Check in and check out is slow. Need more people at the desk to attend to customers. Room was spacious and had basic amenities. The bed and pillows were very soft and comfy. Floors are pretty quiet however there is vehicular traffic noise because it's located in the middle of the city centre. The restaurant has a great ambience and food was very tasty. The breakfast is buffet styled with hot and cold options. Most of the staff are really friendly. It is located just 2 mins from the train station and the Bullring mall. It's good value for money overall.

Upon arrival we were greeted with the most delightful person named Shaun. He was super helpful and just simply wonderful to speak with. All the staff were extremely helpful and polite, nothing seemed like too much trouble for them. We enjoyed a really pleasant stay, the hotel was lovely, breakfast was yummy and no mad rush...definitely staying again.also located very close to all amenities.

Best bit; such lovely staff in the restaurant, negative; not quite having the smiliest face on reception. Chap could have been a bit warmer and communicated the breakdown bill a bit clearer. But aside that, good value and clean with ample food choices for breakfast. Don't expect Radisson Bloomsbury but worth staying here as it's pretty central and wonderfully quiet. Beds comfortable too.

We stayed in a "superior room with city view" on floor 17. The room was a good size, clean and had two seats and a table. The view of the city was great through the full length windows and we sat for a good while just watching the world go by down at ground level. The staff were very courteous and helpful and made us feel welcome. The room had a good shower and tea/coffee supplies with a kettle. The noise from outside wasn't intrusive, just a barely discernible background hum that was a similar level to the air conditioning. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nice view from our suite up on the 15th floor and the bed was like a cloud of cotton wool. The decor is completely lacklustre and plain. The entrance and the bar are drab and completely uninviting. Surprising given the ostentatious exterior. Our stay was ruined by our car being smashed into and ransacked by some lowlife in their suggested car park behind the hotel. ( NCP new street) Not secure in any way, no cameras and no attendant. Also the hotel's code was unusable at the entrance.

The original room smelled very misty, because the carpet was sodden. We were moved to a bigger corner room on the top floor, which was good.
Breakfast was poor for the price, many elements barely reaching Wetherspoons standard

For a city centre hotel and part of a large group it's a bit disappointing. Covid accepted (it's been difficult for hospitality) it's in need of some TLC, its tired!
On the plus side, it's it a great location and the staff are marvelous
R. A.
Room as expected. However there was coffee stains splashed on the wall and skirting board. Had to ask for these to be cleaned. Found it surprising in these Covid times that it hadn't been wiped down.
J. W.
Not great check in experience, long queue and struggled to find my colleague and I booking details which was disconcerting. Awful lift experience where the key cards failed to make them work. The lovely room was the only good thing.
D. L.
Great hotel in great location for train station, grand central, the mailbox and short walk to bars and restaurants. Large minimilistitc bedroom with excellent view (floor 15) of the city ...
A. F.
The hotel is ok, the rooms are nice, breakfast is correct and the food served in the bar is acceptable, even if you don't have a lot of options to pick. The main problem is that nobody cleans your room or renovates the bathroom supplies, even if you stay for a week.
J. S.
Nice hotel, good breakfast. Staff are decent. The Irish bartender will always remember you.

Cant fault this hotel we stayed overnight beautiful appointed rooms so clean great bar even better breakfast huge choices to select definitely my go to place now on any stop over in Birmingham
A. F.
Amazing! Chose to stay here while staying in Birmingham from the good reviews & it was lovely. Our room was very clean and spacious. Rooms were up to date with a modern interior & the bed was so comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful especially on arrival. The location is also superb, walking distance to shops and New street train station. 100% recommend if you visiting Birmingham and if i return i will definitely be coming here!!

We are having the best time at Raddison!
Everyone is so nice and accommodating and make time to greet us every time .
Ionut, Denisa, Daksha and Sean from reception and Saurabh from breakfast are exceptional!
Thank you guys for making us feel at home but with amazing breakfast every morning and down service as well.
We are so grateful for accommodating our curious Chinese sharpei. Thank you 🙏

This place needs maintenance. There's lots of loose parts, mold on grout in the showers, a broken entrance, little niggling things build up to a larger picture of generally needing some love. In some places / hotels you wouldn't really care about this. The problem with the Radisson is that it tries to sell itself to be better than that. When in reality it's just an overhyped view of a roundabout.

Regularly have a meeting at the hotel.
Always get good service. Room is always clean and presentable.
M. K.
Great hotel, beautiful views especially at night. Lovely breakfast selection at night. Simply a wonderful stay.
G. T.
Nice hotel, staff very polite and check in gentleman was helpful. Very reasonable price and room packages available for celebrating. Many thanks
B. B.
Gorgeous rooms, quiet and very well stocked amenities. Close to shops and transport. We go back time and time again.
J. D.
Decent area of the city centre, just try and request a good view if your bothered about looking out the window, although I've never been placed in a room with a lack of view. Plus brill price for members and on Wowcher.
B. M.
First visit, won’t be the last, we stayed in a quiet premium room, so spacious , great city view, only a couple of minutes from the train station. All staff were professional and friendly, A special thank you to Denisa who communicated with me prior to my stay.
Breakfast was delicious, a great variety, the only thing I would recommend is that they advise their customers that vegetarian sausages are available on request.
W. P.
The view over Birmingham is amazing especially at night! However the lad on reception was very slow then when we had a problem with our door rather than just sorting the door they wanted to move room even though we said numerous times we didn't have time to do that as we had somewhere to go. Would defiantly recommend though!

Good hotel decent rooms, good breakfast friendly staff
K. P.
Room fantastic, view from the 17th floor awesome, breakfast very good, Adam who was running the bar and reception as well was very convivial and the service was great. However no restaurant open for the evening means 4 stars not 5
S. N.
The room had an amazing view and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful!
S. A.
Everything we required was catered for.
Very comfortable room and beds, great en suite, will stay again. We had a twin room on the 17th floor. It was lovely.
M.
Our room was facing the main road, because of Saturday night there were sirens (ambulances police cars) all night long. Sound insulation appears to be lacking. We could here traffic in our room. We were on the 9th floor. Best to avoid rooms facing the main roads.
M. C.
Stayed here lots, always good service, clean, excellent standard and great location
A. E.
Loved it! Excellent location for pride & in general. Near by lots of takeaways, restaurants shops etc & also walking distance to Grand Central. 100% recommendation
E. L.
We had a great weekend staying in the Radisson Blu. It is very well located for exploring Birmingham.
The staff were excellent - friendly and Helpful. The room was good size, clean and the bed comfortable. As I am a gold member we were upgraded to a superior room on the 17th floor. The views of the city were amazing.
We had paid for the romance package however this was initially missed but was rectified very promptly when we went out.
Breakfast was in the restaurant and there was a very good spread. All of the continental food was in little individual pots. The first day I ordered porridge - huge serving. On the second poached eggs and my other half had a vegetable omelette made for us.
The barman will make cocktails to order.
The lifts currently only allow 2 people at a time. At one point a couple of the lifts were out of action and there was huge queues so we were taken down in the staff lift.
Overall it was a great stay.

I would say great, but...
I have to mention 2 incidents...
Which, at first made me question the quality of the service and I would have left a 3 star rating, however due to a very professional concierge staff who'm tried to rectify the inconvenience, I will give a 4th star rating in the end.
Alright, now, to explain what had happened;
-Keep in mind, this is my first time ever checking in this hotel, never been in one of theirs before-
I've been booked in for a period of 3 nights.
First night goes well, same goes the second.
Ok, on the third day, went in town around 12ish in the afternoon, the housekeeping staff has been in for their routine check while me being out, when I turned back in the evening, checked the room and everything, I then have noticed that one of my personal towels went missing and one of my bags was left open, but no belongings were taken.
To clarify, the towel, I left it hanging inside the bathroom, yes, it was the same white colour as their's, but it was thicker; and all my bags were left closed, out of the way, so that when the housekeeping staff would go in, to not have a harder job to do with things hanging around everywhere.
However, this being said, I informed the concierge staff, even went personally from the 15th floor to the ground to explain the issue.
I must underline that, the concierge staff has been very professional and very eager to rectify the inconvenience, which I appreciate very much and for that I will give the 4 star rating.
If you're wondering about how it ended....well, here it is:
The towel hasn't been recovered, but its value has been reimbursed.
Regarding the bag being left open, a message has been sent across the board.
I'm curious if anyone else has had any other incidents, or was my bad luck?!

