Comedians were great but the set up was poor. It was as if they hadn't run a comedy night before...delayed entry into club, food not ready and when it was it was very low quality, the mic didn't work well which the comedians did well to deal with, a member of the staff pushed past me for every act to do some reading round my feet. Great comedy, perhaps need to find a better venue.

Great comedy, dodgy food! Went as part of a stag night and had food whilst inside. The two options offered were either Nacho's or hot dog. I made the mistake of choosing the hot dog. The voucher to be handed to the server had a picture of a real sausage hot dog with nice looking toppings on. What was presented instead was a footlong rollover hot dog fished out of some lovely grey water in a stale bun with some chips, that were fresh at some point, just not that night. The comedy however was too notch and I laughed my ass off all night. There were 3 comics and a compare. It was great to see that each comedian had different styles, yet were still extremely funny. My advice would be to visit and enjoy yourself, just eat before you go!!!

The stand up comedy was decent, however the drinks were on the expensive side. Also they decide to blast music at you between the comedians at such volume you are unable to have a conversation with the person next to you. I can only imagine this is to push you towards going to the bar to spend more money.

Definitely recommend it. We went on a saturday night having booked the tickets the same day. They have a convenient bar and provide dinner if you buy the tickets accordingly. It's fairly big and despite their strict "arrive on time" announcement on their website the show actually started 45min after the official time. Really had a good time with comedians and I didn't know I could laugh so hard. The MC was quite good as well.

I've been here numerous times now and its always a good night. I have to say the previous venue was better, but the Pryzm night club isn't bad and seating is organised, bar serves quickly and generally flows well. The site clearly states the type of food serves, so it baffles me why the reviews are people so shocked and disappointed. It's 'street style food', if you want a proper sit down meal go for dinner before the show. Its a reasonably priced night, the drinks are pricey but they are at an venue like this. Cerys Nelmes is my absolute favourite compare, very funny! Keep doing what you're doing guys:-)

I have been in twice now and i liked it. but I'm just reading the replies Whilst its good for an owner to respond I can't help but notice that every time a customer says how they felt the owner contradicts them and basically tells them they are wrong. To the owner, up to you but as a person looking at reviews to decide on a venue, your passive aggressive response is a bit offputting

Visited Riproar Comedy on the 28th March (standup and boogie night) and the 3rd April (cafe bar) and both nights were brilliant! Thoroughly recommend it for a night out, great atmosphere, good acts, some better than others but overall such a good night. The night gets started around 8.30, with about 30 mins between each act. For some people that might sound long but for both groups we went with it meant we could make a night of it, perfect timing to go get a drink and have a chat between each, leaving suitably sloshed by the end!

I went to Riporar for comedy and food on Friday, 1.5.15 with some friends. The comedians were funny, the staff and atmosphere was nice and the food was alright too. We all had a great night, really good value for money!

We visited Riproar for a stand-up night about a month ago and we had good fun. Staff is really friendly and the special event was really well organised. Also the place is really easy to find contrary to what one other review says. It is exactly where Google maps points. We are going to visit the place again next week :)

The comedy was bizzare.... We got there late and waited 5 minutes to get a drink while bar staff were chatting.... Finally they approached us telling us that it is too late now to be served... Maybe I would have liked the comedy more had it not been for this bad start of the night
