Great place! Great people! Great music! There's a smoking area! They do food! Would have given 5 stars but health and safety needs a bit of work. The toilets can often be left a right state and some people in the smoking area can get carried away .. However if they improve on the security downstairs and cleanliness it's the best place to hang out! Sometimes there's even video games!

Overall a great club! I go mainly for Ambush nights on Saturdays which is great too! Dance floor is upstairs with seating area downstairs.

I have not only seen some amazing acts here but have also been playing live with my own band for well over 10 years here. Brilliant staff, brilliant music and venue. Since the renovation it has got even better. The beer is nice. The selections on offer is great and the music wuality has got even better. Not to mention that the event they have on here are now quality. Best venue in Leicester.

I literally can't fault this venue. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful, the clientele are chilled and relaxed. They have awesome bands on and I've never experienced any negativity. I thoroughly recommend it for a fun and stress-free night out.

Great little venue - the sound quality was very good, an intimate setting to watch live music. Beer was also served in real glasses, no plastic nonsense here! Beware the nearby NCP car park charged me 13 fecking quid though to leave the motor for not much more than 2hrs.

Pretty rad little venue. Small and sticky. Reasonably priced beer considering the location. Good rock night, the bit we saw. Main stage is oddly tall, but reasonable sound. Loos were clean with plenty of stalls for ladies. Loo seats would have been nice. Good beer and range of other drinks for the kind of venue. Will go back.

A fantastic independent venue that has the feel of a professional entertainment venue. A lovely place to enjoy during the day as a café complete with retro video games, guitar hero and Cards Against Humanity tournaments. A Monday night open-mic night is welcoming and accessible and the drinks are reasonably priced. The selection is also really rather broad. The gigs they put on are well presented with very professional sound and visuals

Love The Shed! I've only been going since they started their club nights, but they're super super good and provides a good rock/punk scene for Leicester unlike another venue which has gone severely downhill *cough* mosh *cough*. The drinks are cheap and the staff super chill. Toilets are super rank but when you're plastered who cares! Would deffo recommend.

Great drinks, awesome space, I love the furniture. I usually go to drinks and jams and it's always unique and fun every week, lots of great acts, I wish I could go to ambush or district but sadly I work those nights. Really fun place to grab a few and hang out.

I came here for an evening/night event, not having been here for several years, and I was very pleasently surprised to see how well it had been renovated at some recent stage - it was clean, well decorated and inviting. Drinks are reasonably priced. Not wheelchair accessible as you go up steps to get to the bar and event venue then down two flights of steps to get to the toilets (which were clean, well-kept and smelt well)!

i love the shed! ambiance is great as well as the customer service! open mic gives new coming artists a great platform to show off they talent. I go very often to watch shows perform live and its a blast each time!

Ambush is always a great event, and you can even rent the top and bottom floors. The bottom floor we hired, for £90+vat at 20%. The top floor is £115+ 20%, but these prices can vary depending on when and the length of time you hire them for. I would highly recommend!

Played here on 14th August 2012, and loved it. The sound is great, it really fills the room. Beer is ICE cold and the staff are quick and cheerful when serving. Plenty of history if you ask the bar staff nicely. When ever Deliverence are in Leicester; we'll pop in for a pint.

Great place for showcasing local bands regularly. Also great for showcasing up and coming bands from in and around Leicester. You can see updated events on their regularly updated Instagram, and Facebook pages. A good atmosphere in the Shed throughout the day, with reasonable priced lunch menu and coffees. In the venue there is also a huge (wall sized) TV for projections and visuals, as well as being used for films and TV programs on special event nights like “Shedflix And Chill”. They also do a very good alternative nightclub night known as Ambush. This is on Tuesday and Saturday, which is a lot of fun, with cheap drinks and free entry before 11pm!
