L. D.Great comedy venue but it's in a state of disrepair. Water leaking from the ceiling, buckled wooden floors that are a health hazard and worst of all no food. I think once they throw some money at the place it'll be fantastic.
Also, they've got one of them blokes in the toilet that tries to sell you a squirt of aftershave. All pubs need to stop doing that. It's creepy.

R. F.The acts were excellent. Food (Although limited to pizzas) looked good. Bar service wasn't the quickest, although to be fair we managed to get drinks during intervals without missing and of the show. The most disappointing points were the lack if anything on draught (fault with the pumps) and the cost of bottles (4.75, maybe I'm out of touch!). The doors were quite late opening and the first act was over half an hour late starting.
Having said that the venue is very nice, tickets for the gig were very reasonable and we had a great night, I would recommend it.
K. C. F. p. h.We had a fantastic comedy night here - three really good comedians, plus the compere Hayley was very funny. Great atmosphere and lighting. Bar was quick service. Seats a bit cramped unless you're on a private table or booth, plus the table collapsed halfway through the night!
Apart from that though we loved this place - an even better atmosphere than the Glee club if that's possible.
A. M.Been here twice, both times the staff have been very welcoming. They have had very good comedians on both occasions. Drink prices are fairly priced, as you would expect on broad street. Also the breaks are just the right length of time for everyone to sort out another round.

B.We’ve come to the comedy loft for the first time come in with an open mind and I am not going to rate this on the comedian, because comedy is subjective and the night would be different for everyone. The atmosphere was buzzing and rowdy, but not to the extent that would make the evening unsettling The main room was packed, however it was spacious with plenty of seating for everyone that came for the laughs. The room was cooler than expected, fortunately I am a winter person and it suited me perfectly. The sound from the DJ was a little too loud, however the microphone from the host and the comedians was perfect and clear. The show consisted of 4 acts ( including the host ) and two 15 minute intervals, so everyone had time to have a drink, order food or use the facilities. I did not order food so I cannot comment on food quality. Drinks were fairly priced, just as you would expect the drinks to be priced on broad street birmingham. Customer service in my experience was friendly, my girlfriend suffers with anxiety, and was given the option a seat to be further from the stage and crowds and were in fact welcoming to accommodate us. even the bouncers at the door that evening. The acts were of course funny, we left with a few good jokes, smiles on our faces and pain in our jaws from laughing too much.
I would give the ComedyLoft 3 stars. The stage area was spacious for a good crowd. The facilities such as the toilets, and the bar floor were not the most hygienic they could be. The comedians were funny and entertaining. The pricing of seats on the website were indeed confusing, due to metal stools with no table option were more expensive than cushioned private booths. Personal advice unless anyone wants to sit right next to the stage, then order a standard seat.
L. W.Comedy was great good atmosphere food wasn't so great...I'd recommend eating before you go....downstairs in Rosies the drinks are half price until 10pm. Also the venue is above a bar called Rosies there are no signposts outside detailing this and the door to the comedy loft just looks like a closed up business....better signposting would be great

wen we arrived we was greated by the doorman very friendly.
Got to reception and the guy who checked us in was also very friendly an we was shown to our table we was very close to the front which was a bonus for us.
The place was clean and well set up i was worried as we was travling from milton Keynes and after reading the reviews they wasnt that great but actually we had the best night drinks were a little over priced but you get that in most comedy clubs pretty standard...
Everything was so organised and staff were there to help and very friendly. Thanks for making our night ellie an andy xx
C. G.Decent comedy night here. Compare was Kane Brown and I forget the other names, but it was 3 guys. The comedy itself was fresh and on the whole very funny. Drinks prices at the bar were extortionate. £9.60 for two pints. Food choice of pizza was tasteless, it was like eating cardboard and the cheese was almost painted on - no taste.
I would probably go back but definitely bring my own snacks and drinks.

F. S.Been to this club a few times to watch Comedy and always had a great experience. Recently been ovehalled and must say they have done a lovely job. Room is more intamate for comedy with new booths and screens and particularly like brick wall effect, compliments the comedy feel to the place. Food is reasonably price and drink are on par with venues in Broad Street. Great to see 4 comedians that cater for different genres of comedy from observational to blue. Staff were helpful from the start and throughout the night. Definitely go again and again.
M. T.Bit dissapointed that the website and the place didn't really up. The website states there is a selection of food available to order so when we went we decided to just eat while watching the comedian's. When we turned up we were told there was no food left, maybe some pizza and to speak to the lady upstairs. When we spoke to her she again said no to which I said it was not on and we were starving. She magically got us the 'last pizzas'. They were nice but basic and way to pricy for what they were.
Besides that the night we went, 2 out of 3 comedians were hillarious and the compar was amazing. Everyone wanted her to stay on stage cause she was that funny.
Drinks were nice too and even better as it was happy hour.
So besides the lack of food, it was a good night.
G.Great venue and a really good night - word of warning though... If you have people in the group who are smokers and go outside after the comedy night, make sure they have ID as they will not be allowed back in after 10pm.
E. I.The queue to get seated was ridiculous. Got there 7:25pm but didn’t get seated 8:05pm. It was just silly the whole seating process

As to how funny the show was, I didn’t find the acts all that funny but my boyfriend did