Classic business hotel. Rooms quite attractive but woken up about 3:30am by what sounded like someone practicing on a drum kit. If you are from out of town and travelling by car, please note that parking charges will be £20 to £30 ,per night.
S. J.
Very nice hotel, good location for New Street station and Bullring shopping. Premium room very clean, spacious, air conditioning and all amenities with added bonus of a Nespresso machine. Would stay here again
N. F.
Great location. Clean rooms. Great shower. Shame two singles put together to make a double. Bottle of beer £5 in bar, I know hotels are expensive but I'd expect to pay £5 max for a pint not a 330ml bottle. Breakfast excellent and staff on front of house, restaurant and bar very welcoming.
S. S.
Clean rooms, very polite staff. I truly enjoyed my stay.
I.
Had the pleasure of staying at the 18th floor, absolutely fantastic view. Beds are a bit soft and worn out so i didn't sleep too well, but the room was overall tidy. The amenities and everything necessary like shower gel, shampoo and so on were provided and the Bathroom was spacious, fantastically lit ( great for doing your makeup) and clean. They have plenty of sockets to charge all devices, and so much space in the room it's incredible! The mini table proved helpful for working on a laptop and the staff members are always smiling and polite. A great hotel, highly recommend!

My stay at Radisson Blu Birmingham was pretty good. One of the iconic buildings in Birmingham alongside the famous Cube. The top half is actually a residence with the bottom being hotel rooms. Service was A1. Attentive and accomodating. The rooms are of a high standard, comfy bed and good decor. Shame there wasn't a rain like shower.
While international travel is uncertain, treat yourself to a bit of luxury locally.
B. H.
Staff were brilliant this weekend. The room was well kept & very clean! I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Birmingham!

Went to pick up my niece's belongings which the jotel looked after vert well. Thanks.

Nice hotel, right in the middle of town centre and 5min walk to the Bull Ring
S. A.
Lovely comfortable bed, nice bathroom and lovely hot shower. Breakfast was excellent and poached eggs cooked perfectly. All staff from reception to the cleaners were all smiles, happy and welcoming. The only downside was traffic noise despite being on the 8th floor but what can you expect from a city centre hotel. Definitely recommend this hotel
M. M.
Nice view, a good sized room and a large comfy bed but a bit shabby for a Radisson blu 😯
M. P.
Usual high radisson room standards. A bit lacking in soul, but staff were helpful.
T. K. Z.
Nice Radisson branch, close to Birmingham New Street. Slightly odd location (on a roundabout) and the walls are quite thin in the rooms so you can hear the neighbouring guests and people in the hall way.
D. C.
Okay ... nothing amazing. Rooms quite large and clean. No outside noise to be heard either. Not a single picture on the walls which I thought may have lifted the decor a little.. Bathroom okay. Shower over the bath which I'm not too keen on. TV had a mind of it's own ... turning off and back on again while watching TV. Big comfortable bed, wasn't a fan of the pillows myself but each to their own I guess. Staff all seemed friendly enough. Prebooked breakfast I felt wasn't worth the £12.50 a head but I suppose it's the going rate in a decent hotel. Plates were cold, scrambled eggs had a strange grainy texture (although tasted okay). Reasonable selection of food though but again nothing amazing. Would I stop here again? .. yes although I'd be happy to try alternative hotels too.

Came to stay for the night in Birmingham to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The room was lovely. The minibar was not stocked though (not sure if this was intentional or oversight) but not really an issue as we were heading out.
The only other minor criticism was the shower pressure was a bit low but otherwise it was a good room.
The thing that I feel let the whole experience down was the breakfast service. The staff were inattentive and there were tables everywhere that had not been cleared, while there were two lady members of staff stood about seemingly doing nothing (note only mentioning they were ladies as a guy arrived just as we were leaving assuming he was just off his break and started clearing tables - it was only then one if the other ladies also started clearing tables). My wife tried to order a veggie sausage and I say tried as it never turned up. People arriving were told to sit anywhere. We saw a group of six ladies arrive and they were wondering about for ages as due to the uncleared table situation they couldn’t find a seat. I thought the quality of the cooked breakfast food was a bit below average.
Overall it was a nice stay but I would consider retraining your breakfast team as could do a whole lot better. I don’t usual write reviews but felt I had to after breakfast this morning. So please have a think about that.

Hotel refurbished few years ago. Looks modern with comfortable beds.
Rooms are medium size and the bathroom size was ok. All new tiling. Fridge and safe in the room.
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful with the issues that we had.
No sleepers or bath gowns in regular rooms.
In general, is a basic and functional hotel.
Downstairs lobby bar is slightly slow but with friendly staff.
Handy location next to the train station and few minutes away from high st and Selfridges.
D. T.
Amazing stay! Stayed in a premium room on the 10th floor, such a gorgeous room! Everything was very COVID safe & the staff were more than helpful 🙌🏻 5 minute walk away from the Bullring & 2 minutes from New Street 👍🏼
k. a.
This hotel was fabulous for the price! We got the top floor suite, the views were amazing! The staff were all rrally helpful and great to talk to. we had had a drink in the bar too which was really nice, very chilled atmosphere. Would stay here again.
G. L.
Very pleasant stay all around. The room was extremely comfortable and had every facility you could need; including bathroom products, a hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, a fridge and a safe (plus more). The breakfast was excellent and the staff were first rate. I'd highly recommend it!
S.
I stayed here with my friend in July for a weekend away and although the staff were lovely & the service was great our stay was spoilt but the air con not working correctly. After an hour a fan was bought up by the staff but this was quite noisy and made it hard to sleep! I also think it was bad that every time you ordered room service an additional fee was charged exact time! So I made sure on my second night to order my dinner & dessert together to avoid this. I also think the hotel could’ve benefited from a spa as it was just ok. This hotel is good for a short stay.
H. B.
Beautiful room (the concrete pillars are something else!) and well equipped with everything you need. Superb views of Brummagem and truly excellent customer services.
Had a wonderful stay 😊

I Stay here sometimes when i have to go on shift in birmingham or for a special occasion. i love the rooms their so comfy and nice.
every time me and my husband stay here we are made to feel so welcome. last time was xmas last year and the hotel looked beautiful we had a great time
J. B.
Really lovely hotel, stayed in a superior room which was quite big, the bed was amazingly comfortable. The room had everything you needed, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, tv, bathroom, it even had dressing gowns and slippers for you to use. The staff on reception were really friendly and so was the barman. Breakfast was buffet style and had everything you wanted.
m.
The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and very spacious. Style of the hotel was trendy and modern, the bathroom was clean and television / entertainment system was quite good (miracast enabled). The staff were very helpful and polite at all times. I ate in the restaurant and enjoyed an oversized, but nicely prepared burger. Complimentary drink was a nice touch. The location was great, about 3 minutes walk from the New Street station. I would be happy to recommend this for an overnight stay.

Attention to detail.
I can’t find a single bad thing to say about this hotel. It’s easily accessible from the airport, the rooms are huge for UK standards and still on the large side for US standards. The service is professional, the WiFi works great, it’s very clean with attention taken to clean the spaces in between, and it’s quiet. Something I wanted to mention was I sleep with a fan. I blew the fan I brought from the US on the first night of my trip here when I mistook a power strip for an inverter. This was at another hotel out of the city and they didn’t have a fan I could use so the last week has been terrible for getting a good nights rest. I gave this hotel a call and asked if they had any fans I could use. The gentleman on the phone said they don’t have fans since the hotel is climate controlled with air conditioning but he would put in a request. I didn’t think anything more of it until I walked into my room and the first thing I see is that they left a fan for me on the desk. It’s little things like this that make be very happy and will put this place in a permanent spot as my hotel for future business trips. 5 stars, no argument. Thank you if you work there and are reading this.

Spent my birthday dinner and night out here. Firstly we had a standard double room which was lovely. Clean room, comfortable bed and good view of the city. Nice people checked us in (Thank you Katie and Nico!) And gave us a good start to a lovely night stay! I definitely recommend a stay here and look forward to coming back for either a night getaway or a nice weekend for friends and family!

