Food is great, would recommend if you're not looking for the "gaucho-style" dining. We sat in the back which was spacious and quiet as the main section had some football revelers earlier. Drink menu is pretty fab as well.

I was super hungry and went into the first place I saw that had food. I didn’t realize it was a Brazilian restaurant but I stayed because the menu looked great. My server Valerie was excellent and helped me choose between 3 dishes that looked good. And my dish was EXCELLENT! If you like sea food it’s incredible. It’s called moqueca. See pics.

Ordered takeaway from here during lockdown, then came back recently. The atmosphere and music is really great here for drinking and dancing, and the food is nice and filling. Try the pão de queijo and the brigadeiro! Side note: a lot of the cocktails here have pineapple. They're very tasty, but if you don't like pineapple, try the caipirinha.

Originally booked hoping to sit outside in the sun for a few beers before a gig (which I’d recommend here) but ended up inside having some food. Plenty of space inside especially at the back, bit quieter as well if that suits you. The service was first class. The boy who attended to us was rapid, efficient and just a sound guy (I forget his name and want to say he had reddish hair but I might be wrong). The food was decent. We got a whole bunch of small plates mainly. The steak strips were more like little niblets of steak and therefore a little underwhelming in taste and quality but the chicken, in particular, was lovely as were the prawns. Those in our party who got proper main meals enjoyed it and the portions were plentiful. Good value. Plenty of drinks to choose from especially if you like a cocktail or three as well. Overall, a positive experience and recommended even if for nothing more than a nice cold pint on a sunny day!

It's a convenient location, the back area looked quite nice for eating but the front area (where we were) had very loud music, hard to catch up with my friends. The service was great and the menu interesting, but the chicken coconut curry I had was dull and not very filling. The iced cocktail was great. Felt more like a pre/post clubbing place than a restaurant. Would go back for cocktails but will not rush back for the food.

One of the best places in Glasgow for cocktails; they are substantial, full of flavour and reasonably priced. The Brazilian tapas are great for sharing with lovely authentic taste! As a Venezuelan myself I love cassava and the cassava from Boteco is super tasty and something I've not found in any other place in Glasgow! Would also recommend the Brazilian chorizo, the Coxinha with cheese, the grilled vegetables and the grilled prawns.

Had a wonderful Thursday evening enjoyed the fantastic music Atmos and service and on the way out took the opportunity to to tell one of the doormen how good it was on my first visit to Glasgow then asked him which way to merchant city and the the guy obviously thought it would be fun to send me in the opposite direction, sort your doormen out your better than that much better.

Delicious food!! A proper Brazilian food. I tried “risole de camarão” and “coxinha de frango”, and my husband had “feijoada” and “mandioca frita”. We absolutely loved them. If the “coxinha de frango” had “catupiry” it would be even more perfect. As desert we both had “pudim de leite” and it was amazing as well. I am totally going back soon to try more of their menu.

Because Brazil is in the tropics most of the Botecos are mainly outside seating and there is outdoor seating here although I would hate to try it in a Glasgow winter. A lot of country themed bars struggle for authenticity but this bar is quite authentic and the menu was quite authentic and the Brahma beer was much as I remembered it .

Dropped in for some late lunch. Staff were very busy but happy to help us, especially with our baby. The tapas was decent but not mind blowing, but I really enjoyed the feijoada. A great hearty dish. If you can, avoid sitting near the front door since it's very cold!

If I'm being honest, the meal was really not great. The gnocchi had the worst texture and was badly cooked, some parts were underdone, some were overcooked and others were crunchy? Strange. Some of the gnocchi had small balls of flour in them. Wouldn't go back for the food. Would not recommend. Overpriced. It was also sitting in a large pool of water with little to no sauce to redeem it.

