G. S.Great Greek restaurant. Service is attentive and always enthusiastic with menu recommendations and suggestions. Not a bad wine selection. It turns into a club later in the downstairs area with tables available for reservations if you want a private area.
K. K.Lovely decor, a lot of attention has been put in the place and it is beautiful to say the least. The service is excellent, perfect. The food was really good, only complaint would some of the seafood was a little overcooked however the flavours were outstanding.
S. S.Some reviews worried me but we had a great evening. If you are a grecophile you will enjoy the decor, the staff are all Greek, attentive and friendly. The food is pricier than it needs to be but it is good, especially the trio of cheese plate. The house Greek white was unexpectedly delicious too! The music was not too loud when we were there (as other reviews stated) but perhaps later in the evening when the bar downstairs gets going it might be ? All in all we enjoyed ourselves, food and service good.
B. S.After a confusion with booking for my friend’s hen do, Opa we’re very helpful and helped us to resolve the issue and even gave us a bottle to compensate for the trouble. Thank you!
R. W.They made some effort to make it a nice valentine's evening that somehow had a nice Greek feel to it. Roses on the tables, heart balloons strewn across the floor and a gentlemen playing love songs on the saxophone was a nice touch. Food was good, service was good and we were pleased :)

Sadly music not so great.. Dj could do with better songs. Play something that brings people in.. the whole song skipping every 30 sec is terrible.. jumping between R&B to pop into house than back to old school and the reggae.. all happening within 2/3minutes .. just too much won't bring good vibe.. I'm a dancer and love club dancing sadly something I can't do at this club.

Lovely music and big space for the club as well. You will be able to have great moments with a Mediterranean taste straight away from Greece but the same time you will have fun,dance and get drunk afterwards. 🥴

B. H.Hen party heaven. If you want the ultimate hen party experience look no further than Opa. From the minute we walked in we were made to feel special. We had booked the cocktail and hen party package and it was worth every penny. The sumptuous surroundings added glamour to this fun event. Our bartender George was charming and entertaining and we had great fun watching the cocktail demonstrations and then having a go ourselves. Each lady was encouraged and we thoroughly enjoyed this element of the hen party. The bride to be was made to feel extra special and the cocktails were amazing. We then had the meze which was absolutely delicious. A great and bountiful selection of food served by charming staff. I will definitely be going back for food as Opa is my new favourite restaurant, well worth a visit for foodies.
Then we went to a private booth for 2/4-1 cocktails and Prosecco served with fire and ice, a spectacular end to the evening.
I have to say while the surroundings are fabulous and the evening was great fun the staff really made the event. We all were made to feel special and they went above and beyond to make a group with a range of ages have an enjoyable time. Can’t recommend highly enough. If you are looking for a hen party, a special occasion or just a night out then head for opa you won’t be disappointed.
J. C.Customer service is one of the best I've come across in a long while. Party of 9 or so as attend for a leaving/birthday party. Food was good, meats marinated well and veg were not over cooked. Not cheap but a good value. The VIP lounge was excellent although a little bit on the small side. Music was not too my liking but got you up. Lots of young people enjoying the dance area. Drinks are expensive but overall a good choice for the visit.
G. N.We came here as we really love the food at the Bath restaurant. We were hoping it would be as good and we weren't disappointed. In fact I think it was actually better as the setting felt very authentic Greek. The staff were fantastic and the food was divine.
We had the Greek meze and it was delicious and fairly priced. It wasn't cheap but it was excellent quality.
Definitely worth a visit if you like Greek or Mediterranean food. The bar underneath looked nice too.

R. L.Not the cheapest place to eat but the food was very tasty, so no complaints there.
The music was quite loud. The restaurant gradually turned into a club with later hours and became so loud, that we couldn't hear each other speaking at the same small table. So not ideal if you intended to have a conversation.
The staff wasn't very attentive. We were not asked if we want more drinks despite all of our glasses and bottles empty for over half an hour.
a. s.Very nice evening spent with my work colleagues. The decor was lovely and the food was fantastic also turned out o be good value. The only thing I would like to point out is because of the open style kitchen it did have a strong smell of the grill within the restaurant.

U. S.The food was magnificent and the service was fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone living in or visiting the area. I ordered the lamb and it was quite possibly the best I've had in a restaurant. The accompanying pureed potatoes with carrots and celery was also quite delectable--which speaks volumes as I typically detest celery.
p. s.Polish nights are really good. So many nice, friendly people. The atmoshpere is fun. Prices are decent. Bar staff is really polite, even when dealing with drunk polish people😀 I like the style of this place also. 10/10!

An all Greek staff who really know their food, wine and impeccable manners. We frequent the Greek islands and coming here is just like being there if only for a beautiful, brief break from real life in Bristol.
I wholly recommend the mushroom starter but all lovely.
My favourite main is all of them.
The manager there Alex is an absolute gentlemen and so kind to us and everyone we see him talking to.
It’s a must location to go in Bristol!

Don't come with a large group, they won't give you enough space to eat, or even sit at times. Nice to try Greek food, and to experience a mockery of the famous plate smashing ritual, but overall very disappointing.

V. T.OPA is busy because it's popular. And it's popular because it's very good. Definitely book for a Saturday evening. My two experiences have included delicious food and excellent service at a reasonable price, considering they are in the heart of Bristol. The kleftiko (lamb shank) was amazing. Very generous serving of beautifully tender lamb on the bone, served with vegetables (much healthier than chips) and a smattering of mashed potato. The mixed meze is also delicious and a great way to sample a good cross-section of Greek cuisine without over-indulging. The service was attentive and professional on both my visits and we were made to feel very welcome. I will definitely be returning.
p. s.The food was unbelievable tasty. The staff ware so friendly and positive. The atmosphere was amazing. For a minute we even felt that we are in Greece. We do recommend on 100%.