This hotel is a hype if you ask me. The front of house staff didn't make you feel welcome. The food was mediocre and took what felt like a while to come out like half n hour 😒 the ambiance just wasn't for me. Would of rather went to a different hotel. Depends what you are into really. This just wasn't for me. More of a business stay over hotel. I think the radissons out of town are always better more relaxed.
S. E.
Good location and clean rooms. Breakfast is a must and was excellent.
Staff were friendly. Parking is very expensive at the NCP £27 for 24 hours. and is behind the hotel, you get a small discount if you pay at the hotel desk.
There is a lot of building work in the city area.
K. J.
Excellent staff, very friendly and room was very clean and comfortable. Had an excellent sleep, beds were very comfy more so the pillows. Only downside was the parking which was run by nccp and cost an extra 30 pound for 24 hours so factor this into budget. If wasn't for this would of been a 5 star
M. O.
Second time we've stayed here and we loved it. We even brought our friends here and they loved it!
I sleep so well here, love the bed... wish I could take it away with me.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.
L. L.
I was free-upgraded to a larger room by the girl always with a smile in reception. It was great. For the equipment and position of the hotel, it’s perfect as well. I’ll give a 5 stars for this.
However, I lost my cable in the morning, when I fall back in the afternoon. A male with short black hair in reception asked a man who’s not in the queue and farther than my position towards him before my turn. That’s fine. I have enough time today. After that man serviced, I asked very kindly if they find a white cable this morning. He replied : NO. (WITH OUT EVEN A CHECK!)
I’m quite sure I lost my cable on the desk beside the bed in room 921.
J. A.
Excellent venue with very attentive and considerate staff.
The lunar meeting rooms were a good size and very well lit with natural light. The tech and incidental provided were more than adequate.
The food provided was of a high quality although the coffee urns could use updating - the pumping mechanism seemed unnecessary and not very effective - the drinks were very nice. Especially the fruited waters.
M. S.
Loved the hotel, really modern bar and great bedroom. Got the room on a special offer rate and it was great. Decided to lay in rather than have the breakfast but I heard it was gd. A bit of a walk to Broad Street where we spent the evening but it was OK. This hotel stands right on a major junction and you do get the occasional noise from the traffic but we did get a great view of the dove House below. We will return.
x. x.
Lovely hotel. Nice big rooms with air con which is handy on warmer nights. Friendly staff and good security, check in was quick and easy so we were up at the room within a matter of minutes. Parking on site for those that need it. Beds were very comfy and as we had a room on the outside we also had a full length window so we were able to admire the view in the evening. Breakfast was lovely and a very big selection of food on offer to suit everyone. They had everything from continental breakfast snacks to a self service traditional buffer if you were after a full english! Very happy overall with our stay. Only thing I would say is be careful when booking as prices change quite quick and you may find yourself out of pocket!
J. H.
Great Service, everything we needed was in our room. Also when unfortunately we did have an issue with water pressure for the bath - staff were quick to give us the option to change room. Which turned out to be a massove upgrade for no extra charge.
I'd recommend staying here to anybody (as long as you don't kind heights). Although it is more of a business style hotel, it's a great experience for anyone staying in the city for a weekend
M. A. A. M.
Very lovely and responsive staff. Great breakfast selection with health options. Cozy rooms with great views.
Only bad thing is their pillows. Very soft with no support.
P. D.
Over the past couple of weeks I've stayed in 3 rooms in this hotel, the experience has been good, and mostly ive slept well. Rooms at the front are superior rooms, they are slightly larger and have a good view with more windows. The xx04 and xx20 standard rooms at the rear corners have a unusual but neat layout. xx20 rooms on floors 11 and lower have a view of the neighbouring hotel's wall (but this does block the morning light for a sleep in). Staff are nice and the breakfast is tasty, with a good range of options.
L. M.
Very enjoyable time spent at Radisson Blu Birmingham. Room very clean, spacious and comfortable. Any issues were speedily dealt with. Staff shows genuine care, approachable and friendly.
We had afternoon tea, this was amazing.....
Breakfast.... Wow. Beautiful. Such lovely choices. Overall Very good place to stay. We certainly will go back again. Well done staff. keep up the excellent work
L. N.
Lovely room very cosy. Expected a bit more from the bathroom considering it was a superior room an not a standard. The food was nice, I used room service for my evening meal which was good an breakfast was nice too.
G. B.
This was our first visit to Birmingham and the hotel was easy enough to find with parking available in the NCP close by. The staff at check-in were friendly and the hotel reception had a modern feel too it. The room we were allocated was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable with supportive pillows. We went out for dinner and the hotel is close to amenities such as the Bullring and Mailbox. Breakfast was first rate and once again the staff were friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.
i. x.
Was absolutely perfect! Me and my partner stopped here for my birthday. We also got upgraded as it was my birthday :-) 100% would recommend such a lovely quiet hotel with amazing views. The staff were brilliant and welcoming, Can't wait to stay here again.
K. S.
The location of the hotel was ideal for our stay, with it being very close to shopping and theatre. Upon arrival the service was very good with us being quickly provided with our keys. The rooms however were very disappointing. The general decor was a bit shabby and had not been maintained, bedsheets were creased as though someone had slept there and coffee mugs were dirty. We even found nasal mucus on the underside of a pillow! Could be a great hotel, but unfortunately not maintained to the standard expected.
R. M.
Had building work going on at entrance - however, great hotel. Asked for a room on the lower floors and was given a room with someone requiring assistance etc. Still, the room was great. Good restaurant and bar = also good place to plug in and play on laptop if on business. Would stay again. Book early to avoid steep price.
T.
Great value for money, good sized room and bed. Quiet and safe when staying. Breakfast is good, wide variety of foods. Gym to use too if you are into fitness. Staff are very helpful and attend to you promptly.
S. H.
Hotel is really nice, rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable.
Sean on reception was very helpful.
However rooms were boiling and a/c didnt work, but they gave us a fan to make up for it.
Really enjoyed the night here and would definitely go again.
H. M.
Room was clean and tidy. Nice selection for breakfast. Bed perhaps a bit too soft for some but I enjoyed it and the vast amount of pillows. They leave a little cake in your room for your arrival which is a really nice gesture.
S. K.
Rooms are very basic compared to Malmaison. We upgraded previously and the upgraded room was exactly the same as the normal room.
Air conditioning has been broken on three out of the four times we have stayed recently.
Breakfast is really nice and lots of choice and love the buffet arrangement to have as small or large a breakfast as you like.
Service is slow at check in and staff can be a bit frosty sometimes but who would want to work the night shift.
Bar is nice now its been refurbished.
We have a refurbished room last stay and half the furniture was missing or it was even more basic than before.
Views are fabulous!
Z. S.
Very nice centrally located high rise hotel. Very modern iconic and distinct looking styling. The rooms are modern, clean, functional and good sized all you could ask from a hotel room and reasonably priced for the location. The central location is great so all the amenities of a town centre are all within easy walking distance. Staff are pleasant and helpful.
K. H.
It is what it is! Clean room, which staff were able to get me into earlier than standard check in time.. the downside beibg the view which was a wall however this was not a hotel I was staying in for the view! All staff I had interaction with were unbelievably lovely, which isnt always the case in these bigger hotels! The colleague I was with had a much nicer room but again this hotel is what it is... perfect for business travel in great location close to shops & restaurants & quiet!
P. K.
The best part of this hotel is its absolutely brilliant location. It is as ‘in the centre’ of Birmingham as it gets. Easy to find, good parking (outsourced and expensive, but this is the city centre!). Rooms are ok, they’re basic but clean. The breakfast is really good. It is worth the extra cash buying it.
N. L.
I like this hotel, really close to train station and Chinatown. Modern and nice rooms with shoe polish in hall way. Haven't used bar or restaurant. Parking ncp next door which is pricey but get money off at reception. Roads around can be a pain with roadworks and traffic.
H. M.
Stayed here over Birmingham Pride, wow what a hotel! Staff were so welcoming and all the extra little touches to make us attending Pride were so lovely! Great breakfast, so much variety and selection. Big rooms with Apple TV and the most comfortable beds. Loved our stay so much we have already re-booked for a summer shopping trip!
M. C.
I attended an event at the hotel. The events centre was not extravagant, but was more than suitable for a typical work-type event.
The reception and staff upon entry were wonderfully helpful and respectful.
The location of the hotel is nearby New Street station. Thus, getting to the hotel is easy to get to and easily within walking distance of the station.
D. S.
Was here for a conference. While the venue and catering facilities are great, the actual conference facilities are poor, considering they charge £40 per delegate per day, I don't consider this to be value for money.
The presentations were all on PowerPoint on a laptop, but to display it on their screens you have to download their app. All good to start with, but everytime you moved slides, the app crashed and even the hotels own staff couldn't resolve it!
Food in restaurant was very nice
K. A.
Nice room friendly staff. Only problems were that the double room that we booked had 2 single beds pushed together rather than a double, and the light switch by the bed didn't work so the only way we could turn the lights off was to remove the key card, which made going to the toilet in the night difficult because we couldn't turn the light on. Other than that the room was big and clean and hotel is in a great location.
V. W.
Great three nights, huge variety at breakfast, lovely staff very quick to clear plates and keepnthings topped up. Room was great lovely view, only critics was we couldn't turn the air con below 19. Didn't ask about it so it might have been able to be done Quiet we were on 18 th floor. Lifts very quick. Very pleased with choice we made
C. S.
The hotel has a great central location within easy walking distance of the centre. The staff are lovely and the rooms are really nice. The bed was super comfortable and everything was really clean. Breakfast was excellent, wide selection of hot and cold with lots of options for all tastes. Highly recommended.
P. G.
Very well appointed top level hotel in a perfect location next to New St station and near the centre of the city. We held a conference here and it was ideal, great service, great standards and some very satisfied delegates. Thank you.
P. C.
We really enjoyed our visit to this hotel. We stayed here as we were going to the Train gig at the O2. This is a 5 minute walk down the road so an ideal location for this. We ate after the gig at a great curry restaurant down the road which was recommended by the concierge. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and good variety. Wished we could have stayed longer but with the cost of parking so high, we're glad we didn't!
A. B.
I'm not the kind of person who would stay in places like the Radisson (it was a company trip) so for my expectations are quite different from others. However the view is objectively superb. The hotel is 19 floors in the 2nd tallest building in Birmingham. The breakfast was excellent, even a generous piece of tuna steak was presented. Plenty of things to chose from, would highlight the smoothie.