Been to Boteco Do Brasil many times and love the atmosphere and the cocktails are excellent (especially the Mojitos). This was my first time ordering food and we just had some of the small tapas dishes that were lovely. As always the staff are super friendly and lovely. The only thing that stops it being a 5 star review is the staff need a bit more guidance regarding food allergies. Whilst for my partner it is only an intolerance so a minor issue, for someone else it could be more serious. Overall though it's great and the live music nights are amazing and much missed during covid.

Good night out, friendly colourful place with a nice vibe, my teens and their friends had burgers and the reports are they were good, I went for a seafood platter which was mostly whitebait a few bits of whitefish and a few prawns. The casava fries were excellent and my wife liked the house white . A good inexpensive evening out at a vibrant lively venue. Staff were super friendly.

Usually a really friendly place but yesterday it was wierd. New bouncer staff didnt let half the regular crowd in,claiming there has to be bookings. Something that I have never been asked before. I went in just before 11, got in with no prob. My friends who arrived around 11.30 were turned away, the place was half empty though, at the time. Huge compliments to the chef tonight!, Got a home delivery and it arrived really quick and was piping hot, I had the fish and Cajun fries ( Peixe Com Batatas Fritas ) the batter was crunchy and tasty , the Cajun fries were nice and fluffy inside.I also had fresh mussels and clams in a white wine sauce which were delicious and cooked to perfection, the meal was faultless, would highly recommend.

Have been several timer pre pandemic always very good.tonight though the service was shocking took half an hr for our drink to came but only 1 came eventually had to ask for the other but it was the wrong drink 3 servers later correct drink arrived ordered tapas it tasted OK but was cold. We were going to the theatre so no time for dessert as the food took so long On the upside it is dog friendly so will be back with the dog😅 the bar person did take the drinks off our bill that redeemed the situation .but now I'm editing the review as unfortunately on looking at my bank I've been overcharged by £5 and this is after leaving a tip Not Pleased at all. Went here 8/8/2020 with friends, booked a table on the outside as it was a glorious day. Food was ok but nothing exceptional. Staff I found to be quite abrupt, well one in particular. Spent just short of £200 and after paying the bill the waitress with the blue contacts told us to move inside. We had just ordered another round of drinks which had been paid for and not yet arrived at the table. We wanted to enjoy the sunshine and finish our last drink. But she was very persistent and would not listen to a point were she actually wasn’t pleasant at all. While trying to rush my sister knocked over her cocktail and this girl did not even bring a cloth for us to clean this off the table and her clothes. She just looked straight through me and walked away! Not good customer service in my opinion. I was only drinking water as I was driving. Please also note that while sitting there I did NOT see any tables being cleaned when people left. This is really concerning especially in the middle of a pandemic. I will not return to this restaurant and would rate them a 5/10 for food.

I even find McDonald's burgers more exciting … and that's fast food … My friend had fish and it was not special either. Just a lot of oil and that's it. A rather disappointing experience.

Amazing atmosphere, super cool staff and a great place to watch football games. The staff is kind and fast to attend you. It located in a great place and you get really cheap and classic food there. Tried their fried chicken and it was great. The chicken was tender, was cooked to perfection and the sauce as sides were just blending in with the chicken. Just W-O-W!

The Cassava chips are delicious and so was the cheese ball starter. The only downside was that must of the desserts are no longer gluten free (they used to be on the Menu, but the GF sign is now scored out), leaving only ice cream or fruit salad :(

Excellent place to stop off for a bite to eat, parking is a bit of an issue around the area but the food and atmosphere in the restaurant definitely make it worth going there. Food is lovely, staff are all really nice and helpful. It's a very busy and loud bar which makes it that much better than the competition. You go there to have fun, and oh man do they deliver. Open ti 3am and all kind of tastes suited for. From beer to cocktails. Staff is quite fast so you never have to wait long for whatever it js you fancy that night. Even if the bar is mobbed.

