We had booked at another local venue for a work night out but decided to leave there due to the lack of atmosphere. I headed across to popworld and spoke to the Manager Wayne to see if we would be welcome as a group of 20. Not only were we welcome, Wayne even cordoned off an area for us to use. We got there at 11pm and there was already a great atmosphere. The place was pumping and there were plenty of people dancing already. The bar staff were plentiful and very happy. They served drinks quickly and the drink prices were very reasonable. They helped with all of my requests for ice buckets and shots. One of the girls in the group had sore feet and i was even able to buy her a pair of flip flops! There was a lady doing face glitter at a very reasonable price and a photographer doing the rounds. Everyone in our group had an amazing time and no one felt the need to move elsewhere as we were all having such a great time. There was zero bad attitude from either the staff or the visitors which is rare on a night out these days. Everyone seemed to just be out to have a great time! I can throughly recommend Popworld Birmingham and will be using them for team nights out again in the future.

Fabulous night out for my mom’s hen-do here, they had party bags and loads of decorations and merchandise on the tables, sweets galore, really grateful to these guys for such a great night. Really want to thank Ella for how attentive she was and making our night even better 🥰

Last night I went to pop world. Whilst waiting in the queue for entry there was a man outside who had been kicked out. He tried to force entry into the club to get to a woman. At first I was a bit scared by the situation, but how Sophie at pop world dealt with the situation was amazing and left me feeling safe and inspired. Sophie quickly reacted to the situation in a calm and collective way. She ensured the man left the club in a way that did not antagonise him. When the man started shouting, she did not start a fight. She continued her job calmly in a respectful manner and attended the other customers. This is honestly the best people management I have seen on a night out. Sophie truly handled the high pressure situation in the best way possible.

We had such a brilliant night at popworld last night, the manager was amazing, it was raining outside and he handed out umbrellas to the people outside and checking on everyone. Lovely atmosphere, lots of useful staff and security guards, very beautiful venue 10/10

It’s alright. The tunes are retro and kind of your mums 2000s bop list. Free entry and the place is big stretching two floors. Personally I prefer other places due to the music style but if you like cheesy pop you can’t go wrong.

Ain't no party like a popworld party! I've only been coming recently but now I don't go anywhere else, the vibe here is really welcoming. Staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Karla and Sean- they're my faves. The only issue I have with popworld is one of the security team, Stanley. The first time I came, he dragged me back by my hair and tried to dance inappropriately with me. The second time when I mentioned his previous behaviour he began stroking my hair telling me how soft it was. If I wanted that I would've gone to the hairdressers, I just wanted to dance. That small detail doesn't take away from the fact that Popworld is one of the best establishments in Birmingham to have a fun, cheap and safe time.

When we arrived it was still free entry, which is always a plus. It already had quite a few people there and steadily filled up throughout our time there. The music included many pop bangers from the past and present like the spice girls, Michael Jackson, Sean Paul, Rihanna etc. The disco lights, wall and floor is a great cheesy touch which helps make the night such fun.

Popworld Birmingham, great place to have a drink, have a dance, and have a laugh. Fantastic music policy, spoilt only by the prat of a DJ. Bouncers are firm but fair, engaging in banter and letting us finish our 'party hat of cocktail' before begrudgingly evicting us at the DJs request. The toilet attendant watched me having a poo over the cubicle door 'to make sure I wasn't taking drugs'

Myself and my wife went here yesterday we are both visually impaired we had a good night very accessible to get to the toilet and easy enough to get onto the dancefloor Music was very good drinks very cheap but I have to say the Dorman didn’t have a clue what he was doing he asked asked for ID which was fine which we had in my wife’s handbag he Casey we were by visually impaired as we have steaks he said he’ll let it off this time and I insisted are you sure he said that’s fine made a comment saying he didn’t think my wife was a really age of 18 as she is tiny she went to get her ID out and he said no they still didn’t believe she was at the age of 18 I said well she is is over the age of 18 but didn’t believe me and really upset my wife

The lighting is nice with a coloured lighting dance floor. There is another floor with a balcony type view of main dance floor. There is also a VIP area overlooking the first floor and main dance floor. As usual in clubs of this nature there is a limited beer selection.

Great music but the place was definitely over capacity with more people still being let in. Bar is in a terrible position with you having to fight through the dance floor crowd to get there and as soon as you got a drink you lost half of it due to being shoved by the crowds