Stayed here for 2 nights on business. Parking a pain and chargeable. Reception were great, small overpriced bar, restaurant was great. Rooms basic but nice coffee machines! Don't be fooled into thinking they have a gym, it's a room with 3 cardio machines in, pretty basic.
M. D.
The staff were nice, room clean and tidy, quite tired however. Worst part was a stinky leaking ice machine outside our room that make the hall smell fusty.
A. K.
Excellent hotel and location. Breakfast was nice with mix of hot and cold buffet and alsp option to have something cooked included. Rooms were nice clean and spacious and was suprised could connect phone to the TV via mirrorlink. One thing was at late at night door was locked so had to knock on window to get someone to open should really have a key card access door.
R. H.
Really nice place to stay. Well located for the bullring. Grand central and hippodrome. friendly staff and clean
M. B.
Nice hotel central location great breakfast including fresh smoked salmon which was a treat! Rooms good quality. if you are nervous about going out at night I would suggest you eat in the hotel the area can be challenging!
G. G.
This hotel is situated close to city centre. Nice view to small part of the city from upper floors. Golden years of this hotel just gone. In my opinion hotel standard is not worth the money you have to pay for. One thing I did not like was bathroom.
R. F.
Great location. Great staff. Always nice to be upgraded especially from a Standard to Premium room on corner of 16th floor so much more spacious and with a complimentary drink at the bar too. Used NCP Horsefair car park as much cheaper than one next to hotel and only 5 minute walk away
S. C.
I went for business purposes to this hotel.. easy to find..a few minutes from the Bull ring..
Friendly staff member named Ricky..was very helpful, professional, polite and considerate! He made my stay ever so enjoyable and comfortable!
Room was lovely..good sized King size bed.. clean carpet..nice dining table and chairs..maybe the bathroom was not as spectacular as the room hence the 4 stars and one other thing was the night shift reception staff who were not friendly at all. It felt like i walked into a scene of a mafia movie after a night out 😂 they need to be as friendly and welcoming as Ricky!
F.
Great location, comfy bed but the pillows are way to soft so didn't get enough sleep. The room has got everything you would expect and there is even and ice machine by the lift.
C. B.
Excellent venue with very attentive and considerate staff.
The lunar meeting rooms were a good size and very well lit with natural light. The tech and incidental provided were more than adequate.
J. T.
Had a very enjoyable stay ! The room was spacious and modern and very warm. There was an ice-machine and a shoe-shinning station conveniently located in the hallway outside the room. The breakfast was also really nice : a great variety of pâtisseries and staple english breakfast items in the buffet. Or if you fancied there was an à la carte menu as well.
M. W.
Great stay here and whilst a little pricey its worth it for the little extras you get. Like wine glasses, mini fridge, iron and ironing board etc in the room. Beds are very comfy too! Great location for shopping, bars etc all within easy walking distance.
M. B.
Good points: A well situated hotel next to New Street Station, car park and restaurants with some great views. Haven't eaten or used gymnasium but breakfast was fab. Staff was friendly and professional, rooms clean and spacious (got upgraded to business if that matters).
Not so good: bathroom looked tired and generally room felt a bit forgotten about. Some sockets were not working. Hotel has a discounted rate at nearby NCP car park (£25->£15 overnight). Good but being charged for parking is a bit unusual.
S. J.
First time at the Hotel and the hospitality service was excellent, especially Emma and Victoria. Thanks for an amazing reception.
S. P.
Very comfy beds. The bar is a bit lacking in atmosphere. Top marks for having usb ports by the bed which can actually handle charging a USB c type phone
D. A.
Some of the bar furniture looks very tired and needs replacing. The rooms are tastefully decorated and clean but the coffee selection was limited, no complimentary water was given. We stayed in a business class room so expected a little more
D. E.
Nice sized, adequately equipped room, that was quiet and comfortable (I slept like a baby). Speedy, free WiFi too.
The couple of items of gilt furniture were a bit incongruous with the rest of the decor though, and the fridge was a bit warm (maybe not working).

