Visited for the first time to see the rumjacks. The venue is a bit on the small side but perfect for a true intimate feel at events! Did find the venue overly warm however was one of the warmest days if the year. Prices if drink didn't break the bank either! Found the sound to not be great with each band but didn't stop me enjoying myself! 🐴

Attended a metal gig this week. It was stated as sold out, but it was not overcrowded to my relief and you could easily move around to get a drink from 2 bars or catch a breath or chat in the merch room. There were also a few seats around to sit. You had stamps so you could easily go out for a smoke or fresh air. Beers were fairly priced. Audio was very good and most importantly staff was very friendly and professional. I had a great time! Thank you!

Went to see Front 242. 3rd time lucky after 2 previous postponements due to Covid. Great gig. Good atmosphere and all the staff including the bar staff were friendly and welcoming.

Its was 1st time the place was full of buzz and loads for fun , we went for drag show tour which was lush as the queens did amazing job .

The show we went to was good and the venue was clean, are were the toilets, staff friendly also. The drinks were disappointing as you did not get your full measure, expensive for a Thursday night. Buying the 2 separate parts would have been cheaper, as we were seated facing the bar we seen that drinks were having too much lemonade added to get the full amount of the mean parts added. The ticket also said it included a 'pint' cocktail, it did not. Has the potential to be good venue but first visit was disappointing and expensive.

I think my last review was a bit harsh giving 1* but yes there are things that need ironed out with Slay. I really like that it’s accessible and the staff have always been nice but I’d like to see more improvement with the venue

Finally, a wheelchair accessible gay venue in Glasgow! Lovely big space with a full stage. Drinks are expensive, but happy to pay to support such a venue

The drinks are definitely watered down or just dodgy. Also pretty weird that they don’t have gender neutral toilets for somewhere so new. Otherwise good fun.

I have been to SLAY twice, soon to be 3 times when I go back tomorrow night. I've never really had proper nights out in Glasgow, but I know now that SLAY is the venue for me!!!! A 10 minute walk from Central Station, which is fantastic. The drinks in there are outstanding, SLAY WooWoos are the best WooWoos in existence!!!!! But most importantly, it is an incredibly safe place where there is no judgement. Everyone is there for a good time, and I honestly can't get enough!!!!
