One of Bristols finest venue for live music💯🔊🎶🎵..parking a bit difficult but plenty of side rds so get there early..we drove down from Brum..love the Authenticity and vibes. Was greeted at the door by management. Excllent security..made new friends 👊🏾👊🏾.So you know its a "Freindly" venue. Various ages attended the "Reggae" event. Fast friendly bar staff..cant fault it..oh yea..wish it could go on till morning.. But thats me just being greedy🤣🤣🤣

Friendly music and community venue - has the feel of places you used to see more of in Bristol. Should be cherished.

One of my favourite venues for live music in Bristol. Great eclectic selection of musical artists, reasonably priced bar and friendly bar staff. You're pretty much guaranteed a good night at the Jam Jar!

Fun, friendly, nicely decorated venue with very clean unisex toilets. Bar staff and great and give you abit of fun back chat that I love. You recommend to adults of all ages.

First visit. Nice venue. Bar staff were friendly & professional serving people quickly as it was busy. Lovely venue but it you can't handle stairs or unisex toilets then give it a miss. I just don't like putting my lippy on when there's a man using the urinals behind me. No big deal but some people may not like that.

One of the best venues in a city with incredible competition! The vibe is lovely: the staff are super friendly and accommodating, the bands are top tier, the lighting and visuals are super, the drinks are fab. I've booked tickets to The Jam Jar not knowing what's on but knowing it'll be super and I've never been disappointed. Crackin' jams had!

Great venue for those that like to get close to their acts. Sound system was better than expected, and the bar well stocked. Toilets were... interesting.

Really nice little venue, it wasn't an absolute sauna, good selection of beer, and the toilets were impressively quaint!

One minute you're in an industrial estate next to Old Market, then you go through the wardrobe (a door and up a flight of stairs) then you're in the magical land of the Jam Jar. Seems to be much more on the level these days. It used to be all run from a couple of extension cables and the bar was a pile of red stripe! Now there are battery operated escape lights and Tequila at the bar. Hiw ti.es change. Great little spot. I love it.

Such a unique venue, with local beer and good music what more can you ask.

Great space with a good selection of beer and music events. It's not immediately obvious where it is as the sign outside is teeny tiny :) Not sure if there is any ramp/lift access to the venue.

Eclectic gathering of musicians engaged in flowing jam sessions throughout the evening and into early next day. Bar available as is a limited range of wholesome food.
Check the website - normally takes place last Saturday of every month but that can be variable depending on national holiday periods.

Great atmosphere, inviting for new people to get up and jam, fantastic quality of music, decent prices, definitely will go again.
Only gripe is struggled to find online which nights are their jam sessions but an email cleared it up quickly :)

An up and coming venue in Bristol where many like this are becoming memories of the past. Jam Jar isn't just a venue its a community of family and friends putting on events from performance of arts through to bands and DJs. To any one I recommend keeping a close eye on this venue as you will miss the great events they hold if you blink.

One of the best socially distanced events I have been to. Great service, reasonable prices, great decor and amazing atmosphere. Will be back after lockdown!

As this was a new venue for me, I was slightly anxious upon entering the venue as it was dark & there was no real lighting for the main stairwell access provided. However, once in the venue I found the venue staff to be super friendly & helpful, and I'll certainly come back to this venue again.

A great rehearsal and recording studio for musicians, coupled with a thriving working environment for other creative pursuits. The atmosphere allows for cross pollination of ideas due to the great shoulder rubbing opportunities provided. Excited to see how this place turns out!

A little ray of sunshine amidst covid gloom
Completely covid secure but just like being inside a little festival tent for an evening. Thanks for all your hard work to create a bit of joy! (Afrobeats night)
