m. m.This is a well run club, everyone was so welcoming in this American style event. It has lots on the agenda from bingo, raffles and quick draw gun shooting, the music has an authentic country feel. The bar is well priced. 👌

S. K.A fun night was had in the Opry as I aimed to complete one of my #40for40 challenges - to dance with 40 men! It was a hoot and have fond memories. They play bingo at the beginning of the evening and have a shootout. Guests may be able to ask for a trial. Members are friendly and obliging for photos. Drinks are modestly priced. Loved the flag folding ceremony.

J. F.Fabulous night out. Was unsure about this as I’m not really into the “country” scene. Had a wonderful time, music was great, people were super friendly and kind. Won a line at the bingo. Drinks were super cheap and great. Gunfight and line dancing were very entertaining. Just a great night altogether. Will definitely be back

L. H.What a fantastic time we had last night. A group of 12 friends there for a special birthday. Atmosphere was electric, band and staff fantastic. Such a fun night, we are already planning a return visit.
B. A.A great fun night out - very different to the usual weekend fun. It's taken seriously though, so don't poke fun.
Possibly the cheapest bar in the city, and very well stocked.
The only weird thing is that they have a very serious and solemn ceremonial folding of the confederate flag which was a little uncomfortable given what the flag represents to many, but its part of the authentic experience and can easily be overlooked.
All in all a brilliant time was had by all - from bingo to a shoot out to amazing food and great live music. Highly recommended!
F. S.Went here on a works night out for something different. Staff were friendly and made us welcome but it's mainly regulars that are there. Had a good night watching them line dancing although we didn't join in! We did join with a shoot out though!

W. C. K.The Grand Ole Opry is one of the greatest venues in Glasgow. It pays tribute to the US original whilst also retaining local charm. They put on good gigs and the staff are friendly. The drinks are well priced and they don't mess around with food. A burger and chips is: A Burger and Chips. No salad. No garnishes. No messin about with frivolities. LOVE IT.

P.Absolutely phenomenal New Year's Eve, came all the way from Lancashire to a bar across the street and ended up in here, everyones out for pure enjoyment was seated by someone even asked to get stuck into the buffet by the locals who bought ME a drink! Christmas hat stuck on my head dancing and real merryment even brought the New Year in cuddling and carrying on with what were strangers what a night. I may yet return.

Its threadbearn, but soooooo friendly. We had a gunfight and were greeted by the committee who love the place. Definately an experience. I just love the fact that the people who run it love it so much.
