What an amazing place! My daughter and I visited on the 2 nights we stayed in Glasgow. My daughter is an electric-wheelchair user, the whole staff from door men, bar staff and manager, couldn't have been more helpful! Easy access into the venue and accessible toilet. Good karaoke bar with a friendly atmosphere. Great drinks selection. Does take card but machine was down when I was there and goes down often so bring cash (disappointing!) Gets very busy though so don’t expect to be singing many songs, you’re lucky if you get up on stage once. Does run a fair queuing system though so can’t really fault the venue.

If you love karaoke and singing then it's a decent place to be. If you're there for any other reason you're not going to have a great time. It's pretty busy and often full of groups out for parties, so you can wait for ages to get a chance to sing. Drinks are on the pricey side too.

We were here on a work night out a couple of weeks ago and it was really great fun. Great atmosphere and crowd who really got behind anyone who took the mike! Very friendly and helpful staff, and good banter with the bouncers! Great night, great craic - definitely recommend, especially for a group/party.

I was a lone karaoke singer just out for the craic... I have fun wherever I am, but sincerely felt that Alan the karaoke man, couldn’t stand me. It didn’t stop me, however it did make me lose my words a lot (or that could have been the drink). I had fun though and I would recommend but bring your friends... if you don’t, be prepared to feel like a knob!

On a friends recommendation and being massive karaoke fans we booked an area for my 30th. What a great night we had! If you fancy a wee boogie with a sing song then around the back area is the place to be. It's an area you don’t see from the front of the venue with lots of seating and a place to dance and massive screens (all around the place) showing everything that’s happening on the stage so you don’t miss out on anything. Prices are reasonable for a late night city centre bar and the service was nice and quick so you don’t miss your chance to be a superstar. All in all a great night in a great bar!

Love this bar! Late night karaoke is always a winner to me. Cost of drinks are the only negative and given it is always busy, there is normally quite a queue to sing but l guess that's a good sign.

Great bar. Upstairs has the best seating area so get there early and grab that if you can. Has a really good view of the stage. Great for recording others as they get up!

This karaoke place is fine. The space is nicely decorated with a part above and downstairs in 2 parts. Sound is very loud. The singer(s) were filmed and shown via a projector in the other part, the quality was poor.

I've been in the cossmapol for the last few weeks and I am so glad I found this bar. I know that I'm safe inside the bar with the quality of security they make sure no trouble happens. I am so very grateful for the security outside at the door I know that when I step outside that the security guy Marcus keeps everything calm even when he has to face annoyed people who are to intoxicated to have more. I recomend this bar for a fabulous night out with a great selection of songs to sing. The staff are awesome.

People definitely only go here for the karaoke! The drink prices are on the high side and the layout of the place is downright weird. The toilets are downstairs which is not so great for the old knees, but look out for the corner stall in the ladies toilets that's more like a changing room!

No card payment really discourages the customers. The security staff is efficient but unnecessarily rude which is a turn off. I went there with a bunch of colleagues after a conference and had a good time which could be made great if these issues are handled.

Place was packed, great night had by all. The four of us managed to get a free shot each on entry due to a guy hanging about giving flyers out. Keep your eyes open (also gets you free entry). Only two things I can say about the place that I wasn't too keen on was that they don't take card (2017 man) and the drinks were a wee bit pricey (but that's understandable as obviously they didn't want people getting wasted). Would still go back.

Every time Ive been out whether it’s a weekday or the weekend it always gets a little busier by the time midnight arrives I never fail to end my night in this bar, always full of great atmosphere and it’s got my two favourite hobby’s, alcohol and karaoke.. what’s not to love! If your looking for a great night out with friends and banter get yourselfs down, staff are friendly and full of banter too, great and quick service 👌🏽

If your looking for a great night out with great music/karaoke this is the place to go the DJ is awesome and the atmosphere at this place is amazing, The Bouncer at the door is a good dude always polite and friendly, but he still does his job so if he can't allow you in because your to drunk suck it up 🙂 don't be like some people on here that post negative stuff that isn't true just because you were to drunk to get in the dude is just doing his job 😁, the staff are good they make sure you get served as fast as they can with a smile. The security at the bar george he is a nice guy always makes sure you and your group are ok and looked after, he is also friendly and a kind aswell 🙂, All the security and staff make this place fun and exciting to be 😁. There are more friendly staff/security but unfortunately i can't remember there names but go and give the place a try you won't regret it, just try and go here in a good mood it will make all the difference in your experience 😁 x

Is NOT full of old people. My friends and I (between 20 and 28) are there pretty much every week for the rock night and it's great fun. There's sometimes the occasional 30+ group but not very often. Drinks are quite expensive though.

Cosmopol is a great little karaoke bar. Easy to find it has 2 floors of seating and toilets in the basement. If it looks packed try going to the back of the ground floor, there's more space back there that isn't immediately obvious. Wear light clothing. There are a few fans but the cooling is woefully lacking. The upper floor can feel like an oven.

The bar staff and security are boss. The karaoke manager however, not the best. If you're a man, you'll get on stage without much wait but if you're a woman (regardless of singing ability) expect to wait hours. The stage quality isn't great so many will sound off key too. Don't pre book a booth because it's ages from the stage if you intend on singing cause you need to be near the DJ or who he knows to get picked. Also var is TWNETY FIVE POUND min on card.
