Pros Great music awesome djs and live great bands Great atmosphere Cons Pricey Dirty toilets and sticky floors. Not much space. Too hot 4 out of 5 because of the music otherwise the score would be a lot lower

Friendly staff and nice cocktails with live music. Service can be abit slow but then again cocktails take a while to make specially if its only one person making them . They do serve food from a place down the road ( pizza and nachos) wouldn't recommend tho . Flavours are OK but you don't really get what you ask for they seem to just lob everything they find on your pizza . But for £5 it's OK and they arnt really known for the food so it's not really a bad point for the bar . Overall enjoyed our time in there .

What a brilliant band Saturday night - my friends and I were only going to stay for one but ended up staying until the very end! The electric guitar player was very entertaining and made me want to dance; will hopefully see them again in there soon - I can't remember the band name - Adam something. Would have given it a 5 star but the bar staff were super slow - cocktails take ages though tbf and the door staff could do with being more welcoming - smiles cost nothing and it's the first impression of the club Baz

I've been to Casablanca's many times over the years and it's always a good night. If you like a bit of a dance and some funky music played by a talented bunch of musicians then definitely check this place out!

Absolutely amazing place, my mates and I would always come over to drink after starting our night at The Globe and listen to the live music in the basement bar. They had very cheap drinks but a £10 limit on card-use, so we’d always end up ordering way too much and get completely sloshed. That might have contributed somewhat to all the happy memories. 😂

Great place for a night out - really cheap entry, moderately priced drinks and an awesome atmosphere, I've never had a bad night here. Make sure you are there for the live Jazz Band (it's hard to miss them) - they are incredible and play a huge range of old school tunes.

Fantastic night out with a live band. Drinks are decent price, and incredibly quickly prepared. The decor is great, if cars parked indoors are your kind of thing then this is the place for you.

A great dance hall with possibly the fastest staff I’ve ever experienced. The bar is just of the dance flour, and so easy to access. It was busy when I when but never too busy, had a buzz however you were never crushed. The music was poor however.

The best nights I've ever had in Brighton have always been here. If you like Live music (normally mo-town and 90s dance classics) you'll love this place. It's always packed with people for very good reason! Always worth the entrance fee.

Have had many a great random night here! Don't go too early, as there won't be much of an atmosphere, but the live bands are always great at getting the crowd dancing until the small hours!

It's a gritty, somewhat sticky underground venue, you have to pay to enter but once inside the drinks are reasonably priced. The atmosphere is cool and the live music when we were there was great, nice little bolt hole in Brighton for those who want to keep it real!

Don't expect a high end jazz club here. Studenty. A bit grotty. Not a great selection of booze. Used to do really cheap vodka mixers during the week but you get what you pay for there. If it's not full of students it's full of stag/hen groups in my experience. The live music here however is fantastic! But some places are difficult to see the band due to the layout of the bar.

Crazy, late night, atmospheric, basement bar and club! Music is often amazing, and the visitors get right in to it - always some good dancing going on. Ronnie Scott's this is not - it's very low.key, stripped back and raw, and if you wander in by chance you never really know what kind of music or crowd will be there. Drinks are fine but that's not why you'd go, it's all about the music. If you're in Brighton, it's late and you fancy something a bit different you could do a lot worse
