A. S.First time at this venue, came here to see comedian Paul Foot who was really funny. This is quite a small venue but pretty good.

Basically, looks like a bar but is a nightclub.

J. H.Just watched Ramble Gamble and Black Beards Tea Party on a school night...bloody great. It's gypsy folk with a Celtic twist an heavy rock with a sprinkle of reggae tonight the place was bouncing. First time in this old pub will be back just to take pictures of the bar. Loved in thank you x
C. W.One of the best live music venues in Hull, especially on a Tuesday night. If you're looking for local, underground music this is a great choice. Great beer selection and a bar with a great atmosphere on most nights. Pool table in the back and large beer garden.

B.As a bar, Polar Bear is pretty standard, their drinks selection is sub par and you get what you pay for but as a live music venue this place really turns around and makes the most of an intimate setting. I've seen some genuinely talented bands and performers here but I wouldn't come just for the booze.
R. N.Music hit and miss. Can have a good crowd. Good collection of spirits- dont drink the house vodka as the the toilets are not particulary salubrious. Good sized smoking area with a slightly dated vibe.
