P. R.I haven't been here for a while, what a fab place better than I remember. St Paul's Square is a picturesque setting for a venue and the club it self has that upmarket feel.
The live music from Thomas Atlas was amazing as good as any you will see👍

N. B.Lovely warm welcome, absolutely amazing night watching live music by the fabulous Brian McFadden supported by the awesome Gina Larner. Brian's live and acoustic set was beautiful and really stripped back to allow his stunning raw and gritty voice to shine through to perfection.
Unfortunately the vibe in the room was somewhat flat and the crowd let Brian down on the night which was a real shame. This was the 2nd consecutive night we had seen Brian so could really feel the difference in the audiences.
The venue is lovely and in a great location with excellent parking facilities which are also especially good for disabled guests too. The room temperature wasn't too hot and stuffy and it was easy to get served at the bar. The drinks were at the price we would expect for the kind of establishment. Plenty of staff working and all lovely and presentable. Toilets were bright, clean and tidy. Love the addition of the stair lift for disabled guests, top marks for being inclusive in that respect ✔ We would definitely return.
K. W.The musicians and staff at this venue are amazing. Everyone is very friendly and really lovely. I went with a small group of people of different ages (between 23-50 years old) and everyone had a brilliant night.
The drinks are also very reasonably priced and we will definitely be back soon!

Great atmosphere great bunch of people from all walks of life. Highley recommended if your in the vicinity. Incredibly welcoming!
M. H.It's a great place for live music and a few drinks, been going there for years. Unfortunately because of the pandemic in common with other venues it's really suffering. I know people are still fearful but if we can't be a little braver and get out to these kinds of places they'll disappear for good, and it would be a real shame to let that happen.

A few weeks ago I hosted a birthday party in restaurant area for 12 people. Food was absolutely amazing, service was IMPECCABLE. Great music, fantastic atmosphere, and no disrespectful people. Big thanks to the general manager, restaurant manager and the waitresses. We are had lovely time and we will be definitely coming back!!!
G. J.I went to The Jam House on a Saturday night during Covid so my review is for now not before covid. For the start booking was really simple, very polite staff on the phone and I had to call back to put down a deposit, when I did they informed me a better table had become available and popped us on to that one.
When we got there the first few members of staff were really polite and helpful sat us down and got us drinks straight away. Really nice atmosphere and you are definitely not to close to other tables so you have you own space. Our food order was taken quickly and by an amazing waitress and to be honest we have 3 different members of staff serve us and all 3 were amazing. The food came out really quickly and was pretty good. Don't get me wrong it was by no means amazing but for dinner out I was more than happy with it. We ordered a lot of drinks and had 3 courses of food and the bill was about £140 which is definitely acceptable for a night out. All in, the food was good, the drinks was good, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was really nice. I would definitely go back to listen to another band and have dinner again.

W.This is a great place to go if you like live music, but personally I am not a fan of live music, I prefer a DJ, but you can get the best of both worlds because they do have a DJ in between the live music, there is a bar on the ground floor and there are stairs to get up to the dancefloor and another bar and more stairs to get up to the tables, the place and the atmosphere is really nice, no sticky dancefloor which is a bonus 😂 and the drinks are reasonably priced

D.First time going here on Saturday 21st with friends, wasn't sure what to expect. I was very impressed with the live music, positive vibes from everyone just out enjoying themselves. Enjoyed myself so much time flew by and we stayed 'till kicking out. Staff were welcoming, door staff were the same couldn't be any better, really made the evening great, left with a smile on my face. I will be coming here again for certain.

A. W.What a venue. If you enjoy quality food, live music and a great atmosphere then this is somewhere for you. I've been here several times in the past and have always had an enjoyable time. Not your typical venue with drunk leary idiots and imbecilic doormen/security. From the moment you walk in you're treated like a person, not just someone here to fill the till. Doormen and service staff are brilliant, courteous and professional. Great for small or large groups (especially if you book in advance) and most of the time you can get a three course meal from a good menu with a show included.

V. H.Overall very nice venue. Music sound and quality is up to good standards! We visited twice in December and had good service from the staff. Drinks are a tad bit expensive, but the overall feel of the place is for older people anyway. Unfortunately I did more videos than photos inside, but it was okay. If you like funk / souls type of music combined with older generation classics then def give the Jam 🏠 a visit.

A. C.I used to visit the Jam House regularly & hadn't been for a good few years. It is still as popular as ever with great live music and a fab atmosphere. I also like the fact that it isn't impossible to get served at the bar (like in some other establishments). There was a distinct lack of the 'wrong' element so well done to the door staff too.