I loved everything about this hotel. Contemporary rooms, great gym some perfect touches like underfloor heating in the bathrooms and a heated vanity mirror. Also great service and the breakfast is delicious.
J. L.
I have stayed at this hotel for quite a few times. All for work related stay. I kept coming back to this hotel purely for its location. Close to bull ring, restaurants, Chinese quarters. The rooms have nice decoration and quite modern. But toilet is a bit dated, silicone are going mould. And carpet in the hallway smells.
J. P.
Amazing weekend.Welcoming friendly and enthusiastic staff, greeted with an upgrade to a Suite which was a lovely surprise and it was so well all appointed The suite was large, modern and designed beautifully with great floor to ceiling windows to look.out over the city with a separate hall, lounge as well as a massive bedroom with enormous ensuite and a further bathroom in the hall! Oh and 2 Tv's too! The bed was really cosy with crisp white linen and spotlessly clean .Also, when we arrived back from a days shopping had birthday cake with Happy Birthday piped on the plate left in our room..it was delicious and such a lovely touch. We we then treated to a commentary drink and had breakfast delivered to our suite..it was perfect.Thank you to Radisson Blu and for all the special touches that made my partners birthday so special.
C. W.
Good check-in experience. Great room, with good facilities. The only reason to take one star away was even after the Nespresso machine was changed, the replacement still wasn’t clean with yellowish water being pumped out.
J. M.
One of my favourite hotels in Birmingham due to the views from the top floors. Huge floor to ceiling windows, gym very small but functional (for up to 4 people!). Rooms well fitted out, and breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfast buffets I can think of
B. L.
Stayed the night on a work trip. My room was clean, spacious and modern with a huge comfortable bed.
Breakfast buffet is really very good with special a la carte items like pancakes, omelette and eggs benedict included in the price as well as your standard hot and cold buffet items, bread, cakes, cereals etc to suit all tastes. Disappointing the gym is out of action however found a great payasyougym a few minutes walk for around a fiver.
A. W.
Visited there after purchasing afternoon tea wowcher deal.
The staff were very helpful and courteous. The tea was ample with good choice of drinks. Would not hesitate to go there again.
M. W. H.
Really great stay. Staff are great, got a free upgrade. Room was lovely & clean. Great views & location. Breakfast was lovely, a lot of choice. Recommend it.
J. D.
First class hotel and staff. Was made to feel special. Outstanding room. Breakfast was fantastic and plenty. Would stay again. Would recommend.
M. T.
Amazing hotel. Massive super king size bed thats all one bed, not two little beds put together. Selection of different flavoured tea available, along with an ice bucket, wine glasses and chocolate. Room felt personalised, professional and spacious. Just down the road from wetherspoons and the 02 academy.
Only thing we wish it had was a desk that had a mirror and lamp.
Thanks for a great stay and will come again!
C.
Very nice and spacious but missed the iron and hairdryer. For short stays only and table not office desk. Would stay against fo
r a weekend but not longer as like to unpack into drawers and cupboards . Breakfast was okay
L. N.
Fantastic hotel, my only negative being the bathrooms are rather dated, but that's all preference isn't it. Lovely staff, comfortable beds, nice selection of teas and such...
R. A.
Not a bad hotel, but not value for money. The rooms are average, but the price is similar to the much better Crowne Plaza. The gym is not great, and the traffic noise from the main road and roundabout outside is not muffled enough by the windows.
S. M.
The location of the hotel is great, near the Grad centre, where many places and shops are located. Mainly 5 min walk. The food is good, the furnature is old, and probably needs renovation. The room is clean, still the holway needs to be cleaner, and let air in. Overall not bad.
A. K.
The AC never worked in our superior room. Worst nothing was done about it after several complaints. The best part was the bar and the barman. Also the lady who checked us in was excellent. Sorry do not get her name.
k. w.
It's ok..... The view is amazing the staff are very friendly but the rooms aren't great. We had to call the cleaner back because there was dust everywhere.. the bathroom door handle was broken and there was chipped plaster from the walls. Not the nicest of rooms, especially when they charge you a £50 deposit on the room in case you trash it....
凯.
I had a one bedroom suite and I got my money's worth. What a wonderful room, view, use of the gym and swimming pool. I had an excellent breakfast, the beef sausages were very nice.
G. K.
Excellent location, nice room - you can tell it's been decorated to a high standard even if some of it now looks dated or tired. Staff were all very friendly. Great breakfast options.
j. l.
Beautiful hotel, nice location, friendly front desk people especially Ricky. The rooms are clean, spacious with essential amenities. My daughter and I were really impressed with the value for money. The breakfast is a bit expensive though.
S. J.
It was a nice one night in the hotel, fairly pricey but very comfortable bed and room in general, breakfast was very nice as well and you can't fault the location. Only a couple of things, the bar is very small and closes too early and the queues to check in can be crazy if you hit the business rush
M. F.
Excellent location, customer service and overall the room was good, except the mattress was a cheap spring mattress and extremely soft. Stayed in king double, the room was large, had fridge and the usual tea equipment, bathroom nice size with bath too. No parking, but 2 NCp carparks, one next door and a cheaper one 5min walk over the roundabout. The train station is also 5min walking distance.
R. G.
This hotel could be perfect, it's just a few minutes walk from New Street train station, it has high floors with great view, a gym on the 18th floor, the buffet breakfast is as perfect as it can be and I got a great upgrade as a CC gold. Unfortunately a few things made it loose the 5th star: the neighborhood isn't so great and I had asked for an early check-in and, while I understand it's not always possible, it would have been great to let me know. The room wasn't quite ready when I arrived at 15:20 but ended up ready after finishing the check-in so no harm. Finally, I wasn't offered any welcome gift as normally offered to CC gold so not sure this is standard at this place or they just forgot. No big deal, though.
W. P.
Easy too find via sat nav from motorways.
Ncp car park close. Reduction from Raddisson guest.
Staff very polite at hotel. Helpful and well dressed.
Hotel situated near shops, station and bus station. Idea for place. Tall building with great view.
Close too The cube etc ideal. We love staying here when we got something on at nec. Breakfast brill and great value. Rooms nice, clean etc.
C. Y.
Used the meeting suite with hot fork buffet. The room was quite, modern and equipped with audio and visual system. The buffet was great and the room service was very friendly and professional. All in all, fantastic!
O. R.
Great hotel in the city center.
K. M.
Room was great and very comfortable. However, the bar and restaurant lacked atmosphere due to the decor and lighting. Sadly, the service at breakfast was poor and the food luke warm.
M. 2.
Customer service was great. We got upgraded to the presidential suite as it was our anniversary. Everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a special treat.
A. L.
The rooms were a decent size but very outdated. Carpets were dirty, stains on the curtains and the bedding were not ironed in any way. The tv was so small and reception was poor. This was all reflected by the cheap price I paid for the room.
R. R.
The breakfast won me over otherwise not what I expected. Neighbours were swearing and shouting 4 in the morning. The beds were really soft so didn't provide support. The shower was good and they provided nice toiletries.
B. P.
Very average hotel. No car park so had to pay £20 on top of cost of the room. Hair dryer didn't work and shower head was broken, couldn't watch TV without paying extra. Eat or drink anything they include with your room and you'll get charged. Lampshades on the lights looked worn and dirty. Honestly the only thing that would make me want to come back is the location of the hotel and the hotel staff, especially Ricky!
A. S.
Premium hotel? Extremely disappointed in the quality of the room I have been allocated.reminds me of Hotels in the nineties. Maybe I had a bad room, don't care, this should not be standard of rooms today. Badly stained carpets, aged interior. A nice bed is not the be all and end all to a good hotel experience! Out of ten I rate this a five, need to match the marketing it gives as a premium hotel.sorely disappointed.
M. D.
I booked a night here as I was going to see a show, didn't want to travel late and fancied a little luxury. The hotel was fine in most respects. Check in was uneventful, but I didn't leave my card details so had no access to the fridge/minibar which was electronically locked. The room was close to the lifts which were activated by the key card and it was at the front of the hotel facing Smallbrook Queensway. The room was OK but showing signs of wear - the chair was stained, there were threads hanging from an odd bench arrangement around the TV, but was generally clean, light and spacious. The choice of channels was less that you'd find on a Freeview box. The curtains have an odd arrangement - I couldn't see any blackout curtains and was treated to a night of getting dressed in the bathroom and trying to sleep whilst watching the traffic circling Paradise Circus roundabout. It wasn't until the following morning that I found the blackout blinds next to the window hiding at the far end of the window behind the nets. The bathroom was good but I was intrigued by the telephone by the toilet. ??eh?? Who needs to make a 'phone call from there. There were generous timings, with the gym open from 6am to 11pm, breakfast during the week from 6:30am to 10am and checkout was 12pm not the usual 11am. Now I know how to draw the curtains, I'll be back if I need to stay in town again.
M. F.
I will always stay in this hotel when visiting Birmingham! The rooms are clean and tidy. The suites and standard rooms are as comfortable as each other. Would recommend a suite for a special occasion! Stayed in one for a business trip. Staff and room service is 10\10 parking is even easier. Excellent bar and range of drinks with clean glasses. See you soon radisson blu
S. L.
Lovely hotel. It was quiet despite a busy road. A really good breakfast choice. A menu to choose from plus a full English breakfast and continental one as well. Toast and cereals too.
u. u.
Lovely experience I booked superior room for me and hubby for his bday they gave us 12th floor but when we got there they gave us 18th floor! amazing city view perfect..very clean and comfy 😍 and they treated hubby with mince pies.. staff were very helpful and polite would deffo book again thankyou🖒
E. C.
Comfortable air-conditioned room, clean as you'd expect. Central location with NCP parking at a preferential rate (£15 per 24 hours). Would've been a great view from our 12th floor room if it wasn't Birmingham! Service was acceptable.
M. R.
Very nice hotel. Comfortable beds.
Limited range on the restaurants menu but do pizza room service.
Staff helpful and nothing is ever an issue.
J. W.
Nice hotel, one little hiccup they gave me someone elses room when I got there and I walked in on them playing a game of hide the sausage which was a little embarrasing for them. We were compensated with a nice bottle of wine dont know what they got but could hazard a guess depending on their preferred method of contraception.
S. W.
This felt like it should be better for the money. The rooms to bedside lights didn't work (we flicked every switch). Mini bar prices were extortionate. The carpet was shabby around the edges. bed was comfy but the duvet wasn't big enough for the bed!
We had a drink in the bar at the end of the night. Chairs are shabby and dirty looking. One single malibu, one single cpt Morgan and a shared bottle of coke was about £13-14!! Breakfast area looked nice, food was nice but just luke warm!? There was a menu on the table for things to be cooked but nobody asked if you wanted any of them.
The gym........ Well, it's small as advertised, but over half the room is taken up by an un attended reception desk and treatment rooms with nobody in. The air con was broken and stuck on heat which made it unbearable after ten minutes. The dust under and around the machines was terrible. It can't have been cleaned for weeks. So much potential with location but overpriced for the standards kept inside.
I gave it OK because of location and the look of the building.
R. S.
Reception is clear and easy to use, reception bar is great for after work drinks. Upstairs is the restaurant area. A good looking space with views out. Staff were friendly and attentive, drinks were good and reasonably priced
J. T.
Great hotel, good central location, rooms are a good size. The only thing that let it down was the evening bar staff were extremely slow. But on the whole would recommend it.
J. C.
Great place to stay very close to being perfect with minor flaws; curtains were not quite wide enough to cover the windows so children's room wasn't dark. Overall was a nice stay would recommend.
c. t.
Ideal location for staying over in the centre of Birmingham and only a 5min walk from New street station. Short walk to China town and the bull ring. Has various NCP car parks in the area and specifically immediately behind the hotel, ask the hotel for discount. Rooms are spacious and newly decorated...book early and there are plenty of deals to grab for reduced price rooms.
S. H.
Up in Birmingham on business and was meeting for breakfast before we when a meeting. We had not arrange to have breakfast here, we just walking off the street.
The staff we're very welcoming and should us to the restaurant. The breakfast was around £12 and was a self service, eat all you want.
I was very good and the egg's even had a runny yoke
If the rest of the hotel is as good as the breakfast you are in for a treat.
G. Y.
Attended a few meetings here recently. Flag ship hotel, almost dominating the skyline, and in an excellent location, with easy access to New Street Station, the Bullring, and, of course, the Chinese Quarter. The building looks stunning, especially when the sun is reflecting off it. At ground level it lets itself down with what I can only describe as a grubby entrance.