Food and drinks came quickly but the staff appear to be a bit slow, literally. With it being quiet it took 20 minutes before anyone came to us, essentially the typical parts of service such as the ordering and billing took double the time. Even after telling the staff that we have been waiting for a while she looked at me with zero expression. No apologies and no one asked how our food was at any point If you're okay with long waiting times, slightly above average food and stale staff then give this place a try. Otherwise its quite convenient that there are two restaurants at either side of this one as alternatives. Our visit was on the 6th August around 3:30 pm.

Where to start with boteco do Brasilia there are so many things that I love about this restaurant. They have a fantastic range of drinks, alcoholic and none. If you're looking for an exciting coffee experience, you should try some. The coffee here carries me away to Brazil. The Food The food in this place is incredible, so much choice and variety from Brazil. Every time we go there, we try something new. Some of my favourites are Risoli de camarao, berinjeal ao forno, brigadeiro. It is all freshly prepared, and the portion sizes are excellent; they will fill up the most hungry of person. It is also an outstanding value for money. There are also great options for vegetarians. When we go for food, it causes arguments because we're fighting over the last piece. They also have all sorts of starters that you can enjoy at the bar with a drink. They also do great exclusive deals. The Entertainment The entertainment here is fantastic; they always have excellent music. They also have everything from live music open mic night and salsa dancing. My favourite is the samba dancing that the girls do it's fantastic. Accessibility They are no problems getting a wheelchair into this restaurant or around it, and they have a perfectly adequate disabled bathroom. Staff and the restaurant The team here are amazing very attentive to your needs always got a smile and willing to help. The whole place is immaculate you could eat your dinner off the table; it's that clean. We had a birthday party here in August. The restaurant can put together a party pack; there are a few choices. We took one of their party packs which included a free cocktail for the birthday person Prosecco and a lovely homemade cake. The cake was delicious did not it last five minutes once our group got one taste of it we were fighting over the scraps. One of my favourite things to do in this restaurant is to sit outside with one of their delicious chocolate desserts an excellent coffee and a pack of smokes and watch Glasgow. I would highly recommend a visit here.

TASTY FOOD I ordered a takeaway today, it arrived very quick and I am very happy with the food. I been to Boteco few years ago and I didn't like the food but this time it was deliciouse. I would order again for sure, everything was very tasty. I ordered Feijoada and xinxim de galinha, both very tasty, everything was cooked perfectly. Yuuummmmy! Highly recommended

Went on a Monday for food and drinks. Both were very cheap, but I would recommend coming for the drinks and the great Brazilian atmosphere, not the food - though it was authentically Brazilian, it was not executed very well, certain dishes being cold and others watery. The bar has a mix of upright chairs and comfy couches, and they're usually showing some football on the projector. The food is great but we most often go to Boteco for a drink and to enjoy the upbeat atmosphere and the music. With Brahma on draft and a cracking cocktail menu (my fiancée loves the watermelon martini), you can't go wrong here.

We went to boteco for dinner with friends. The food was lovely but it took over 50mins for the main course to arrive. The table service was ok but abit pushy at the same time, we could tell that the waitress was quite new. My friends finished their starters and I was still eating as we were having a conversation the new waitress came to the table and removed their plates whilst I was still eating I didn't say anything but I felt uncomfortable. We ordered drinks again then 20 mins later no sign of the drinks or the waitress. We went on a Wednesday night and there was some salsa dancing which we enjoyed alot.

Everytime I go there it is playing salsa or reggeaton, they offer salsa/bachata classes, which is nice, but again, not Brazilian. Their Caipirinha is quite horrible, but the other drinks are good. So, for a Brazilian themed bar is terrible, for a normal bar, it is quite good.

Cancel your expensive trip to the World Cup, we've all seen them kick the ball before. Instead, get your fill of Brasilian food at Boteco Do Brasil. I had the the Pecanha and they brought a sizzling platter-full of it (must've been about a kilo of meat). I wouldn't have managed it all if it hadn't been so nice. Just got to spend the next week digesting it. Seemed to have a wide array of cocktails if that's your thing (it's not mine) and plenty of choice beerwise.
