D. B.An absolute gem of a place. Properly done out 80 odd capacity venue with a bar and its own crew. Essential to the Ipswich music scene and hosts bands from across the musical spectrum.
P. S.A small intimate venue, with a lovely little bar. Literally a capacity crowd attended to see the band my nephew is the drummer in . A very lively atmosphere, friendly crowd and staff. Will definitely visit there again.

A. B.The Smokehouse is a great venue run by volunteers, who are brilliant sound engineers and so friendly. There is parking and a bar on site. The gig room has a good sized backstage and a good sized stage for bands. The sound is great as is the atmosphere. There are lights and a smoke machine available, there are also plenty of unisex toilets!!
G. S.Part of South Street Studios which is a community resource. It's primarily a venue artists can book and use to promote and run their own gigs. So a great place to hear new music and material from local musicians. It's intimate and fairly basic - but the focus is on the music and that's what is important. Hopefully it will be able to continue to grow and give more local musicians the chance to perform in front of a supportive and enthusiastic audience.
B.Cracking little venue showcasing the very best of local and upcoming talent. Great selection of beers and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend the place enough - if you like live music in an intimate and unique environment then this is the place to experience it.