K. H.
Good size room and bed. All expected amenities and friendly, helpful staff. Drinks at the bar are a little over priced though.
C. M.
Check in early very nice breakfast room very nice
M. L.
Good central location close to station
N. E.
Booked the Fellini experience which cost an extra £20 on bed and breakfast. Three course meal was lovely (costing £38 when ordering prawn risotto, seabass and opting for a second glass of vino instead of desert). My room experience was great as I received a free upgrade to a business suit, although bare in mind this did not come with the typical business perks (paper/ movies on demand) but I need make full use of the Nespresso machine! The parking was in NCP at a discounted rate of £15 a night and there is a back entrance to the hotel guests can buzz into (even though it looks like a staff entrance). The only disappointment was rhe Gym. On the 18th floor it had great views, but was smaller than my room, with only one machine of each type, a mere three sets of dumbbells and no bench or music. With other Radisson Gym/Spa suits to compare with this sits at the bottom, but if you're not interested in the Gym, it's a great hotel in a very central location. Breakfast is a standard buffet with nade to order eggs/pancakes if you choose. All in all a happy guest.
L. F.
Great hotel was on the top floor so views were amazing. Only thing I will say is rooms come with everything but soap (very strange) but they do provide this if you ask
D. M.
Went for work Christmas evening (again). It hasn't changed at all in the last 3 years and drinks are very expensive. Also, for some reason the restaurant/bar is on the first floor...of a tower that's 130m tall? I've been to Radisson hotels in places like Riga and Oslo and they all have skybars. Missed an opportunity there Radisson.
L. D.
Handy for shopping and dining. A bit on the edge of the best bits of Brum, but new development is happening all the time. Friendly staff and excellent dinner menu. Breakfast not so inspiring, but still above average.
A. A.
Been here 5 times delivering seminars.
Facilities starting to look a bit tired.
Staff very nice and helpful.
The gym had both running machines out of action.
M. D.
You know when you pick a hotel based purely on its proximity to some event/place and it turns out to be so much better than you expected, so just being in the hotel is a treat? Well this was just the opposite! We came expecting 4 star rooms and service to be a treat and found that this hotel is alright if you need to be close by and can get a room at an online deal price. If we had paid the standard rate for a business package room, I would have felt properly done over. Oh, and they have the cheek to make you authorise a £50 per night deposit!
Staff: lobby & restaurant - friendly and eager to be helpful, housekeeping - impatient.
Room: basically right on the edge of what is acceptable for 4 stars - TV remote = pants (it's not the batteries, it's a problem with their software system); Aircon = a bit loud and not able to cool the room enough; Bathroom = fake tiles on walls, scratchy towels and bathrobes, damaged thermostat on shower/bath control, toiletries = nice citrus smelling but not much use for washing; Comfy Chairs (arm & desk); Bed = excellent size but far too soft; Brew making facilities = adequate but no instructions on how to use coffee machine; Ironing board and iron as well as the usual trouser press; Safe = ok size; Cleanliness = fine.
Restaurant: Evening - overall not bad, but limited - starters good, pizzas ok if you're very hungry - relatively good choice for vegetarians (as a percentage of a limited menu, if you see what I mean); Breakfast - all buffet ( O_o ) I swear I've had the same quality for £5 tacked onto a 2 star room & the cooked selection mings (I'm about 75% sure it was responsible for my woman's dodgy guts later that day).
Plus points: Smoking Rooms available; TV on demand movies (30+) included in business package price (but software unstable so films do just stop sometimes and no pause, rwnd, ffwd); Free WiFi throughout (works way better in rooms than restaurant); very handy for Birmingham New St. Station and no traffic noise despite being right next to a busy roundabout; Room Service is limited and expensive, but nowhere near as bad as some places in a similar price bracket (but for the love of all that's fiscally sound, keep away from the mini-bar and nibbles!); Breakfast included in the business package price.
A. P.
They had renovations at the time of my visit so the bar was closed. We went to the restaurant area for a coffee and when I ordered a americano they said they didn't have any coffee. But then brought me a black coffee. Food was nice but forgot the chips. Just seemed a little unsure how to run a restaurant.
A. G.
Nice hotel, good decor. Attended for a corporate event and did find the room quite small. Restaurant was nice and quality of food was fairly good, however, choice was limited.
A. P.
Good hotel in the hearth of Birmingham. All the staff very helpful and efficient. Nice selection of buffet breakfast and very clean rooms - seems like they were just refurbished. Would recommend!
A. L.
Good location
Well insulated
Wide corridors
Rooms spacious and not too dark
Park at NewStreet NCP
And get discount
Or just train it
Brekkie buffet and views from 18 th floor gym room.
Nice and we'll put together
V. B.
Implication was they had parking. But directed to the wrong car park (in the pouring rain) by staff that had only been there 3 days. Got £60 fine. Room ok, good view.
J. G.
Beautiful hotel, with stunning views and friendly staff,I would definitely recommend this hotel
s. h.
Great hotel very well run, only gripe is as it's a carbon neutral hotel the aircon won't go below 19 degs which is still too warm to sleep on a hot day/night . Great location and staff are 'cool' . Loved the dining area .
S.
Best bed I've ever slept in! And most fantastic view of Birmingham. Can't wait to stay again!
C. B.
We have had a lovely two nights looked after very well nice selection of food at the buffet breakfast very clean and spacious room
J. M.
Nice hotel in central Birmingham, location is ok for proximity to the train station, shopping centres and restaurants but backs on to some less desirable streets, the NCP car park closest is bad for crime.
Breakfast at the hotel is very good.
Check-in was slow and the rooms are a little tired in places. So many floors, the lifts are slow.
The hotel bar is expensive and the seats are worn out.
M. H.
Made a stop here to visit friends who spending the night since they were getting married the next day. Can't speak for the rooms but they did have a nice ritzy reception area where we hung out for a few hours.
P. J.
Great central location. Good breakfast arrangements. Away from reception the hotel shows signs of heavy use and is becoming tired in places.
P. H.
A few issues the main one was the room was so hot all day and night and the air-conditioning did not work. I would have expected better from the Radisson blu..Easter weekend and the hottest of the year so far...
M. H.
The Radisson Blu is located in a fantastic area, about a ten minute walk from all of Birmingham's best night spots. The view from our room on the 15th floor was incredible with the new Grand Central building taking centre stage. Unfortunately that was probably the best thing about the rather basic room we stayed in.
The room itself was decorated well and provided a suitable place to sleep, but for something carrying the Radisson name I was left unimpressed.
Of the two single beds that were stuck togther, one was sagging rather badly. Upon arrival you were also only given a single, rather worn out pillow without any others to be found.
The bathroom had fixtures loose and hanging off the wall and the shower really wasn't that great.
Further to that the TV was quite small and dated, proving quite difficult to actually watch from the bed.
The saving grace (and the main reason this got an additional star) was the included breakfast. There was a fantastic menu as well as a self serve buffet, offering the standard cooked breakfast to accompany any pastries, fruit and cooked meats and cheeses.
Overall the Radisson Blu is a lovely hotel, if not a little uninspiring. You're left feeling that the price is mainly for the location with Birmingham Grand Central and the Bullring a 5 minute walk, Broad St and the Mailbox within 10 minutes as well, but depending on the requirement of your visit it would certainly be worth paying the extra to stay here.
Overnight, subsidised parking is also available for £15.
M. Y.
Great location just next to the hotel walk less than 5 minutes to the bullring shopping mall or chinatown. Plenty of restaurant options around. The bed is really comfortable and love the breakfast. Staffs are friendly and helpful
T. H.
This is a lovely very central hotel. The staff couldn't have been nicer really went out of their way to be helpful. Can highly recommend it.
W. R.
Great hotel set in easy access to the train station. Only visited for a work meeting, so didn't stay over. From what I viewed it looks a nice place to stay.
R. M.
Nice hotel and again friendly staff, pee stained towel has dropped this feedback to a 3 star, will look to revise upon next visit if no further issues are encountered. Factor in parking at £15 - £18 per night.
A. K.
I came here about a month ago for my interview for a new job and the staff are really good the breakfast is brilliant but one thing is I think that they should add a bit more care to the customers but I think that is a very good hotel to be in
H. N.
Had a super stay here. Rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast was fab, lots of lovely little extras. Hotel is just a 5 min walk from bullring shopping and main train station.
L. M.
Good room fairly close to the city centre. Staff were very good. Tv clearly needed servicing though. Nearly falling off the wall. Apart from that a very good nights rest.
P. Z.
We used their conference facilities for our team meeting. It would have been an entirely positive experience had it not been for a failing presentation TV. In the end we got another one and all went ok.
A. G.
Rooms are ok. Meeting Room facilities are fine. Let down by poor service and maintenance of the refresh ments and a permanently on heating system. Just what you need on a hot day.
M. N.
Good hotel in central location close to New Street railway station and Birmingham shopping area. Rooms are spacious and modern. Very good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.
A. P.
There for a conference. Had to work out where I was going myself on arrival as no notice in reception about where to go.
On the positive side, Ipads were provided to capture responses from conference tables which meant feedback wasn't lost and could be taken away for furthér analysis. But two of the screens in the room weren't working which meant people sat at the back of the room coukd see detail of what on the screens in the room.
Good food at lunchtime and good pastries during breaktime.
L. B.
Always love this hotel. Rooms are modem, clean and your have done great views of the city. Stayed her for Birmingham Gay Pride.
A. W.
Fantastic hotel. Staff are brilliant. Location is great. Immaculate room. Thanks to everyone for such an unforgettable time. Will be visiting again.
A. J.
The location of the hotel is easy to get to with reasonable parking, the rooms are very nice and clean and spacious, the service is was very good with staff helpfull and polite.
Overall I personally had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel to others.
B. 2.
Nice hotel, good sized superior room only let down was the breakfast and lack of free-from options/quality. They could offer a wider selection given the status of the chain. The only fault though.
C. D.
Great spacious rooms with an amazing view from the window, food was excellent and all staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be visiting again.
M. B.
Lovely hotel with attentive staff and a great breakfast selection in the morning. The highlights were the small personal touches we asked for that were done so brilliantly.
c. s.
Lovely staff all very helpful and polite. The room was fantastic and breakfast delightful. An all-around excellent stay.
S. U.
Really lovely hotel. Bit of confusion checking if we has b&b, got rectified pretty quick . Rooms are lovely and breakfast is lovely too , would come back for leisure next time instead of business =3
R. W.
Fab weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary . We had a suite which made it even more memorable. Great breakfast and good ŕange of cocktails
J. S.
Good rooms with great city views if you are above the 10th floor. Good overall service & very convient location in city centre. Bar staff were very efficient & friendly.
A. W.
Visited today for afternoon tea. Lovely service by friendly, polite and kind staff who were very attentive and always had a smile on there faces. Would definitely recommend visiting or staying here.
K. B.
We had a lovely two nights stay , close to all the shops , restaurants and bars . Rooms really spacious, lovely comfy bed 😁 will definitely book again .
D. M.
Excellent view from the large comfortable room. The restaurant is a bit pricy, but I suppose that's only to be expected. Would definitely stay again.
C. B.
Very nice hotel and very friendly people. The rooms are very clean and very clean with a great view ( from the 17 floor ). Breakfast was very delicious and with an energetics vabe.
S. S.
Excellent location in center of Birmingham, it only takes 3 mins walk from new st. station to hotel. Impressive modern design; Nice bar; Friendly staff.
I can enjoy a magnificent view of Birmingham skyline from my room. Highly recommended!
T. K.
Lovely and comfortable hotel with great interior decor. The building is a sight to behold in Birmingham as well. A spa and pool would have made it complete.
K. S.
Very nice hotel. Close to the Bullring. Short walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. Room was spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful.
M. B.
Clean, spacious rooms. Good breakfast choices. Friendly, helpful staff. Would use again. Great central location.
M. C.
Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Some of the furniture looked a bit dated though. Location is great with it being a short walk from the station.
T. U.
Turned up here to pickup a few parcels ... Adriana at reception was very helpful indeed .. she went out of her way to locate the items for me ... parking outside the hotel is restricted to just a few spaces but i got lucky on this occasion ... inside the reception was very well presented .. very clean and had an executive feel to it ... i am now looking forward to staying at a Radisson Hotel in the near future ...

