. No ale on draught upstairs and only had a few bottles. Fine if you like lager though
Didn't really experience the rest of the pub.
S. C.
One of the most musically diverse live music venues. As well as being a lively pub they also hold club nights in their many rooms which are also available to hire.
J. J.
Excellent pub with two great live music venues upstairs covering all music genres. Sometimes for everyone. Friendly staff and good beer. Favourite pub!
b.
Had a lovely gourmet meal with my missus, lovely posh restaurant, saw England beat the Germans on the telly just like the good old days
J. U.
I love old traditional pubs with cosy corners to hide away in. We spent a nice hour in here sheltering from the rain outside. Good array of drinks and a great vibe.
S. D.
The pub is very traditional and they have live music, but unfortunately there are people who smoke those cigarettes outside which is not a good look for the pub. It is a lovely looking pub.
A. S. (.
Incredible bar, legend status
S. T.
The Hare and Hounds is a great music venue and pub. There is a wonderful selection of musicians performing several nights a week. There is also this Saturday afternoon Blues Club which is free admission and great for those who like the blues. It's not really a place for serious beer drinkers.
D.
Good venue, amazing friendly staff including security
R. T.
Venue was just the right size good music and atmosphere was very good..
1st rave since lockdown ended very good
P. a. S. L. “.
A set back in time pub with old school interior such as Victorian tiles, wooden bar and frame work through, brass etc. A vibrant cosy pub with the sounds of chit chat and distant sound of a live band from a joint room. Loud enough to hear, not so loud you can't hear one another. Good Guinness and moderately priced.
M. B.
The pub is traditional and large. Good detection of ale. The gig room upstairs has the best sound system I have heard and is highly recommended.
S. K.
Drinks are london prices. Vibes good though
A.
We go here at the end of everything term and there are usually about 10 of us. We usually call the day before and they are happy to reserve us an area in the pub. Some of us eat, all of us drink, good food portions and not expensive. Friendly helpful staff and great chilled back atmosphere.
K. R.
A gem of a venue hosting former heavyweights as well as the niche cool of the music scene. The venue brings in acts from all genres from folk to reggae to electrionica to hip hop. Surprisingly varied, both UK and international acts.
Always worth checking out, even if to just try something new considering the low ticket prices
R. A.
Great pub with loads going on!
M. H.
Great art nouveau bar, nice mix of old and young folk milling around, fairly speedy service. There are two gig rooms upstairs, of which I've only been to one - it was fine: smallish, good sound, nondescript decor.
A. P.
Beer is very expensive here, but a traditional British music venue. They have a real combination of people here. Lots of different music events too, worth a look!!! 3 stars for coat of night out there is extortionate!!
*. E. *.
It's alright abit dead. If you are in your late 30s, 40s and up then this is the place for you. Lol. Got a snooker table and loads of seating n TV on wall for sports or whaf ever. The music isn't really up to date. The garden is chilled not rowdy and pack out and I love the light heater. It was freezing out when I went, typical but standing under that heater was amazing! No problem with staff or drink prices (decent/standard)
A. H.
Absolutely great all round bar and music venue, always great line up of music and always free music options as well as paid available. Prices sloghtly on the higher side for the area but well worth it for the atmosphere.
B. L.
Great music venue 👍👍
R. W.
Cracking venue. Great Atmosphere
M. S.
Can't wait to find the occasion to go again, out of this world
V. S.
Two large bars serving several types of beer and larger. Some famous bands have played upstairs. No food served. Excellent staff look after your needs.
J. H.
Fantastic place. An essential for any first timer to Birmingham. Eclectic and forward thinking music played there regularly. Historical but keeping with the times. Bang on boozer
P. R.
Ohhh I Loved it here !!
The show they had On was just Gorgeous !
Met soo Many Beautiful People there and the Vibes were Off the Roof !!
Enjoyed every moment of it !
The Place is also huuuuge ,with a Fancy Bar downstairs and A Great Venue place on Top Floor x #cool !
I can't wait to go back there and enjoy it even more, maybe even do a gig, who knows x
Much Love 💛♥🙏✨
M. -. S. C. T.
Fantastic traditional pub, recently refurbed to a high standard. Hosts a wide variety of live music events upstairs in the two function rooms. A jewel in the crown of brummie pubs, five stars !
M. J.
Seen some amazing musicians at this brilliant, friendly and intimate venue. Damien Jurado, Simone Felice, Kevin Morby, Nathaniel Rateliff, Delta Spirit, Willy Watson, Low Anthem, Hiss Golden Messenger.... A really special place for music fans.
M. S.
Great pub! Has a really traditional section which is lovely and then a newer more open space section with another bar and then a music space upstairs that is meant to be fantastic
M. M.
Love this place, great music for a good price, staff are great, check out there website for what's on there
C. B.
Always a joy! Wish the beer tasted a bit nicer though 😂
L. V.
Would have been a great pub and ABBA night if it wasn’t full of 16year olds elbowing you in the back and gurning kids on ket. I felt sorry for the older people who were in their prime during the ABBA stage, trying to have a good night but completely pushed out by the underaged.
J. C.
Really quirky pub live music venue. Intimate upstairs rooms and great range of drinks. Parking isn't far away on the surrounding streets and car parks
D. T.
Nice enough. Lots of young and stuff like that.
