Absolutely love this venue, been going to gigs here for the last 20yrs on and off and they're always good. Most recently saw Inflames here but have seen acts such as The Damned and Anna Calvi here and the sound is pretty much always spot on.

the venue is great, awesome sound and prices are very reasonable. Bar staff are lovely and very helpful. The Security are mean. If the event isn't busy they single people out, one of my friends got violently removed after tripping over in the crowd, not his fault!!! I get followed into the toilets everytime and it's very off putting when I struggle with a medical condition. No one can fully enjoy their night when you're being watched, ruins the whole atmosphere.

First visit to this music and club venue of which I had heard good reports and wow it was as great as told, if not even better. Took my daughter to see the tribute band ABBA Gold. Lovely venue, well organised, well stocked and staffed bar. Excellent sound system to boot. Will be back.

Concorde 2, a venue and border marker between Brighton city centre and the Marina has The city's longest bar and one of the most charismatic stages in this city of charming venues. The world's pop/ rock and country stars seem to agree as this has them performing there week in and week out. If you have the opportunity you would be spending time and money wisely to come see someone you love perform at close quarter.

Serves this City well as a great music venue, a pleasant stroll along Madeira Drive, East from the Palace Pier. World famous, I believe. Doesn't serve draught ale ..... but does have a good selection of other on tap beers and cans. No food on site. Lovely Victorian building, steeped in history, for an old Brightonian, such as moi. It was about three quarters rammed for this Alfa Mist gig and I was happy when the security staff opened double doors at the side, to let fresh air in. Some mask wearing, which is up the individual. Had a great night. XXX

A unusual atmospheric venue. Was hard to find because we didn't know what the outside looked like and I thought it was just the coastal shower bathrooms. The Inside reminds me of the bronze nightclub from Buffy it looks like a den of vamps live in there. Reasonable drink prices. If they could put locks on the bathroom doors it would be nicer, it won't cost much to make the standard improvements.

Love the venue, went to see Peach Pit there recently. However the crowd and band both complained about it being too hot during the gig. The band had fans it looked like but the audience were all getting extremely hot. Other than that great time.

Saw Warmducher here not long ago, the sound was perfect and an ideal size for a lively gig. Has a cloakroom at the back when it inevitably gets far too hot. Good selection of beers and ales on tap.

Nice small venue, security was excellent, staff all very friendly the only reason for 4 stars not 5 is the fact that they do not have a raised area for disabled people. When you in a wheel chair you can't see the stage properly. A small raised area to the right of the stage would be a fantastic idea

What's not to like. Down and dirty. Always see Dub Pistols here and never let's you down. Car parking is free form 2000 to 0900 on the front. Booze a bit pricey but as tickets are a tenner who cares. They have to make a profit!!

Concorde 2 is one of my favourite venues ever. From banging club nights to small personal gigs. Massive names and unsigned bands. Day festivals including Alternative Notting Hill and always a fun and friendly vibe. People go to dance, enjoy the music and have fun not to show off! Bouncers are great and bar staff always friendly. Definitely check out the listings of you're visiting for the weekend!!

Pretty good venue. Went to see a band there on Monday and the staff were all lovely. The venue itself is a nice size. Could use some signs for the toilets and ordering in enough alcohol - the cools light on tap was off after about 9.15pm as they’d run out, I worked in a pub for many years and had never experienced running out of beer/lager. Could use some air con too, by the end of the gig I was completely drenched in sweat. Also phone signal is rubbish but that’s not the venues fault. Overall I had a good time and liked the place, great sound too.

Only real medium sized venue in the area that attracts decent talent. They have nailed the sound and lighting. But it is a sweat box and has some obstructed views due to pillars in some areas. Hard to see artists sat at a piano. Sound is the pretty important and they have nailed it every time I have visited so I have to give it 4 stars - not sure anywhere in Brighton is doing it better.

One of the best club venues I've been to. Quality music which attracts a discerning, up for it and friendly crowd more into their dancing than pulling. Musicians range from the famous to the up and coming. Bouncers are chatty and professional so you always feel safe, even as a woman clubbing alone. If you live in Brighton, then I'm preaching to the converted, if you're visiting, get yourself down there.

Been many times to watch bands. Great venue accept for the pillars but they do offer some character to the venue. Beer is pricey but that is to be expected at a venue on Brighton seafront. Bit of a walk from Brighton station but plenty of good pubs to pop in on the way.

Saw Jake shears there last night & wow what a great performance. Was a bit shocked at the price of a small bottled water £2, but credit to Concorde2 as they did hand out bottled water to the crowd as the heat in there was immense. Great price for the tickets as well.

Can here for an awesome Skindred gig. It’s a decent sized venue and has a decent bar area too. If you see someone you wanna see live is performing here if recommend you go. Ticket prices are responsible too.

Amazing night at the Concorde 2 club watching an orchestra play Michael Jackson's greatest hits. The venue itself has a great 'shabby' vibe about it, and feels like a social club with a bar. Drinks are pricey, bit it is Brighton. Getting the the club was a nightmare as it's on the beach front and not accessible from the main road, other than that... Great place.

It is a great place.. but I can only give three stars as I find it really unacceptable how one gets thrown out at the end. Especially when there are two events one literally gets pushed out at the end of the first one. I strongly recommend to change this policy and to organize things in a way that there is time to cool down and to stay a bit longer after something (for example a concert) has ended. It is not really appealing to go somewhere and to pay reasonable amounts of money to be pushed out immediately after the band or event has ended. More sensitivity on that level would improve the experience a lot. There is a lot of effort being taken to make it good.. no point in destroying all of it during the last five minutes which should actually be thirty minutes or twenty at least.

Always been a great local Brighton gig venue, moved quite a few years back from opposite the Pier, now a burger king. That's why it's now called Concorde II. A small and intimate venue great place. Seen the fab Sigrid, Gong and Robin Trower there live in the last 6 years.

One of my most-visited venues and favourite places to see bands. Sound system is soooo good especially for D'n'B and rock gigs. Toilets are quite dirty but that's ok.

The acoustics are fantastic in this club, saw incognito ,top quality will defo go and see them again. One criticism, switch the air conditioning on..if have a problem with your system...I can put you in touch with someone who can fix it.!!!!

Great venue particularly like the screen at the bar so you don't miss any of the gig bar staff are friendly enough although security were morons they beat the crap out of some guy who had snuck in yeah ok so the guy should have paid for the ticket like the rest of us did but when I went out to the smoking area he was covered in blood an ambulance and police turned up really out of order hope the 'security' involved get fired. Also the panes of glass on the doors were both cracked it will no doubt get fixed after some poor guy/girl puts there hand through it.