Nice hotel. Would recommend more for business travellers than anything else, though is perfectly fine if not. Restaurant wasn't used as it seemed quite expensive.
M. A.
Great location. Close to train station and easy walking distance to downtown and many restaurants nearby your location. Staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful.
J. M.
Extremely good room service, catering and staff were helpful and reliable. Defiantly a good choice of stay. Relaxing and comfortable
A. M. C.
Stayed in room 1405
Nice clean room, with a amazing skyline view
Over Birmingham.
The breakfast was good with a broad selection of freshly made food, fruits, juice etc.
J. N.
Great room, plenty of power sockets and next to the bed too. Gym disappointing as only CC machines and a couple of dumb bells, no free weights.
M. A.
Small room and doesn't look or feel comfortable at all. The saving grace was it was a very very comfortable bed
W.
Nice hotel although not in very nice surroundings. Room was big and clean, breakfast was good. Would recommend
S. I.
Lovely hotel, extremely friendly staff and in a great location
L. C.
Room lovely. Shame that the sound proofing is shocking. We could hear doors slamming throughout the night. And dividing door wasn't sufficient to block out next doors noise
R. L.
( + ) Totally pleased with everything about that hotel: the convenient location 5 min away from the shops/station/nightlife, the nice design of the rooms, the time at which breakfast ends (12:00 on Sundays! Yay!), the very friendly and helpful staff, ... Definitely my home in Birmingham :)
( 0 ) A misunderstanding on my final bill (charging for things I thought were included but were apparently not) was settled within a a few days in the form of a refund of the extras.
( - ) There was a persistent unpleasant smell in the bathroom, but I can only assume it will be taken care of very soon.
J. F.
a really smart hotel, good food in the restaurant, a nice bar where you can get a g and t or a bloody mary, attentive staff and great location - not cheap but you get good value for your money
T. P.
Brilliant hotel, lovely staff, great food with attentive and friendly waiters and waitress's.
Lovely clean well thought out rooms with epic views over Birmingham.
M. D.
The management style is heavy handed. They are right you are wrong. But the views are great and the front of house staff are lively. Had a great nights sleep.
A. M.
The rooms are ok, basically clean but the furniture could be renewed. Room Service ist disappointing, poor selection after 11pm.
R. G.
Lovely hotel close to New Street station. Rooms good size with good bathroom and shower. Breakfast was good. Reasonable for city centre hotel .
M. D. J.
Attended as part of a company event. Nice meeting rooms and amenities. Had lunch too (Christmas), impressed by level of service, especially as the restaurant was full
J. S.
Nice hotel, close to the station, large rooms and good breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would recommend and stay again
W. K.
Good rooms but Aircon wasn't the best. Good customer service, room wasn't ready on arrival but the looked after us in the bar to make up for it.
S. P.
Great rooms, bar is nice too and breakfast was superb. Even had a small gluten free section
T.
Comfortable stay, really close to station and short walk to town centre. Breakfast food had good variety but maybe lacking slightly in quality.
A. I.
Vincent and Denisa, front desk receptionist were absolutely amazing, went above and beyond to make sure my friends have an unforgettable stay.
D. M.
Best in Birmingham
Food is great
Breakfast is lavish
You can find Indian cuisine
1 person meal would cost around £20 to £25
A. D.
Great location. Close to train station and easy walking distance to downtown and many restaurants. Staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful.
M. G.
Didn't stay there but amazing friendly staff. Were really nice when I came in just for using the toilet.
B. v. C.
Restaurant was closed and mini bar empty,v which we found disappointing. Rooms were ok. Price was reasonable.
J. H.
Nice, tall, modern building. Slept well, WiFi is great for working outside of the office, even streamed quite well. Will carry on using for business purposes.
C. H.
I was there for a meeting in the bar/lobby area of the Radisson. The decor was lovely and the seating very comfortable. Bar staff were attentive too.
C. A. A.
Good value stay and good gym. Will possibly return. Comfy bed and decent sized TV for once.
D. B.
Lovely clean hotel but some of the staff were very poor, very little understanding of English which isn't very good when working behind the bar,
S. S.
Very contemporary hotel, quite grand feeling. Main let down is the walk from the car park which is longer than needed as you have to walk around the block to get to the entrance.
F. l.
Well positioned hotel in the centre of Birmingham. 10 minute walk from the town centre but in a quiet location. The rooms are clean and spacious
J. C.
Very nice place. I didn't stop there but I did attend a seminar. If I'm ever stranded in town I may give this place a try.
M. H.
Very clean fresh hotel. The lobby is always fragrant and staff is on hand and very knowledgeable about the hotel as well as the surroundings in case of need for directions
i. h.
Room was clean and tidy the bar staff friendly overall had a pleasant stay will definitely stay there again
B. A.
Fantastic hotel, service is great and the staff are very friendly. We stayed here on our wedding might and got a free upgrade to a suite.
D. K.
No water in the hotel, the heating wasn't on.. but all in all was a nice room and clean and great location.. staff was nice too.
R. T.
Very nice hotel! Close to restaurants and train station! Very good for business trips! Fitness center is small but never seen it too busy!
R. J.
Meeting review only, didn’t stay. Helpful staff with everything ready on time. Quality nibbles for lunch too, always a treat
D. T.
Nice hotel, nice rooms unfortunately though the bathroom looked tired, the plug got stuck in the sink and the shower was luke warm and was very weak.
J. C.
Very clean and well presented hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Poor value for money
J. K.
You get what you pay for. Friendly staff, OK rooms, view at the back of hotel horrible(ask for city view room), room didn't heat up despite heating being on all night. 5* for location and that's it.
J. E.
Nice room, nothing in the mini fridge or snack area. The gym was also out of order and I had brought my kit with me from Cambridge which was very annoying
E. D.
Meeting rooms are large, nice food. The room I was given wasn't as great as some of the others that ive been in the same hotel.
G. L.
Lovely hotel. Fast check in and out. Very up market. Loved the ice machine and shoe polisher in the corridor on each floor.
M. H.
Beds/pillows too soft but that's personal preference. The location is perfect for good access to the train station and bullring
T. H.
Great breakfast and friendly staff however undersized gym for such a big hotel, rooms were as you would expect
R. S.
Attended a workshop here. All the facilities were great and the food excellent. Easy to get to from the railway station. Perfect for the conference
C. D. (.
I've only used for meeting rooms but these have been well equipped and comfortable.
A. P.
Nothing special. Very over priced
M. T.
I had a great room with a view over the pagoda island on the A38 but still out side on the street to smoke. Great bar and staff
J. B.
Office Christmas party. The food was fine if unremarkable. The disco in the room was suitably loud leading to me sitting out by the bar to escape the noise!
S. D.
Great hotel with great location, but you can't just ignore the noise from the street even if you're in the 7th floor!
B. S. (.
Inviting and friendly staff, in a well designed and modern establishment. My food and time spent here was quite pleasant. I'd stay here again.
l. b.
Oh my what a beauty. Spacious and had a nice view of the town. Unfortunately didn’t think to take a picture. More or less enjoying the company of my friends.
Z. M.
A nice hotel with nice room service. Better than many others around city centre. Building is at right location, views are nice but prices are slightly high
T. H.
Fine room, and nice bathroom, including bath. Lack of view (facing a brick wall), older television, small gym with a broken piece of equipment.
R. T.
Room was laid out well and clean. Small notepad and pen are provided along with fresh spring and sparkling water. Overall fit for purpose.
s. n.
Lovely hotel. Lovely staff.. The best brrakfast.. Nice spacious rooms.. Close to the shopping centre and train stations.
k. s.
Stayed here 22/12/17 to 24/12/17 my children booked it for our anniversary they had booked us a double standard room when we arrived the hotel upgraded us to a suite on the 16th floor at no extra charge and the view was amazing at night and a complementary drink room very clean bathrooms were very big the breakfast was lovely and hotel staff very helpful all in all I would definitely stay here again
I. P.
Good quality hotel as one would expect from Radisson. Plumbing was a bit noisy on my floor... sounded like a foghorn and the TV randomly switches off or restarts
C. “.
Very nice decorated areas for Xmas. Good piping hot and great quality. Drinks very overpriced. Live singers very good
T. K.
Fantastic hotel in a good location. Breakfast and room service was brilliant
D. N.
very good hotel, ideal for our day in Birmingham. Central to everywhere we wanted to go. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. Very enjoyable stay.
J. K.
Gym was out of service when I was there and view wasn't great (a car park), however, the room was comfortable and the bathroom was great.
A. L.
Radisson Blu hotels always offer great facilities, 1st class service and confirm in a contemporary setting. The Birmingham one is no different.
j. “. C.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. Great staff especially Martin the barman. Breakfast exceptional.
k. g.
Visited the bar,for pre gig drinks. Staff super friendly. Men's toilets were blocked though
A. H.
Lovely ambience, convenient car pull in lane outside. High quality decor. Location a bonus in the heart of city. Friendly staff.
E. L.

