M. M. S.Fantastic night out to see Michael Levy Junior at The Comedy Lounge. Well worth an overnight stay in Hull. When you need to be served, the light on your table can be turned on to order drinks, food, snacks. Excellent idea, especially for a party of ladies who would rather enjoy dancing the night away than queue at a bar. We will be back. Thank you.

M. F.Went to see Totally Tina what an amazing show and amazing place this is. The first time we came we had bad experience but Paul rectified it immediately I would highly recommend this venue for a fantastic night out as a result of our second experience we have booked tickets for the following week to see George Michael tribute act.

T. W.Fabulous Tina turner but got the chilli, cheese nachos (unfortunately) there was no cheese to be seen it was The liquid variety that you get in America really not pleasant!! Especially when paying for real cheese!!!! So bring back real cheese, and all will be well

We booked really late so didn't get a table straight away which was the only downside but was offered a table later on. Top Tip would be to book this early to get a table but even if you don't it is a fantastic night and I would highly recommend

J. G.Saturday evening found us with an unplanned and unexpected visit to The Comedy Lounge in Hull and what a fantastic experience this proved to be.
Before we even entered the venue the greeting from the door man was very friendly and welcoming. Inside the venue the same level of welcome continued. The venue holds circa 150 guests and seating appears to operate on a first come first served basis.
We arrived in perfect time just before it got busy and managed to claim table 9 just off the corner of the stage. A table with great view of the stage.
Although all of the acts throughout the evening were very good, the absolute stand out thing for us was the quality of the staff and table service. This was absolutely faultless all evening. No queuing at the bar as the table mounted call buttons had a waiter at your table in seconds. A good range of drinks, a small but very suitable food menu coupled with first class staff made an all round top night out that we couldn’t recommend more.

N. H.Paul and crew have done a decent job on this aging venue! Back in my day it was planet Earth but before then I had been a bar and music venue since the seventies! The upstairs bar is well presented and big! I had chance to play guitar on a stage id only ever danced(badly) on so was a good night! Thanks to owner Paul for hosting the might Snake Eye!

C. R.Very safe tables are spread out we had a light on the table to press if we wanted a drink and the staff came to take your order. We had to put a mask on if we wanted to go to the toilets. Everything is set out really well we were very impressed with how it was set up

The turns were very funny. We had a great laugh, a few drinks and a burger. Met owners, really nice genuine people. Will definitely be back again!! Come on Hull let's support our own Comedy Lounge!!!

T. T.This is a good venue for comedy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can sit at a table with your drinks and watch the acts, there's a limited food menu too, so a good night out. I did find the chairs really hard though, and uncomfortable to sit on all evening, some thicker seat cushions would help a lot 😀.
It's a bit hit and miss, with the acts, whether you get some good ones or some not so great. We had a bit of both when we visited. Still a great place and I hope it succeeds.
S. J.Such a relaxed, laid back atmosphere. Joined friends in the quiz night held on a Wednesday evening. Good fun, good food and great people. I can't wait to attend one of the live tribute acts or comedy nights they put on there!!
J. H.A great venue, nice staff. We went for new years party. 1 comedian was a bit duff, however, the rest were brilliant. Average priced drinks. The only problem we had (as did everyone) was the bar staff. They were beyond useless. 40Minutes for our first drinks then 30 mins on average. So I went to the bar, to be told 'sit down it's waiter service'. I'd go back as that might have been a one off.

E. P.Great venue for comedy. Table service for drinks etc is a brilliant idea. Disappointed to be sat behind a post, however. This meant that we had restricted view of the acts on stage. There maybe needs to be a slight change in seating plan. Will definitely be back however.

M.1st time visit, Place was seemed well ran by owner Paul who was busy placing people in their seats, we watched a performance by Stan Boardman who along with the compare made for an enjoyable evening, table service was an added bonus for drinks and food being ordered and brought to and from your table, sharing nachos were a good size portion, burger left a little to be desired, beers on draught were ok and averaged priced. All in all a good night and we will book again when we can.
S. t.I had never been to a comedy club before so was a little scared as to what would happen. It was completly unneeded as is really good. You are greeted on arrival and taken to your seat where you don't have to move from for the rest of the night! This is due to a really basic but equally clever system of a light on your table. Switch it on if you need a drink or food very simple and works well. We booked on facebook and had a seat right near the front which had a great view. The acts we saw where all amazing and funny with original stuff. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a fun night out and enjoys stand up.

G.Brilliant. 2nd visit. Saw Duncan Norvelle. We had to leave at midnight while he was still on stage, that's no slight on Duncan, we had to get home for the babysitter. Love this place and would highly recommend it.

Tickets available in advance for the Comedy lounge booking office. Limited seating. Top tv persinality acts constantly appearing and they want to come back. R.So me and my other half were just scrolling looking for things to do, came across this little place and gave it a shot, by far the most fun I've had in so long, staff are great food was great, entertainment nearly killed me off it was so funny, I even got far to drunk but had the BEST night I've had in years!
A. H.Came on Friday after a bit of Thai food on George Street. 3 comedians and a compere for £15 was unbelievable value. Table service, good range of mine alcoholic beer. Then managed to secure some tickets for Frankie Allen the very next night. I was supposed to be staying in all weekend and recharging. They say laughter is best medicine - get yourself there 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
