Reviews of Bournemouth International Centre

We have been to many concerts here. We live in Devon so this is usually the closest big venue to us.
We were due to attend our concert in June 2020 & it was deferred until May 2022.
We were nervous about being in close proximity to so many people as we have been shielding for over 2 years.
We were impressed by the efficiency of cleanliness & security of the BIC staff.
Crowd control was well handled & everything felt safe.

Saw 'War of the Worlds'. Excellent view of the stage from the upper seating at door 6. Clear, airy auditorium but could do with more toilets. Plenty of bars though. Where else can you get 2 pints of beer in a glass the size of a flower vase?

Got BIC early, 4pm. Had a walk around Bournemouth pier. Got to BIC bar about 6.30pm, had a drink while waiting for the doors to open. Could of had a few more table and chairs. Very efficient at getting people into the auditorium, ushers were very good at helping people find their seats.( Seats were not very comfortable, seats in the Mayflower theatre much better). Great timings for interval. The War of the Worlds was fantastic. Tripod Martian's legs cover the back viewing screen a bit. All in all fantastic show. Because I prepaid my parking, we were able to leave without much of a delay. The anpr system didn't hold us up at the barrier. Well done ,a great system.

A good sized venue worth seating and cafes and bars. The seats in the arena are small but comfortable. Could do with a refresh.

Awesome show, facilities were clean. Good staff levels. Seat felt like they were from the 1920s, desperately need replacing. I know they need to be removable but there are much better options out there considering the prices they charge.

Had a great time here at the George Benson concert. Great seats with unobstructed views of the stage

Myself and my partner took my gran to see Mrs Brown's Boys. She's a massive fan and never misses an episode (even if it's a repeat).
Since lockdowns her mobility of getting out and about isn't so great today. We didn't get the chance to book front row seats and we didn't expect lockdowns to go on for so long. ANYWAY!
Like I say my gran isn't very mobile but the venue allowed us to use her wheel chair. They offered us help (but we was okay holding her hands and arms and walking her up to the last row of seats on the terrace. Go granny! The team kept an eye on the wheel chair and put it in a safe place. We waited for the venue to empty so she didn't feel the need to rush down the stair way and your wonderful team met us at the steps and was encouraging her down them! They escorted us out and down to the disabled loos (we felt privileged haha). They was very chatty and wished us well on our journey back to Oxford & then Reading. Honestly, a very big thank-you from the bottom of our hearts!! Everyone was wonderful and what a smooth ride it felt. Definitly makes us feel like we can come back and still be able to get granny to and from her seat with no problems for any future shows :-)
Thank you again

A large venue with good Visibility even up in the gods where we were. Not so good if your in a wheel chair with railings in your eyesight. Parking at £10 is a joke especially when it takes 45 min to get out off the adjoining car park.

Excellent parking! Easy access to any area of seating. Perfect size for concert.

Had a fantastic night watching the wonderful David Gray...such a great performance in very comfortable surroundings...only shock was the cost of parking the car for the event as they charged 10 pounds for the privilege. For people with not much money and no time to park off limits it seems a bit harsh. But other than that we thoroughly enjoyed it