S. B.
Such a great night, it's makes such a difference having bouncers who are friendly, it changes the night completely. Thank you to all the staff at the hare and hound for the emo disco, it's been so long since I've had a night out like that, couldn't fault it for a second. WE LOVE YOUUUU xxxxx
E. B.
Great venue for music lovers, beer expen sive, but good service and a good place to visit if you want to listen to live music or chill out in one of the quieter rooms downstairs
D. W.
Great music venue. We saw Simone Felice & he was excellent. Reasonable prices drinks great acoustics what's not yo like?
G. R.
very good club night
B. S.
The bar itself is pretty basic, its a plain rectangular room with tables and chairs, a bar in the corner, but the atmosphere is great and they host events like a great comedy night, so it evens out to be a nice watering hole.
R. H.
Love the Hare and hounds Adam does a fantastic job of putting on a range of diverse music acts they get some great bookings always aware of new current stuff and we'll loved favourites
F. P.
Loved it here. Brilliant venue, very helpful techs and lovely bar staff. Had a great gig, and will recommend to others!
H. D.
Came here for Sunday lunch which was just awful. However, I visited prior to this and was really impressed so maybe caught them on a bad day... good menu choices, thus, 3 stars - worth a try.
B. N.
This is a fantastically historic place in the heart of kings heath, it can be a bit of a nightmare to park on weekends. But there is always somthing going on, it's a deceptively large building with some great little nooks and crannies for you to hanf out with friends. The drinks are Birmingham prices but the staff are always very friendly. There is an outdoor snaking area too.
R. P.
Great live music venue upstairs. The bar is a nice place to relax at and get a drink. Not too expensive as well.
D. W.
This and the prince are probably the two best pubs in Birmingham.
The front room of the Hare is great. Curved wooden bar with leather seats and station clock.
Unfortunately they've turned the back room into some drive-bar style UB40 shrine. Waste of the beautiful interior
D. H.
A gem of a venue in Birmingham! Great beers, service and amazing gigs all year round. Get online and find a show to go too!
J. M.
Nice beer, good local crowd during the day when it is pretty relaxed and then obviously busier upstairs and in the bars too when the live music and other events are on.
C. S.
Fantastic live music
J. H.
Always a mint night here, look out for the Heritage nights in the club upstairs
R. V.
Just a note to thank the Leftfoot team at Hare & Hounds Kings Heath (Matt, Adam & Ellie) for the way they organised and facilitated EMIKA's Birmingham leg of her 2019 UK winter tour, on Dec 4, at the venue. Myself and Ema couldnt have been more happier and very grateful to have been allowed to perform at an acclaimed venue within the city. Thank you so very much. Ray*
C.
OK as music venue and they have good stuff on, there aren't enough toilets for so many people and not all are working. Not in a great area.
R. C.
Came here to see Ben Montague perform. great little pub, very old and vintage atmosphere. I would definitely recommend seeing artists here. However the floor in the first room is not the best.
J. H.
Sound is bloody excellent. Great gig venue. The pub downstairs serves good beer. How music and beer should be
N. C.
Best music venue in Birmingham, bar none. Great acts, great beer, great vibe. Nice little courtyard out the back too. Real boozer
P. L.
Place is ok but not the epicenter of hipsterism ithey'd have you believe.
They put some good and varied bands on though if you can tolerate the ridiculous beer prices.
D. H.
Great night of old music and George Michael. As we hadnt bought a £4 ticket in advance we were charged £8 each on the door this seemed a little excessive tbh. Great atmosphere though
D. B.
Great place if you are looking for some local music. I take down one star for the fact that the beer we've had wasn't very good.
T. D.
Loved it here .. brilliant to think this pub is supporting up n coming bands .. fantastic atmosphere in there .. any chance you get to go I'd highly recommend it
M. F.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Easily one of my favourite live venues and, with its support for up-and-coming bands, well-deserved of its live music pedigree.
B.
Love this place wicked vibes as always and lovely staff made my night thank you!!
J. G.
Great venue, it's good to be back.
A. P.
Great live music, good vibe. Nice place to pop in and have a couple of drinks
D. M.
Brilliant atmosphere a brilliant sound system. Dj zinc.
E. C.
Good clean pint n great venue place..like how they are trying to keep the drug users out of the establishment..shame it's not got much atmosphere during the day
M. M.
Excellent old Victorian pub with original tiling on the walls. Good choice of beers, from the usual lagers to real ales, IPAs etc.
P. P.

Great pub, fanatic venue for live music. Loads of local bands. Recommend to anyone.

A fabulous ESSENTIAL GEM of a pub-small live venue(2 great rooms). I absolutely LOVE it here. Travel up from South Worcs (it takes me back to great venues of its kind I used to frequent in the late 70s-same vibe-passion-like minded people...but which sadly are no more and nationally in decline 😦). Saw Blancmange last night. SUPBERB! What a treat; and a wonderfully modest gorgeous gent Neil Arthur is. Please come back. 😀. And damn and blast Gwenno was on the same night. Sooooo gutted...really wanted to see her (as so many in the queue for Blancmange were saying the same). Please H&H bring BOTH back...soon. 😉
J. B.