T. L.
Fantastic location, great room, and the hotel staff were lovely. I had a brilliant stay at the Radisson Blu Birmingham.
D. T.
Really liked the hotel inside and out. It's a shame there was some disturbances such as a Christmas party on the first floor going on till about midnight.
A.

L. W.
Excellent service. Friendly and professional staff... clean and comfortable rooms. Definitely stay again
A. B.
Really nice hotel, great room, breakfast bought to the room, parking is a bit of a problem as the nearest NCP is about £25 for 24 hours.
R. G.
Absolutely beautiful suite. And the shower gel is amazing. Wish you could buy it.
J. K.
Lovely room.. comfy bed could improve yhe bathroom too small
J. C.
Basic especially considering the price. Have had nicer, cheaper, rooms at premier inn or travel lodge. Room was clean but a little tired.
H. G.
I was the group organiser for 25 people during a 2 day work event - we experienced a few issues including any changes needing to be emailed (which proved difficult with a lack of signal / difficulties connecting to WiFi), however, the staff were flexible and understanding so overall it was a fairly good experience with a few minor faults
H. T.
Standard business hotel. Rooms are outdated and in need of renovation. Convenient lo action near the station.
Comfortable enough and decent breakfast.
J.
Great hotel with really convenient location. The room on top floor with city view is amazing!
L. L.
Radisson Blu hotels always offer great facilities, 1st class service and confirm in a contemporary setting. The Birmingham one is no different.
M. H.
Nice view from the 16th floor, comfy bed, pillows were a bit too soft, room got too hot at points.
S. M.
Give this a 11/10. Bare man pull up and customer service always 10. Shoutout the manager for giving free drinks and upgrading the room. My G.

Tired and breakfast not up to scratch for a 4 Star hotel
A. A.
Close to Birmingham New Street, good sized room, good service, modern, in the centre, close to eateries although area looks a bit rough and a bit dark (not well lit) in late evening.
A. -.
Lovely hotels but the stuff look down at you if you don't have to right dress code
M. F.
Nice but felt a little rushed.
Dont know if it because I wasnt booked in there. Bill played. No problem.
S. I.
Nice stay, the only reason I've given it 4*s is that room service breakfast was late but I understand it was a busy time
D. B.

Lovely beds but the creaking noise on the 12th floor due to the wind🤔I was told from the night porter who offered me ear plugs, kept me awake all night.

M. (.
Nice hotel, staff were excellent. £15 for 24 hours parking feels very steep but it is a city centre.
C. L.
Service with a smile. Cost is steep but when you arrive you still feel like you can see why it costs that bit more. Worth revisiting if the situation called for it again.
B. T.
Attended Christmas party. Menu was not bad. Venue looked very good and we were well looked by the staff
C. P.

A. G.
Room was nice and neat. Gentleman at the reception desk was helpful and nice
A. R.
Rooms a little tired for a Radisson hotel. A little noisy at night with the nightlife nearby - even from the 14th floor.
J. G.
Really good view from the room. Nice, clean and reasonably priced for what you get
L. B.
Only popped in, haven't been since it was relatively newly opened, didn't see rooms but the bit I did see needed an urgent refurb!