M. B.We only stayed downstairs for a few minutes whilst the floor above was being prepared. Once we got upstairs we were there for a few hours dancing and singing along with Apollo Soul who were performing last night. They were fantastic, so much so that my partner and I might book them for our hypothetical wedding.
The Jam House has a novelty means of storing tables and chairs - they are hooked on to a vertical beam and rise up to the ceiling, or at least near it.
Free to go, nice atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. We didn't stop for food because the place around the corner had nicer food, or so we were told, than the Jam House's offering. I reiterate that I've never tasted it and I know just how different opinions can be.
Will go again and would recommend it to loved ones. The picture is of the band, who I would recommend to anyone

Booking the event was easy.
Music was great, and the set up for the event during restrictions was also great.
Service excellent to tables and staff looked like they were really on it.

P. S.Had a great night out with my girlfriend last week. Especially the tall bar man on the main bar was super friendly. We asked for a few drinks that weren't on the menu and he was super nice and happy to make them to our taste. During the entire night we kept coming back to him and he provided us with great service. Overall we had a great night and we'll definitely come back, I highly recommend!

D. S.Love the Jam House! As a party of women in their mid-20s it was perfect. We didn't have food but I've heard it's fantastic. We got in free as it was before 8pm and then had two for one cocktails which were between £6-£8, which I think is really reasonable for a Saturday night! The music was fantastic, we had a right boogie :)
A. J.I visited for their Thursday njght salsa party and dinner with friends. It was my first visit and I must say they have left a great impression. Food was delicious and flavourful. Seating could be better as I was very squashed up but maybe because we had a big party. Music is on point. Very lively crowd. The host was great at instructing us and teaching us the dance moves. It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves and being so free. I'd recommend this place is a heartbeat. I had sweet-potato and coconut soup and fish as a main.
Quite the hidden gem. Can't believe I never heard of it before. If you're ever in Birmingham for a night out check them out.

Book in advance in the restaurant and you can eat, and then keep your table all night, which is really useful. Food is average in general, but staff are really lovely and offer good service for this type of venue. Music is fabulous.

T. P.Went to the jam house a couple of Friday's ago for the first time in some 10 years. Thoroughly enjoyable night with friends and the venue provides a good place to enjoy a dance and rave up. As a wheelchair user it's accessible with stair lift though do feel a full lift would enhance the experience further as when on the dance floor to get back down to the toilets is rather slow with the current stair lift arrangement.

The audience is appreciative, knowledgeable and always in the mood for an energetic evening. Door policy whilst not strict is selective and lends perfectly to a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Relaxation that soon evaporates when the music starts and the dance floor fills!

The interior is good for groups of different sizes but obviously can get a bit cramped on a Friday/Saturday night.
Prices are on the higher side but if on a night out it's worth a visit.
A. K.Great music venue. House band are great and always a great line up of guest acts. A little pricey for drinks but ensures a good crowd come in. If you love live music, then this is the place for you.
A. R.Live music venue. It's free to enter on a weeknight and before 9 (I think) on the weekends, but it can be very busy on a Saturday in particular; almost to the point of discomfort. Drinks are quite expensive and the music very loud. Great if you're going out to enjoy the entertainment and dance but not so good if you want to chill and chat. The acts are invariably very professional.

Oh....and amazing music to enjoy - my favourite bar in the world is the Players Bar in Embankment (London) but the Jam House is a close second!!!
A. S.Great place and music. They really need to be more clear on dress code. I saw lots of people in faded blue jeans yet before my visit it stated black jeans only, not faded or ripped. Also someone put on reviews that sat night was shirt and tie but that wasnt the case.

P. B.Went to a show launch here for first visit. Situated in St. Paul's Square near the jewellery quarter. The area leaves a little to be desired but the venue itself was really nice. They looked after us extremely well and plied us with lots of lovely snacks and drinks plus a glass of bubbly. I believe it to be a venue of jazz and other live music which I would imagine goes down very well. A nice building on two levels, friendly staff and clean Loo's! They looked after us all very well and the show launch was very entertaining. ( Mowtown the Musical) coming to the Alexandra theatre later in the year. Have booked my tickets already. J. E.We went on a friday and it was quite quiet. If you are over 40 and lookung for over 40's and you are single this is the place to go. The place is easy to get to and about normal what you would pay in any club in Birmingham. The atmosphere was quite friendly and the ladies are approachable. I would definitely go again, however, i may leave my twin sister at home😁

P. L.I wasn't aware that there was an entrance fee when I stepped through the doors (the bouncers should have told me), but once indoors it was a great night out. I stuck to a craft beer I knew (turned out to be the cheapest) and there were three excellent bands on. I'm knocking a star off because the cash machine had a service charge, which left an unpleasant impression.

The only reason I cannot give 5 stars was due to the unpleasant atmosphere which occurred due to fellow guests complaining about an encroachment by us on the balcony spot in front of their table. I did speak to the guest about what was the problem and reported it to the staff.
